The Visually Impaired, Workouts & Postpartum Depression, and The Trolley Run w/ Alex Olson
About this episode
Click here for info on the Trolley Run
Alex Olson works with students with visual impairments and their families to provide supports and services to ensure they have access to education/therapy. I provide evaluations to help families learn about their child's vision and how they can use their residual vision. I work within the community to spread awareness about visual impairments and work to advocate for inclusion for those with all disabilities.
Alex's wellness has been a journey! Since having two babies, she has lost about 60 pounds in the last 2 years! She's always been active, dancing while growing up, competitively in high school. Alex was also a zumba instructor for 12 years. After having kids, she hit that COVID slump. but got into 9round and her life changed for the better! Wine wise, she used to work at a wine shop in her home state of Florida! And used to do wine tours/wine pairings on a sail boat. She enjoys wine, but definitely in moderation.
