About this episode
We sell and support commercial indoor agriculture HVAC equipment and controls in grow rooms across the country. In this podcast, I share three prevalent mistakes regarding equipment sizing and grow room HVAC equipment selection.
The most common mistakes are missing the required dehumidification load, not understanding the room sensible heat ratio, and selecting off-the-shelf air conditioning equipment vs. commercial grow room air conditions, aka grow room dehumidifiers.
Plants are not people; load calculations for Cannabis grow rooms are different than typical commercial applications. Mistakes are common and costly; hopefully, this video will offer some insight into some issues to be aware of.
Grow room HVAC calculations require specific attention to the plant quantity, water rates, lighting schedule, lighting types, and many other factors unique to indoor grow factifies.
