Todd McShay: Rams to Grab Receiver, Lemon or Cooper

He likes Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr., or USC's Mackay Lemon as top fits to pair with Puka Nakua and the 33-year-old Devante Adams. These picks would add a younger, cheaper, and more explosive option compared to what Cooper Cup brought late in his Rams days. McShay sees them delivering big impact right away, similar to what teams hope from top rookies. Mock Drafts mostly agree, with consensus boards showing just one receiver, Carnell Tate, going before the Rams pick. Mackay Lemon pops up in about 28% of those mocks for Los Angeles, while Arizona State's Jordan Tyson might slide to 16th overall. Some question of Lemon overlaps too much with Nakua style, especially since the Rams need someone to step up outside after Adams. Still, the team has no huge holes left, having filled spots at cornerback already.
