Sk: Na kraji Bratislavskej zoo pofukoval ľahký vietor, ktorý roznášal jemný zvuk šuchotajúcich sa lístkov.
En: At the edge of the Bratislavskej Zoo, a light wind blew, spreading the gentle sound of rustling leaves.
Sk: Bola chladná marcová noc a Marek, večný smoliar a dobrý sprievodca, sa snažil už niekoľkýkrát vystrieť peristé pióro pred svojou kolegyňou Zuzanou.
En: It was a cold March night, and Marek, an eternal unlucky fellow and a good guide, was trying once again to impress his colleague Zuzana.
Sk: Mal pripravené nové fakty o plameniakoch, ktoré jej chcel v deň Medzinárodného dňa žien vyrozprávať pri káve.
En: He had prepared new facts about flamingos that he wanted to share with her over coffee on International Women's Day.

En: He attempted to call for help, but his phone had no signal.

En: He decided to keep the situation a secret.

En: He didn't want his colleagues—especially Zuzana—to find out that he had foolishly locked himself in the flamingo enclosure.

Sk: Ako sa blížil k východu zo zoo, Marek uvidel Jakuba, strážcu, ktorý ho pozoroval s úsmevom.
En: As he neared the exit of the zoo, Marek saw Jakub, the guard, watching him with a smile.
Sk: Jakub sa len zasmial: "Takže, Marek, ako boli plameniaky?
En: Jakub just laughed: "So, Marek, how were the flamingos?"
Sk: "Marek sa iba uškrnul a zahanbene odvetil: "Úžasní, díky, Jakub.
En: Marek just grinned and replied sheepishly, "Amazing, thanks, Jakub."
Sk: " Potom si uvedomil, že aj keď bol zahrnutý do klbka problémov, teraz má úžasný príbeh na večeru so Zuzanou.
En: Then he realized that even though he was entangled in a heap of troubles, now he had a fantastic story for dinner with Zuzana.
Sk: S novým odhodlaním sa Marek rozhodol byť pripravenejší, no nemohol si pomôcť, aby sa nezasmial nad tým, aké to bolo celé komické.
En: With newfound determination, Marek decided to be more prepared, yet he couldn't help but laugh at how comical the whole thing had been.
Sk: Deň Medzinárodného dňa žien priniesol slnečné počasie a Marek, napriek všetkému, bol o trochu múdrejší a vďaka svojej príhode aj smelší.
