The Tweet that launched the Curio Cards NFT Rediscovery
About this episode
Curio Cards are the first art NFT on the Etherium blockchain. Launched on May 9, 2017, they predate the CryptoPunks by one month.
Harry's Tweet was principally responsible for teaching people how to buy Curio Cards during their rediscovery on March 13, 2021.
On that day, the cards cost about $5 each. And believe it or not, a full set of Curio Cards (31 cards) just this week sold for more than 100 ETH ($260,000).
We get into how Harry learned about the project.
The crazy timing of the rediscovery, coming less than 24 hours after the rediscovery of MoonCats.
And how many cards Harry bought on that fateful day!
