About this episode
As a leading voice in the movement to demand accountability for the maltreatment of nursing home residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, Janice knows the time and dedication needed to amplify stories that are often overlooked.
Janice is joined by the Regional Support Supervisor for the Hudson Valley of the Young Adult Institute (YAI), Ken Reedy to discuss how he’s raising awareness about the struggles the disabled community faced because of the pandemic and the lack of action being taken to amend these issues.
Ken joins Janice to highlight his advocacy and talk about the projects he is working on to provide new experiences for people living with disabilities.
