This Sacred Day

Not long ago we talked about "Today I will". Today I would like to talk about the sacredness of one day. The sacredness of what you can do in one day. In one moment, I think we get so wrapped up around the chain of trying to figure out everything. The next day, the next day, the next day. In the rooms of recovery, they call that future tripping.

We do it too. Those of us that aren't in recovery, we do future tripping. We think "What if? what if?" but we usually say, "What if, oh my gosh, what if it doesn't work?" But I want us to start saying, "What if I can do it? What if I can make a difference? What if the things I do today are going to make my world better and everyone else's world better?"

This is a sacred day and it's the only day we have. So we might as well use it. First I'd like to share today's affirmation. Then I'm gonna tell you a little bit of a story, a little bit about recovery and things like that that are on my heart today.
