Traitors Ireland Season 2 Premiere Recap

With me, my lovely co-host, the Ferroflapflap, Annabelle, and we are here to talk about Traders Ireland season 2, week 1, aka episodes 1, 2, and 3. If you were watching the video, I forgot to remove the graphic from the main screen, so you got to a little snippet, spoiler alert, perhaps. But Annabelle, how are you doing? I'm doing great. More Traders in my life. This was a jam-packed week. We had Ireland, Australia, and India for an early week. So it's non-stop Traders. Ireland, it was a treat, question mark.

1:03I, a treat exclamation point to me. I loved every bit of it. It was so much fun. It was good. It was just, it's very broy this season so far. Oh. Like, it's just very, and I don't just mean the missions constantly and relentlessly. The missions be broy, for sure. The overall vibe, there's just a lot of bros. And I'm sure we'll kill some of them off. At least there's a lot of big characters. But like when I'm looking at the cars, I'm looking at the cars and it's giving bro. Yeah, I can see why you say that, especially given what we have lost thus far into the season. I'm going to put the graphic back up for everyone's reference points. I mean, if you click on this part, you already know it's going to be so. You spoil their filth so to consider this your final warning. And then if you're watching, if you're listening, sorry, you're all set.

2:04You already know the names. I assume or you have a sheet with the characters names and with the players names in front of you in three to one. And about. This is our roster. And we have lost in the span of three episodes, a trader, my favorite faithful of the season. And then a couple of people who just kind of like ended up being collateral damage. Yes, some really fun characters. I'll give you that. Yes. Some standout characters. We had some standout moments. You messaged me to say that this was your favorite secret relationship reveal of all time. Bar none, my favorite one. I can't think of one that would top it for me. I think for two reasons specifically, Dennis already was emerging as one of my favorite faithfuls in episode one, a lot of Dennis content. Love that. Then we briefly got to meet Diego. And that was like, that's my brown man on the on the season. Hell yeah. Back in you.

3:04And then they're working together in the mission in episode two. And I was like, all right, they're in lockstep. They made this work. They both got shields amazing. Dennis, the man who said he's single the last episode is actually with Diego. Okay. I. Out of nowhere. We're so confused, right? Because we meet David, our other gay man, gay more stash David. Um, and he's having a chat with Dennis. They're bonding. They're like, thank God I'm not the only gay in the village. Dennis is like, I'm single. We get a confessional from David where he's like, yeah, so Cole and I, we're married. We've got twins. And I'm like, who's Cole? He's talking, he's not like, I have a husband. His name is Cole. He's talking about Cole like we know this man. So I'm like, okay, he's clearly must just be another contestant on this season. And then we're reading Dennis. I'm like, wait, I don't know the way they're setting this up. David, Dennis, are they a couple?

4:05I'm confused where's Cole? Then Dennis and Diego, like mad sexual tension in the mission. They're, they're partnered up. They're dancing. Dennis is like, oh my God. And like, I realized we're still holding hands after we've sat down. Diego, Diego, we've got to stop holding each other. And I'm like, wait, is this a three way cheat man? So this is a four way cheat man, it's because where's Cole? And then they're in a relationship. I'm still like, where is Cole? I was like, okay, he must, there must have been Cole from season one. No, David is just like everybody knows my husband Cole. He's kind of a big deal. Obviously, you know who I'm talking about. And Dennis and Diego would just like the cutest couple ever and I'm obsessed. I've loved it. I've loved every bit of it. We must protect them. Also Diego was getting some sus put on him. I love how he flipped that sus on its head and that entire round table ended up becoming

5:05a DJ round table. They've been phenomenal. So far on the show. And I'm so excited to see where they go as a faithful pair. Like everything about Dennis was giving Reddit bro of the season until we do finally get our ultimate Reddit bro who's actually an Reddit bell. But he's p Dennis is like p cocking aggressively from the get go. And then you've got Diego who's like starting drama with DJ being like, what do you mean you're suspicious of me? Times, suspicious of you. And yeah, anyway, I love them. Dennis and Diego, the double D's forever. I love them. I love them. Again, my fair reveal and I don't. Yeah, my fair reveal, maybe outside of UK one. Could I say so. Oh, yeah, that was great. And my favorite shirt, my favorite romance of all time now still got to be the Meredith charla and then Sarah Nicole love triangle because that was crazy.

6:07That was also great. Yeah, 100%. All right. Edible, it's the first episode, a first recap of the season. And there are 23 people. I'm a math math, 23 people on this cast. And that means we have a lot of people to talk about. First of all, shout out Ireland for not doing anything wacky, not removing anybody out their gate. Every single person on this graphic got to play the game at least for one night. So I'm very happy about that. Could we just quickly say the trader picks? What do you think about them? What do you think about our three then four traders? I like them. I mean, Adele was an interesting choice to recruit, which we can talk about, but I think we've got well-balanced concave here. We've got Carla, who's the super sweet everyone trusts her. We've got Fnulla, the ham. And then we've got chaos Adrian.

7:08What is he doing? What is he thinking? Poor K. So I think it's promising drama. Yeah, Carla might have been my, I was surprised to see her get picked simply because I feel like a lot of other people were getting content leading up to the moment. But since she's become my favorite, I actually really like Carla quite a bit and I'm rooting for Carla heavy. The other two, I would love to say I have Hello hopes for them. But as I write down my early prediction, I don't think Fnulla is making it far. I do not think that's going to happen. Parick could be hit or miss on any given day. He might get in his own way, but it's a little bit tough. I mean, he's just doing crazy things, you know, like Fnulla wants to recruit Adele because she's clearly like getting along well with Adele. Adele has her whole like mama lions going on with three of the guys, but like Adele is main character and start can't stop main charactering.

8:11And poorick is just throwing her under the bus from the moment they recruit her. Yeah. I was living for this because Parick was about to put together potentially my favorite turret of all time by trying to bring in Laura. They were like, nope, that's not going to happen. And then they brought in Adele who already had a bit of suspicion on her because Annabel Adele may have committed the most cardinal sin of all. People know this about me. Don't drink water. Do not drink water after the selection. I'm on to you. And Adele didn't drink water. Adele chugged her water, finished the drink immediately. And from there on, there was no return. The worst part, she wasn't even a trainer when that happened. It didn't matter. She's gulping her water. She's like popping off on poroco and Laura in the mission. She's I she was so much fun.

9:14I can't believe she's already gone. She was also our first banishment of the season. So once again, Ireland immediately getting a traitor out the gate. Ireland continuing to be part one of the strongest faithful casts of any of the franchises now. Like this whole season. So no, and they've I mean, other than Carla, like for no longer in poor case names are out there. People are looking at them. So like all three, well, four traitors minus Carla, like everyone getting a bit of heat. Yeah, yeah, honestly. So I like the traitor group we've put together. Equally, I'm quite keen on a lot of the faithfuls we have here. I don't do you want to do this like almost like a draft style where you name one, I name one and we talk about them as we name them. Okay, let's do that. Let's do that. Okay, so first person I would like to talk about. The aforementioned the gone way too soon flew too close to the sun, queened a little too

10:17hard and ultimately gotten her own damn way. I can't believe Laura's already gone. I'm so bummed out about this. Laura was content. She was just so intense from the very first second. What is she doing after the selected selection, getting up in everyone's face being like, are you a faithful? Are you the traitor? Are you looking in the eyes? Are you the traitor? Are you a crazy behavior? I do love that you know how bad it's got to be as a faithful for the other faithful to be irret, like other being irritated with you for getting all the credit for getting rid of Adele or trying to claim all the credit for getting rid of Adele. She was definitely trying to push that agenda and usually we know that means that you put yourself in that big detective spot. They have no incentive to keep you and Laura left no incentive for her to be kept.

11:19Oh, Petty Queen, Kaylee hated Laura. The way Kaylee is celebrating when Laura is met and all of the men are absolutely devastated. Like Ian's like, my God, we've got to do it for Laura. Like extremely tight shirt Pete who's can barely breathe because his shirt is so tight is using his last bit of oxygen to grieve Laura. I also want to call out, shout out to listener div who we stand being like Laura advising Carla during the first breakfast, you know, like mansplaining to her. So now Carla, I'm just going to I'm just going to teach you. You never say one I'm 100% faithful because actually always it's a traitor who said that he was giving Reddit bro. It's giving the kind of post I let you see on Reddit where it's like, I've just watched three seasons of the traders and I've cracked the game.

12:22I was living for this because I did like the idea of hey, so I think you're good. Just just don't say 100% because when you say 100%, no one else knows 100% except for the traders. But advice fun advice delivered by any but like if it was delivered by like Pete, I would be rolling my eyes, which is hypocritical for sure. But because Laura is so intense and goofy to me, it worked for me. I liked it. I was like, okay, Laura, give it a little bit of advice. And then maybe you shouldn't speak like you think everything's 100% just because you didn't say 100%. Doesn't mean you weren't speaking like you were talking 100%. You don't want to do that either. We missly everyone says 100% 100% at the time. It's like one of the most overused phrases. It means nothing. But I just love Laura. I love her confidence. I love that she's a sales queen and she's giving that sales queen energy. Like she's not holding back at all.

13:25No, she's not pulling her punches whatsoever. Who's another faithful you would like to talk about? Let's talk about extremely tight shirt Pete. Seat, yes, I'm happy you said that because I nearly opened up with Pete here. Just a really good detective is kind of the vibes. I mean, he's nitpicky as a detective. He was like, she said she's from this city, but then she said she's from this city. She's lying to us. I don't think that matters, my friend. You are talking about a trader. I just didn't think that was that big of a deal. But I do think his head is screwed on right as a detective to intense, I think. And genuinely, we'll be surprised if he makes it past the midway point. If he continues to play like this, but I am intrigued by his like demeanor. By demeanor, do you mean the fact his shirts are sprayed on?

14:26How did he find a leather jacket he could physically put on that was that tight? Pete from the Irish defense forces, something about him is giving American to me. He just looks quite American. And I realized exactly who he looks like. He is a doppelganger of, do you remember that famous psychic medium who had that TV show about talking to the dead John Edward? He was like really big in the two, the like the 2010s, 2000s. And they seriously, he looks exactly the same. While you're looking at up, I'll keep running to you about Pete. Pete. He's just, yeah, no, it's he is John Edward. He's such on everyone. He does happen to be correct. Like I wrote down the names he was naming. He's name, he's such on Janet with her little bit, she fringe. He's, I think he is one of the ones who's a little bit sus on Donald as well.

15:30He's sus on Poricay, he's sus on Fnulla, he's sus on a gel, he's sus on everyone, but he does actually happen to be quite correct. Right. There. Yeah, no, is that not Pete? I could, yeah, yeah, that's valid. I can see that for sure. Pete is Jack John Edward. I mean, John Edward was wearing the tight shirt and this other one I'm looking at now too. But anyway, yeah, I think that, I think that, again, I don't think that's a good, like that's too intense to a degree. I think that this is also the type of person who could easily gain followers and have people walk with him as a detective. So I don't think he's long for this world, but I am intrigued by him. And I think he's a fun enough character for now. He can stay. The next person I want to bring up, and I'm going to dip once again into the banished pile

16:33real quick. Sean A, because at about, I can't remember the last time I watched someone make themselves as a target immediately following a banishment because Sean A, walked up, he said as a trader, I mean, faithful. And then from there on, began to bury himself until his last breath. I would die for Sean A. Oh, Sean A. Yeah. Yeah. Sean A was incredible. He was just the worst in that first mission. He's like so grumpy and like starting fights with Gromia for no reason. He's holding court constantly. He's holding court after the first banishment because he's the one who was like kind of backing a del there. He spoke vocally, spoke out in defense of a del.

17:35He then demands to hold court where he sticks his foot in it and calls himself a traitor. And then spends the entire next day monologuing at length about how everyone needs to vote out, Donald and Janet because they're young and hot. And like not letting the women join the conversation. Between that and then also fucking literally, literally putting himself in a position where he agitated people to the former Laura and then unfortunately from Laura whispers to, who did she whisper to? No. She had it. I think Ian was one of the parties. I think let's I can find that out for you. I think it might have been Ian. She whispered to somebody and said, Hey, so if I die, it's Sean A. Guess who died? Yeah.

18:36Sean A didn't need that. Sean A, like the traders were celebrating. They're like, we kind of feel the law and a put some heat on Sean A, but we didn't even need to. It was desperate to get all the negative attention. Yeah, so quickly, I just couldn't believe it was just word vomit. He couldn't stop and he kept going and going and going and going and going and going until his last breath until he has managed completely. And as unfortunate as that is, he did it to himself. Yeah, and I stand him forever. Rest in peace, our sweet Prince Sean A. Well, who's the next person you would like to talk about? I get to pick the next person. Let's talk about David David of Colm partner fame and not in a relationship with Dennis or Diego.

19:37What did you think about David? Yo, David fun at first, but my God, that last episode was I started rooting against David. The David heel turn, I was not here for David. David did a lot of the tropes. I personally don't like at a roundtable. I called it badgering the witness because he's like, and even the car, he's like, you're not even you're not even denying that you're not a trader. Look, how do I, how could I even trust you? And then from there to everything at the roundtable, I felt so uncomfortable. And then I was like, David, even if you think he's a trader who cares, like don't, like this is too much. You don't need everyone's looking at Sean A. You can hold on to this, bring it up a little bit, a little bit, enough like even if he is a trader, you won't get murdered. But you don't need to go all in tonight. That's not the move. Yeah, Donald just couldn't match David's freak here, you know? Like David wanted to have it out.

20:38Donald got it. And Donald is like, I got no freak at all. No, I think that David has quite good instincts. You know, he's in, I think at the first breakfast, he's kind of clocking for no, he's like, she's a bit of a ham. I just, I don't believe her reactions, her reactions don't seem real to me. And in fairness, he's not super suss on Donald, who I do think brings unnecessary attention to himself with his behavior at the first mission, which we'll talk about when we get to him. But it's the fact that when he questions Donald, Donald just gives him nothing and basically refuses to say I'm not a trader. And it's like, yeah, I guess your read is right. If I, you know, I'm a trader, that's exactly what's happening. And I think it's that David can see that Shawna is a distraction, that Shawna isn't a trader, he's just a white old man. He's a crusty grumpy dude.

21:40And so he's getting frustrated. So it's a shame that like his correct instincts about Fnulla have been sidetracked by, you know, this new Donald obsession. But I'm kind of interested to see what we see from David. Yeah, same. I think there's a lot there from David that we're going to get. And I think David is again, I'm happy that we have more, I feel like this cast, what stood out to me is it's a lot of vocal people. And they can be loud, but are they going to be wrong or right? I don't care. They're being loud. That's all I can ask for because everyone is actively saying something. He's next person. Surprisingly, like I could see you being someone telling me we didn't see much of them. And I feel like we saw them a lot. And that's parake, faithful, faithful, parake, oh. Saw a lot of him actively one of the bigger voices on the faithful side, but like loud

22:42and not giving me much. You know what I mean? I don't know how I feel about Porra card. Interesting. There's nothing about him specifically where I'm like, no, but there's something in me where I'm like, no. So he's the one who brings a lot of attention to Lauren him in the second mission. So in the second mission is there, it's basically musical chairs. We saw a similar version of this in UK. And when the music stops, it's whoever's sitting on a haystack gets to move on. And the last people left will get shields. But when the music stops, you also have the opportunity to get shields. And so Poric, oh, is straight up. He's parted with Laura. He's like, I am not even going to look for money. We're sitting down. We're winning. And in fact, it's four rounds, four total rounds where him and Laura sit down on the

23:45haystack without going for money. And they are getting called out like Adele straight up comes for his wig to put things in perspective. The only other couple who like, or the second most couple who sits down without looking for money is Dennis and Diego, the double D's and they do it twice. So it's, it, it, he's very self-serving. He's the one who goes to Donald and tries to give him a peck talk. I, I, I think, I don't mind that he's a self-interested player, but I think he's playing in a way like the most self-interested thing you can do and the traders just make friends. And I don't know that he's doing a great job of that. I think that you mentioned earlier that you got a little bit of reddit energy from Laura. I think Poric is the type of player who's like, oh, the book dictates this is how you should be. You should always go for a shield. You should like money doesn't matter if you're not there. Like, so I'm not going to go for the money.

24:46Yes, these are great instincts to have. Not at the second challenge of the season, especially when the first challenge, y'all volunteered to have no one be on the short list, meaning everyone was united in a, we're gathering money and we're working as a team. This flies directly opposed to that. And I think he has a bit of a cold demeanor about him to some people, which I don't think is going to help. So that I do worry for him, but as a character, I am fascinated to see how much more selfish he can get before someone loses their mind. Yes, yes. I, I see conflict on his horizon if I was a trader's psychic. But I, again, interesting character, I just don't know. I'm like, who do I love on this season? There's a few of them. I love Kaylee, who I want to talk about next. So Kaylee is super rubbed the wrong way by Laura and Porico refusing to get any money

25:48and repeatedly sitting on the hay bales. She calls them both out at the first round table. She's celebrating when Laura is murdered, thrilled. And she is also pretty pissed off in the last mission as well when all the men are saved, not all the men, but only half of their house is saved and only two of them are women. Yeah, I'm not surprised that she feels this way. I feel like this is something that we talk about way too often with the traders. This phenomenon where the men equal strength and then the men equal safety, which I don't care for, especially because like the missions really should not be like if we're saving people and giving them safety, it really shouldn't be because oh, this person is like jacked, which like not they're not even jacked like that. So what are we doing here with just assuming?

26:51It sucks. And I also feel that with a Dale and Laura gone, we've lost two of the more outspoken women and we just have a lot of noisy men on the season as well, which is why I think I'm getting the bro energy where I'm like, I just don't want this to be one of those seasons where we come in every week and we're only talking about the men because they're the ones who are sucking up all the airtime. Yeah. Well, let's talk about speaking of the men. Let's segue into another man here and let's talk about DJ. The I'm a car salesman, but I said I'm a car part salesman. How is that any different DJ? You might as well have just said you're a car salesman because now no one believes you. Honestly, Sean A jumped in front of the grenade to save DJ because DJ was going to be cooked by the next banishment and then Sean just took that spot from him clean. DJ, doing the most the way he's like, I'm not just going to lie about my job.

27:57I'm going to be the absolute most about my fake job. They arrive at the castle and he's like just endlessly going on about being a car part salesperson to the point where for no, is like what calls him out. She's like, wow, you're giving so much detail. This feels like a lie. Immediately the first round to everyone, everyone, everyone, I've got a confession to me. I'm not a car. I'm not a car part salesman. I'm a car salesman. I'm not a car. Yeah. Um, I, my favorite part, maybe I don't remember who was mad. It was it's him. So I was like, well, you said you, you got me when we get out of here, you're going to hook me up. It was not just all the lie. And he's like, no, no, no, I can do that. I'm a car salesman. I was like, why do you promise these people services already? DJ, what are you doing? He's first into breakfast with Dennis and Diego. And DJ's trying to call him and Diego the double D's. He's like, oh my god, you know, we were so close on each other now and not we kind of like the double D's and Dennis is like, I think we should just be the triple D's because

29:02like, I am definitely part of this. DJ's like, no, no, no, it's all about Diego and I. DJ is going to be one of our Duluth's of the season. And I'm honestly excited to see where he goes from here. Can we then talk about someone who there was an attempt on sus on her that backfired stupidously and that is Janet. Janet with a beachy fringe. Yeah. Shade tried to be like, listen, one of them's Janet, the other one's Donald and Janet was having none of it, none of it. She was not there for it's like, what because I'm hot because of my bitchy little fringe and even short a short a who cannot be convinced of anything was eventually like, yeah, I don't I don't think I can get the votes on Janet. So I'm just going to focus on Donald.

30:02I feel like Janet has a lot of potential. I think she's going to be loud and wrong, but I think she's also going to be fierce and fabulous. I can see her still being here light in the game and like calling people out who she has no business calling out and I will love it. I would too. Let's talk about the other person in that sus sandwich. Donald who genuinely, I can't tell if he's having a good time if he wants to be there. The man doesn't say much. It's very hard to know. Well, he was really forward in the first missions. And the first mission we had, we've just seen it in Australia and New Zealand. The mission were like along the way you have to sacrifice players in order to like carry heavy things or whatever and then assemble it at the end. And inevitably they sacrifice all of the women and whoever's left at the end gets a shield. And it's Donald who at the end says, well, it's unfair that all of these people were

31:04sacrificed along the way. So it's just us left. No one's getting the shield. We're all going to stand outside the circle, none of us are getting the shield. And when he stuck his neck out like that, I was like, I don't know that it's a good idea to be putting your neck out like this early and especially when it involves putting other people in danger. But then everyone was celebrating him. He was hero of the moment. They're like, Donald can't be banished. Donald can't be murdered. But by the time we sort of get to like ep two, ep three, his name starting to be out there and he's a major, a major focus in episode three. And you're right. He just doesn't fight back. No, which I think, you know, there is such a thing as fighting back too hard like a Sean A. But then the polar opposite and doing nothing as equally as bad because one of two things can happen. Either people think it's suspect that you're not saying anything and they'll push that agenda or at some point people like he's just, it's just not him and then you'll get murdered.

32:08So I don't think there's a, you got to do something. You got to like try and move that line a little bit here and there. So he's very young. I get that and he's just had a traumatic injury and I get that. But I think if he's not got that dog in him to fight for his spot in the game, I, I don't think we're going to see him for long. What can we talk about Ian? Ian, I think, is a critical bro. I think he is keeping the bro drew alive and even though he's not the loudest bro, I feel like he's very embedded with the bros and I feel like he is on the short list for them to murder and I do think like, I feel like Carla Fennel should murder him. Um, I'm fine with that. I am fine with that. I do think that there is potential for a rally here and we don't really, you don't want that. You want it to be a little bit more scattered here amongst the faithful. He's tight with Pete.

33:09He's tight with Sam. He's tight with Poricot. I think he's all right with Donald. So I just, I think that he, we, we saw a lot from him compared to some of the faithful. Like he gets a lot of narration interviews. I, I feel like compared the other people up for murder are Eifer and Sersha who we basically saw nothing from. I mean, I know Eifer and Sersha found Shorne annoying and were rubbed the wrong way by all the men being saved in the last mission. But other than that, I couldn't tell you anything about them. Whereas Ian, I feel like I know how Ian's moving in this house. Yeah. I, we're getting to that point now where we haven't really talked, we've talked about Dennis a little bit, but now everyone else that we've not touched on, I do feel like I don't know enough about them now. We're kind of getting to that phase. Sersha, I feel that way about Sam, we get a little bit, we get a little bit because he's

34:15like the most trusted for the mission. That's it. Anna had a birthday, happy birthday, Anna. Okay. Eifer, we've not learned a whole lot about Sean C, I feel like we got a little feature early and then it's been nothing since. He's Sean C is Mr. Math's data points, which really got him murdered and one of the chief actually suspects, I took me a while, we got the word suspects out there, actually suspects Donald and was kind of responsible for him not getting a shield even though he's a man. Gron, you know, we know nothing about other than she beefs with Sean A. So like there's just a lot of characters, we're still here to get to know. So I suppose we can kind of get into some of the key points from the episode. Yeah, I think so, I think it's time to do that. Actually, you want to quickly talk about the fact that our first potential family thing

35:16that happened or like these people are connected was Kaylee and Emma and then Emma died. That's really all Emma got for Emma. And it was it was Carla leading that as well. Emma was so cute. It was the thing about her that was just adorable to me and I was really looking, I was really sad when she was the best person that had. I mean, I say same. It could have been worse. I was nervous about some of the other picks that could have happened there. So Emma kind of was the cause who was on that list? It was Emma Dennis and who was the third person? Sean A. Oh, no, Sean A. Sorry, Sean A was the true murder was Dennis, Emma and Kaylee. I would have they clearly wanted to split up the family. Mother daughter duo who by the way, devious, that it's a 12 year difference. So yeah, that is so funny. Can we talk about actually the recruitment? So in the recruitment, Finola really wants Adele because she likes Adele and I think

36:20that poor at Kay gets on board with that because he knows that Adele will be an early murder. But the other options here were basically are two mega crush picks, Laura and Sean A. Yeah. Can you imagine either of those options being up there in the concave that I mean all three of them icons, Adele, Laura, Sean A. Imagine if that had been the concave. It would have been perfect. That would have been a phenomenal concave also. Sean A would have been chaotic. Okay, Sean A wouldn't, the thing is Laura would have also been. Okay, they're all chaotic. Yeah. They would have been giving the US season where they all fought each other and hated each other. No, I've not done anything. Yeah. Yeah. Such messy boots.

37:22So then we have, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we've already spoken about the first mission. We've spoken about this second mission as well. So this is the one that despite Porrico and Laura, you know, making a big scene about the fact that they weren't contributing money and trying to win actually end up losing to the double d's which we love. That was iconic. And then the round at the round table, there is a bit of heat on Porrico for it. So Eiffa and Kaylee, Eiffa, a cute Porrico of smoldering. Bots? Do you agree? It's like, yeah, I do. I do smolder, smolder. I'm like, is it a smolder or is it like a resting bitch face? I don't really know. I'm just a mysterious musician. I don't know what you're on about. Yeah. Is it being a musician is that why I'm beefing with him? Are you anti musician?

38:25I think I am anti musician. I mean, I like musicians, but I just feel like if Eiffa man is a musician, it's not a classical musician that's often a red flag for me. Very specific genre. Where to be sure. Yeah. Okay. No further questions. I mean, fair. So then at the second, so then we're talking at the second one, we're thinking this is where we end up murdering Laura. Fenola wants Laura out because Laura comes up with actually the very good theory that it's so early in the game at that very first round table. As if the traitors are going to vote out one of their own. So we need to be looking at everyone who voted for D.J. Which to recap was Sean A. Anna, Sarsha Diego, Adele Fenola, Donald Janet. So this is born in there.

39:29Yeah. I think that you can never assume actually to be fair to Laura, I think it is safe to assume that early. Why would the traitors turn on each other? But I do think it's funny. The idea of so Adele leaves the game never having met the other traitors. So she didn't know who the traitors were. So kind of a power move to be like, listen, I know we gave her the spot, but like, let's just get her out immediately and reset. Like we were happy with the three we had. So let's just do that. Because I think that if we look at the three they picked, would you argue that Adele from the outside looking in was like the most sensible pick? Like she was going to be the least chaotic pick? I mean, they picked three really chaotic people. I feel like the traitors had very different motivations in picking her. Like, Fannula liked her, wanted to work with her, wanted them to stick together.

40:31And she's shaken and taken aback by the fact that the other two vote her out. She's pissed about it. And it's like, I don't know if I'm going to trust them again. Whereas I feel like Porek K approved that choice because he wanted to gun for her. And he wanted to clear himself by being like, yeah, it's Adele. And it worked for him. I mean, it's okay to be clear. I don't think he got what he wanted. Adele leaves. But does it help Porek's game? I don't necessarily think so. I think the suspect Porek's going to have is just going to have it. So. I mean, only extremely tight shirt Pete is looking at him, right? Whereas Donald has that big moment in the first mission where he stops everyone from getting a shield. Then he's one of the DJ votes. Then he won't tell David he's not a traitor. And that's why I feel like Donald ends up being in the game as someone everybody is looking at. Whereas Porek K is not as high up on Pete's list.

41:36I don't remember his name. And you might have to help me with this, but I think I got the franchise and the season correct. New Zealand too. American boy. Was he an author? Was he a regular? No, no, no, yes. Yes, yes, who basically just got. Graded into be into submission and just was like, just get rid of me like I'm over. I could see this man going in that direction because a lot of things will be working against them moving forward. A lot of things. Donald officially, this is suspicious twink of the season. I think we're here that's always want. Well, there you go. As far as the traders go, let's go back to the turret real quick. So now we're left with the car and parake. I think this group could work with together. I just feel like Funula is a little bit of a liability here in a fun way, but an asset to

42:39the turret you are not to me currently. No, no, she's fun for TV, but I don't know that she's going to be. I mean, I think, poor at K really should be more threatened by Carla, who is just absolutely on no one's radar. But Funula is just there being, we haven't talked about like the most insane moment of the entire first week, which in the dying moments of episode three, we have this incredibly camp and unnecessary scene by the gravesite. And they've chosen who they are to murder. And then we go into like this cemetery and they're all standing around a coffin in the ground and going, what was that? Yeah, I don't know why we needed a cutscene. We just got a random cutscene by this graveyard to end the episode. And mind you, a bit of a cliffhanger because now we don't have anything to lapse for. So I don't know why this had to happen.

43:40I just, it was crazy. I think, you know, Pete is eyeing off Funula and her reaction at the last round table. Then like Funula drama teacher being the most, I mean, this is the thing like she's either putting on these massive ham reactions or not giving enough, which Pete's clocking. And I think the reason why I brought up this camp and unnecessary scene is because Funula's in like full drama teacher mode, like the others clearly feel a bit awkward about it. They're like, and Funula's like, Oh, I just love her. We have ourselves a fun turret. That's for sure. Yeah, for absolute certain. Yeah. Remind me again, who was the shortlist going into this next batch? Sorry. We are either murdering Ian, Sasha or IFA, which is why I'm like, we just murder Ian, like, we've not even got to know he for our search yet.

44:44Ian, he's a, a glue guy. I feel he's a glue guy. Yeah. And, you know, for Carla and Funula, I feel like you need some more of the men out of there. The, the less women, if people are going to start metting, you don't want to be like, you don't want to, you want more numbers in that camp and like strike a balance here amongst the murdered. I think Ian also of the three has more of a voice currently. A more of an impact, which is not to say that, you know, that IFA or search aren't going to have that. But right now, Ian's in a stronger spot and Ian would be a good pick because I do understand their argument of, hey, we need to go low key for the next murder. We don't want all of our murders to be like big characters. I get that. But there's still 20 of you. Like you have time to do the non the one, the smaller murders or the more, not smaller, but like the more quiet murders. Yeah. Yeah. I think we still got time for that. And people trust Ian. I just think Ian's more dangerous.

45:46And I feel like IFA and Sersha could girly pops down with Carla. 100%. All right. So is there anyone else you want to talk about here a little more at length? I mean, Sam, what is Sam deliver? We don't really see anything from him. He saves a hot, the only two women, by the way, who have shields all this last episode are Janet because she's having a panic attack because she's claustrophobic and needs to be saved and Carla because she's girl boss and we stand her. Like the rest of them all dudes, Sam, what's going on, bro? Boo. Boo. Yeah. I think that, well, like I said, I think all I really know of Sam is that he ends up being the most trusted to get picked for that mission. But beyond that, there's not much else provided here by him from like as a in the game

46:48perspective, we're not seeing a lot at the round table or any of his leading suspicions yet. So we'll see where he goes. But right now I'm not getting a lot out of Sam. I feel like people might know him from Gaelic football. So I was messaging one of my friends in Ireland and they were like, yeah, yeah, because Gronja was from the same town as them. And he's like, oh, the only one, I don't know Gronja, but I do know Sam. So I was like, I wonder if Sam is like relatively well known. I'm touching it's the things to say about him, you know? Well, I feel like athletes also typically they get cast on the shows are one of two, right? They're either the the very competitive like brutal person or the very charming and like PR like diplomatic one. I do think Sam is the latter not the former. And I don't think he's a big deal. Like I think he's just, you know,

47:49you know, Sam, he's just Sam. He's just doing his thing, you know, the other thing I thought that was crazy was that Dennis was the other major choice for most trusted in that mission. And I was like, how did Dennis go from, oh, he's wearing a really loud for door. I think that's going to bring attention to him to everyone loves Dennis. He's a great guy. I mean, I love Dennis, but I didn't. I thought that that was in the, you know, me just loving really chaotic people. Yeah, I don't, I mean, I think in that first episode, a lot of people are like that Dennis kind of sketchy. Maybe keep on them. And then next, next I know it's like, I think Dennis, we trust Dennis. That just goes to show that there's charm that goes beyond the hat. It just transcends the hat. So there you go. Okay. So are we on the same page? I want to like maybe start veering into predictions a little bit here. Are we on the same page as far as the three traders go as to who is going to outlast the

48:50others? Calla, right? Like Carla. I see calla going, I mean, considering this is apparently calla's first time, you know, going away without her parents, I think that she's doing such an amazing job. She's again, beloved. I think she's the least cutthroat of the three of them, but I think that's probably a good thing. Yeah, I think so. And I think as long as there's other people in the turret, like you don't even need to be all that cutthroat. So you're going to be fine. Because I mean, as a trader, I guess the true test would be once you befriend some of these people, if she can not get herself the murder of them, that might be the issue. Yeah, let's make some more dangerous predictions. I think calla goes deepest, but I don't think any of these three win. Interesting. Now, all right, let's go even deeper. Okay. First three episodes, meaning they're so a lot more to go. Are you reading faithful winner trader win?

49:52Just period. Faithful win. I'm reading faithful win so far. Yeah. Yeah. Faithful win is exactly where I'm leading. I mean, it's Ireland. Ireland, I feel like has such. I don't know what it is, but they know they can sniff out the traders well. I've only seen three episodes of this season to deal that way as well. The turret is like kind of chaotic. So we got that going for us. Okay. Who do we think is getting? I mean, we're manifesting an Ian murder, but. Do who, who else do we think is going next week? I think we lose Ian. I think we lose for no, the next week too. And my dangerous prediction will be that Donald stays. Donald makes it through the week. That's not a bad call at all. I think we lose DJ this upcoming week.

50:55Yeah. While it looks like the coast is clear, I could easily see it being a 360 right back and DJ being in shit once again. Another wild prediction. We lose psychic medium peak. As a murder or as a banishment. Oh, it's too easy to say murder. So shall I say banished? I mean, you say banished. I say you're messing with me because I just don't see it. But I mean, this is supposed to be a wild prediction. Yeah, I just think Pete, we lose Pete on my own. How about that'll be my just putting it out there. I mean, if we're just going to make the, I'll make a bold prediction. Also, I think we'll be, we'll, we'll be down to 1 OG trader by the end of next batch. Oh, all that spicy. All right. I like that. I like that. That happens. Yeah. That will be fun. All right. What about what about who's going to be our breakout character? We like to do that early.

51:56Yeah. Hopefully not to bring much off who we're going to see a lot from. Yeah. Some of not seen much of who we're going to see a lot. But I think Sean C, I think Sean C, they loaded enough content. There that I do think Sean C's going to be a big character, but not enough that we've seen yet. But also Sean C doesn't seem to be in any danger of going home for a little while. I think Sean C, although Sean C's name was Sean C's name did come up once in the turret as someone who could be dangerous and sneaky. But I can see Sean C taking in a good faith. Yeah. Yeah. I'll stick with Pete because we he's kind of there, but he's not really been a standout character. He's not had a lot of screen time. I think he's going to have a massive visibility spike before his banishment that he's just going to have a massive visibility spike for his demise. Yeah. And then who is a big character that you could see getting an early exit? Who is in our, we'll call it the Laura award.

52:59Oh, big characters who are going to go out soon. Maybe David gets a lot of blowback from targeting Donald. Hmm. Okay. But I think for Nula, I think for Nula's our big character that's going to go, right? I think so too. That makes the most sense. It really does. Yeah. What about your crush picks? Well, this is. This was hard. Oh, yeah. All right, you go first. You go first because it'll help me with mom. All right. So in no particular order, my three for the week are Dennis, Laura, Carla, and Pete gets an honorable mention. Okay. I like that star. Mine. I am absolutely. I need to have Kaylee on. Oh, okay. I need to have Janet and her bitchy fringe.

54:00I love Janet. I think she's gorgeous. I love the bitchy fringe. I love her sassy energy. I love Kaylee. And being her just being a petty queen. She's just calling people out. She's like, yeah, I'm glad she's murdered. She's like, I don't have to deal with Laura going on and on and on. I'm going to be murdered tonight. I'm going to be just murder her. Love that energy from her. And then I'm like, who is my super chaotic? Pete, here is it like, as in who, who brought me the most fun by being kind of toxic? Was it Laura or was it Seanay? I think so he gets on the list. I'm going to give it to Seanay with a strong, honorable mention to Laura. Okay. Okay. Of course, Seanay makes your list. Like that, I should have known. I should have. You know what we should do next week? We should see if we can we can snipe each other's picks. Yeah, yeah. But we have to know before we start talking about them.

55:03Yeah. Okay. Deal. Any other predictions here, Annabelle or any other last comments before we head out? Actually, I have a question for you. I changed my mind. Overall, were these how did you feel about these three episodes? It's kind of how I felt about them. Like it was fun and I enjoyed them. But I think because, you know, we have been watching a lot of traitors recently. An honor of flexion as much as I loved the characters in New Zealand 3. Now that I guess I have a new standard of what I could be getting in Australia 3. I'm like, this is more in New Zealand 3 territory for me here. Where I'm like, look, there's some really fun characters who I'm really enjoying. And yeah, we got a a traitor out first. But like I was never gripped. I was never on the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen next.

56:03And I just think that's because I'm not feeling super connected to any of these characters yet. Yeah. I am. I've really high on what we've seen so far. Maybe it's just because I'm in peak traitors enjoyment form right now. A U has been so much fun. That like maybe I'm higher on these episodes than I should be. But there's just a level of I'm getting a little bit of Canada two vibes. The faithful are a little louder. They're a little routier. They're pushing on each other's buttons very quickly. There's a lot of emotion and we've only had two round tables. Which only to me means everyone here is going to be invested. Whether for the right or wrong reasons, I don't care. As long as they're bringing the energy and the heat, I'm here for it. So I'm really, really, really hopeful that this this batch of traitors is going to end up being being good. I'm looking forward to it. I am looking forward to it. And I feel like this next week is going to make me more immersed.

57:06You know, because you spend so much of the first week just trying to remember who everyone is. Trying to work out what's, you know, how you feel about the moon. So I think now I'll be able. And I love that we have David Dennis Diego. I love that we have so many more queues on this season as well. I think that's really fun. Same. All right.
