The TV They Should Have Left on the Curb | Real Ghost Stories

It seemed like the perfect graduate-school find: a free television sitting on the side of the road. It had a few cosmetic issues, but it worked—and for four broke roommates, that was more than enough reason to bring it home.

At first, the TV only changed channels on its own. Then it began turning itself on in the middle of the night. That was unsettling enough.

But before long, strange things started happening elsewhere in the apartment. A bedroom door began opening on its own. One morning, that same door refused to open from the inside, even though nothing appeared to be wrong with the lock. The television was only one piece of a much larger mystery.
