In this episode I describe what I encountered while trying to reshaft a new to me set of Honma CL-708 irons into non regular flexed shafts.  After a trip to the range at Sacramento National,  I drove home hopefully discussing all of the points that I wanted to discuss as it related to what it was like to change ferrules as well as change shafts in a set of "soft metal" blades.  I am learning that Honma clubs from the mid 1980's are not forged as I thought they were.
