Female erasure in the form of opting out from the oppressed class to the oppressor class is yet another tactic of the patriarchy to control and exploit women’s reproductive capacity. Despite real dangers and risks, we must face the medical industrial complex as embodied women to counter the disturbing commodification of our bodies and minds.
