First warning meteorologists are tracking the storms live. Monday marks a first warning impact day for Central Alabama, with threats of heavy rain and damaging winds. These conditions are part of a larger severe weather pattern hitting the region. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a level 2 of 5 slight risk, marked in yellow, covering all of Central and North Alabama. That means tornadoes, hail, and strong gusts are possible.
