Tom Prior - SkyFire

Tom is a 23-year-old Campus Ministry graduate assistant pursuing a Master’s of Organizational Leadership degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. His work with Campus Ministry includes hosting faith-based discussions and leading service projects once a week. He also works as a sports broadcaster and camera operator for a local Quad Cities cable network. He played baseball at St. Ambrose during his undergraduate studies and was editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, ‘The Buzz’. The avid St. Louis Cardinals fan grew up in Bloomington, Illinois and is a graduate of Bloomington Central Catholic High School. When he isn’t studying, participating in service opportunities or covering athletic events, Tom spends his time writing. His enthusiasm for writing fiction is evident in his self-published action/adventure novel ‘Skyfire’, which was completed in February 2014. Tom has donated over $1,300 of his novel’s profit to Catholic Charities and The Children’s Miracle Network because he wants to provide others with the opportunity to pursue their dreams. He’s currently writing the sequel to ‘Skyfire’ and plans to publish it in early 2016.
