We got the World Baseball Classic Championship game with Team USA coming up in just over an hour. But a good Tuesday night in the NBA. Before we get there, really quickly, Brad, let's get our first update here. As the madness has begun, how are the UMBC from Dayton? What is going on in the first five minutes? Oh, well, UMBC scored the first four points of the game. And then Howard ripped off a 9-0 run. The new UMBC finally got back on the board. It is 9-6, about 15 minutes remaining here in this first half inside UD Arena. Bull team's not exactly shooting the leather off the ball. UMBC, the retrievers shooting now 30%. As they just put another ball through the basket is 9-8. Howard is shooting 43%. The one observation I primarily have, this is going to be a high scoring game. You know how you and I were talking about how I love the over at 1.48

Playoff positioning massive in this one right now. The Miami. He entered tonight as the seven seed in the East at 38 and 30. But they are only a half game back of both the Toronto Raptors and the magic for a spot in the top six in the Easter conference.

3:06Excuse me. Meanwhile, the Hornets ever since they got off. You know, they had what historic scalding hot stretch where they were 16 and 28 and they basically won. It was like 14 of their last 16 games. They've come back down to earth a little bit. They're 34 and 34 safely as the 10 seed because it doesn't look like Milwaukee. The bucks are going to catch them. But you know, they're four games back of Miami. They're four and a half games back of the top six. I thought the way the Charlotte Hornets were playing, they would be where the Miami heat are. But you know, the hawks have one 10 in a row. The magic had one eight in a row. The heat had one seven in a row. So you got some of these teams playing some of their best ball of the year. I like the Hornets here tonight, especially because Mr. 83 points. Bam out of bio out for this game along with Andrew Wiggins. He is not going to play. He hasn't played for five straight games now. So two of their key starters for the heat are out including Bam out of bio. I think the Hornets take care of business here tonight.

4:06I'll lay the spread with them. They're covering. It's four and a half points on that MGM. I think the Hornets roll here. I've been adopting this team as my little step brothers here for the last couple of months. Hopefully they don't let me down. I like the Hornets to win and win comfortably in this one. Yeah, the horse has been rocking, man. The most a net efficient team in the NBA over the last 10 games. I'm going to be a little bit counterintuitive here. I know he liked the Hornets and this was definitely leaving leaning into being kind of counter to your argument. Davey on Mitchell. I'm going to take the over on five and a half assists at plus one or two little babies. It is managed use on that one oddly. Even though Charlotte has allowed the viewers opponents this per game in the NBA over the last 10 just 23.6 per contest. Mitchell in three games this season against the Hornets seven times five times nine times. So he's done this in two was last read that we sit the under one five and a half assists in four straight games.

He's going to be reevaluated in a week or two. He's got some lingering knee soreness so you might see a you know four five game absence here from the Ant man. And yet Brad I think Minnesota rolls in this one Phoenix on a back to back to play the Celtics last night. A physically taxing game. They're still missing Dylan Brooks.

6:06They're still missing their center Mark Williams. Grayson Allen is doubtful of play. Give me the T walls here to get it done without Anthony Edwards in a little revenge spot as well since they've already lost two to Phoenix. I like Minnesota. What do you like in this game? They all lean into that narrative. I'm going to live in a land down under on Royce O'Neill under four and a half rebounds at a minus one 15 juice. Two matchups prior against Minnesota. When over once went under once eight rebounds and one three and the other. He's averaging just north a number in the month of March at four point six boards per game. I split right down the middle and eight games this month. He's been over and four and under and four.
