Principal photography took place from August 2024 to October 2025 across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Thoothukudi and Jaipur simultaneously shot in Kannada and English.
Toxic was released worldwide on 26 August 2026. The film received mixed–to–negative reviews from critics and audience, who criticised its pacing, themes, substance abuse, sexual content and excessive violence, with praise for its cast performances (particularly those of Yash and Advani), technical aspects, ambition, and action sequences.
