0:00On March 30, Tom Cruise might step into villain shoes for Joseph Kaczynski's Miami Viceroy boot. The buzz started with insider Daniel Rickman, saying Cruise is in the mix for the bad guy role. It got fresh air on the Ringer's big picture podcast recently. The project still under wraps, but Dan Gilroy penned the script from an earlier draft by Eric Warren's singer. Kaczynski and Dylan Clark are producing. Word is Michael B. Jordan and Austin Bother could lead as the undercover cops. Miami Vice kicked off as a TV hit back in 1984, running five seasons.
