Wow, you can see that? Yeah, yeah, I can see that. Damn, you can go to this body right now. It's a golden fun of an ass, I think. Yeah, it's somebody. It's a bomb, I'm not a leader. Garden animals. I'm a gardener, what does that mean? I don't know. Okay, of course, my dog, of course. Of course, that one's on you. No idea, of course. It's old, maybe shirt. You know, it's crazy as he saw a mutant boxing go-to in the shirt and so I got to have it. This is my dad's old shirt. Oh, it isn't. Don't blame that shit on your day. Your dad will win this shit. Like, I met you there. He doesn't wear it anymore, clearly. Yeah, because he knows what's stupid. No, I'm kidding. I like it. I like it. It's an attention getter. Glad, that's really great. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, I said what I was talking about. Look down, like that's gonna go with boxing gloves. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, right now. What is that? Yeah, who are those? I mean, cause he's posted a parade of goats. Oh shit, I mean, he really doesn't like.
It looks like my, looks like Mahabana Ali wear a goat here. You have like that goat is challenging you. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, you make a sense for him, see. Yeah, what you want to go? Yeah, you want to go to him? Dude, wait, wait. Hey, man. What's fucking looking at him? Yeah, you know, you're not simply in my mind respect to that. I'm being challenged by his shirt, but I'm going to look at it right now They get your boy It's only laundry I'm playing with that Yeah, I'm doing it. I was going on everybody. What's got you a goat that? Right there that day I'll go I mean because he got he got one hand raised like he'd ready to do something The man you turn your hair Turn that shit inside So I'm ready made fuck it up like it's like a man to sure right now being challenged. Oh
Folks are about the delay today. I don't know what happened internet went out and Just stay it on to the side to come back on just went on took a break. Yeah, the internet went over Starbucks for a little bit Some coffee hungry. I read a book. I was over there before I get came here. The internet was terrible there Oh, then you can go to the right Starbucks clearly. I didn't yeah mom was at another one He's probably mine. He's just like I'm taking a break. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, oh, I know who ain't taking a break Mojo Mojo on their boy Mojo's on the case. Shit man Mojo Mojo's running things around here man. I was cast off fighting outside door was closed, but Mojo heard it and he ran and banged up Yeah, that's what I told cats. It said man. Yeah, when you ever learn don't maybe come out there Yeah, they were out in the middle of the yard. Mojo heard it Was it your cats or just no, it's my cat. Okay. No, I mean then when they said other cat. He don't fuck with that cat
No, I got another cat over here Mojo knows better mess. We got a one-eyed cat that comes over here Yeah, Mojo's like yeah, Mojo like now Hey, you're right now Mojo there's a window that's open And he just see shit and he'll just stand and just stare and just wait for people just walk by I wish something Would I wish somebody will walk by people yeah people like a block down, you know walking their dogs walking their kids I don't know what he doing Keep it moving nothing to see here I don't like you'll see women walking the stroller by our old women, you know walking by like getting the exercise And they just and they of course I can't hear Mojo because he's way down the fucking cul-de-sac. Yeah, yeah
But but I guarantee if they were walking the moment they look this way And Mojo went to get his uh Get his shots. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man And both these animals are I can tell you how to know they get fat Because they didn't feel that needle at all So you're gonna tell us like a dog diabetes or something no no, they they're not both of them. He's got a little padding on them. So now yeah Yeah, yeah, let me know when you stick it in doctor. Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, cuz I but I took Took my animals to the vet on Friday took Mojo and Pixie and I and Mojo been big, you know So and he's actually lost weight I give some people actually come to the house and I'm like oh shit looks a little little little thinner But you take them to the vet. You don't feel that needle at all. They give him a little cheese whiz and that's all The nettle process cheesy and they stick him. He don't feel another
Pixie say I don't know where there's a I know cuz she's smaller because she's not as fat Are you used to be not as fat, but they stick her? And it just and it gets sad because when Because she she cries immediately when she gets touched by that needle and then when it's going in she just She cries so much. She just gives up That is the saddest man Yeah, cuz cuz you just stop man. That's you know, I just why I can never be cruel to animals Just because the sound they make and she just And I was like and man last time that happened ages and I couldn't stand it it broke my heart I don't I almost brought me to tears. So this time I took the dogs of the vet I had I turned my head and I couldn't I couldn't watch when I knew they're gonna stick her man and And they when they did it they like listen hey, we're done. All right They like this dog is acting better than you. They like I know You about the Yeah, I was like I can't watch my baby go and they look at you big ass
You're worse in this dog ray. We're done She took this better than you did You're back like you the one getting shot Go back at their hands of my dog I was in that way because I like the holder, but I can't but I can't look because I was I know when I see her in pain. I can't look. So yeah, they they they held her and they make the stuck and gave her some cheese too And she I guess I don't know like I said both I'm greedy and both I'm love food so much. I guess they both fat Cheesy. Oh, yeah. Yeah, she processed cheese and fix anything Yeah, so I guess I guess I guess you got a little fat back back there too now. Yeah, which is good now You know, that's one of the benefits of being fat. I have to see him pain no more But they told me so you better you better make these dogs lose weight Brain is damn They said about both of them. Yeah, yeah, I mean, I know she's a little rounder. Yeah, I mean the funny thing is I've been Feeding them less. Yeah, you've been getting them the expensive food and only give them a tablespoon of it. Yeah, I know what it is
She don't like the She I know that's not good. She eats the cat food. She don't want to share she don't want a dog food She don't want um She don't want dog food period like I get good dog food She put dog food period. I won't cat. Yeah for a dog cat food is like eating captain crunch. Yeah, it really really it is Yeah, so you have some I'm never this time when people say nothing against you, but a people have said yeah when a dog eats it tastes like and I'm like How do you know oh well? Yeah, it's people smarter than me, okay? Okay? Okay, cuz that's some people who said Yeah, you know the reason why a dog likes to eat cat turds is because it tastes like snickers to them. I was like I said, you know what? That is very specific. Yeah, I ain't saying all that I just know it's more like junk food because it doesn't have the nutritional value that they need that For whoever said they did not say tastes like candy and I think tastes like that It tastes like a bread. It tastes like snickers. I'm not like how the fuck do you know? I said man, you just gave yourself what you mean catch it. I just know a lot of cats
Yeah, you know cats are right Yeah, right what they shitting your mouth. Yeah, this is I was like how the fuck you know snickers And what money went behind the research for this if it did happen money Yeah, he's like, I'm just curious one day and you'd be surprised. Yeah, it's a delicacy It's gonna look up the sources of this information. It's gonna be a post on forechan or something There's no there's no research on this Somebody somebody somewhere has tried it. Yeah Somebody research when they picked that shit up is him Taste like snickers. Yeah, wait. Why do you like this so much? Let me see it You can taste the nougat Somebody who trolled us somebody probably man tastes like snickers. Go ahead try. Yeah. Hey wait a minute Like no man trust me. You won't believe it. You gonna be shocked. Yeah, I guess I won't believe it Really, okay, man Shocked though, right
Yeah Man try this you look angry right now Hungry grab a shit. Yeah, hungry. You get a cat turn I wasn't that if you don't believe me look it up somebody said tastes like snickers. I'm gonna say hey mom come here Now I know that's when she wants to get a pierce you go and sit in the corner come here Look like a blare witch project Come here mom It's just dark crime. Yeah, she took her She took her to cut shots well the other day They say yeah, she's gonna look chunky. She got fat pockets now. Oh, yeah, yeah. I know what it is. I feel them less At night, but I keep giving them snacks during the day. Oh come on Yeah Yeah, I keep giving her snack cuz he begs for it night and it's hard for me to turn it down But I guess I'm gonna have to now cuz yeah, you know, I was fueled with that my thousand pound life
Oh, yeah, yeah, get food themselves. There's somebody's giving it to him. Yeah, yeah There a thousand pound life for animals There probably is some damn obese dogs Yeah I saw an episode of my 100,000 pound like whatever they have and and reality TV really is Fucked up man, cuz I mean it's fake all around. I was I was at somebody's house a couple of nights ago and they were watching Where was that but they were watching that uh Some reality TV show reality. I was age gap. Okay. Oh, I heard about that in one. It's where like you don't know the age Well, it's just no, it's just that no, you know, it's I mean it's mostly women who are Much older and getting younger guys. Okay, and And they had and what they do is the sometimes the guys are younger are the the person that dating is younger than The older person's kids. Oh, you know what I mean? So they you get somebody who's like 57 years old late 40s
And they got like damn near 30-year-old kids and they bring in like 21-year-old And then they then they get the reaction from the actual kids And of course they're actually what the fuck you don't yeah But they but when they do it they have them uh man the sound is just as nice In the in the videography is just as pristine and it's like this ain't no fucking reality TV Y'all y'all would not get this you would not get this greater sound Cuz you can you can see the people in the background being like extras in a movie. No, they ain't talking about nothing You see people in the background You're doing some Tyler Parrish it frank and empty glasses and it is like all right, you know when you would go in public It's never that clean, right They would get if they were sitting in public you get all kind of assholes coming to my heart and they're like hey doing all that bullshit Yeah, well, well plus There's a whole camera crew there. Yeah, so how you gonna have an honest sincere discussion with a whole camera crew Yeah, yeah exactly so the my point is
All this is manufactured and they do this and they and they they amp things up for entertainment value are They do it just to you know Sometimes oversell the point. Yeah, I mean you see all you see him watching He's like oh they come missing missing in between those scenes somebody went like okay do that again Just a little bit more and that was real good just like you did just like a little extra. Yeah, okay I can do that well on this thousand pound life whatever They talked about what this one dude was eating And they did this dude wrong and I'm and I'm you can go find this yourself I might have a tendency to exaggerate sometime, but I didn't exaggerate like these motherfuckers did They put they so they they talked about what this dude ate on a daily basis. I might have seen this clip So I'll be able to tell you if you're right. Well, they okay, so they they as he's talking They cut to him actually eating And he has to play the front of him and it's all in slow motion. He's like That's like now you know you know this man don't eat like that and in the backer any here
I just only feel happy when I'm eating Yeah, you know you're you're right Yeah, you know on a daily basis. I might eat a whole chicken. I might eat a hot dog I may do slice of pizza and then and then they cut to the dude and everything he's saying It's all on one plate like he eats all that shit for like one meal Like a fucking Scooby-Doo Shaggy play the sum you know, why don't you just put that shit between two slice of bread and just And just he didn't you don't find this amusing at all Mark looking at me like I'm the like I'm the one that fuck No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I'm just thinking about like that movie the whale and I was like, yeah, the same thing they were doing there Just just just showing them just picking out. Oh, like come on. Oh the whale The the whale was proper etiquette I mean they made this dude look like a fucking animal. Uh-huh. They put a plate. They're like I said he put a slum ocean He's just a giving off
Yeah, I'm like man, this is this really just y'all are wrong for this shit I mean, it's one thing to manufacture an image, but to make this man look like you know, he don't eat like that But everybody they want everybody think like oh look at this. You know people with a what are eating when they're eating this order They eat like goddamn rabbit animals Like he's fucking like like like like some 20-day later shit or something Like you know when you watch movies and zombies attack. Yeah. Yeah, that's what he looks like Eyes were all big just eating sloppy Part of the food dripping down the mouth before it even gets inside. Yeah Yeah, somebody said some of them really do eat like that. What's man? You know what that some skinny people eat like that And on me like every fucking fat person he like that. Somebody said what some are really do you like that so And you get that information from what watches reality shows I can tell you right now. You know who said I would tell you the nastiest eaters out there And then I didn't fat the nastiest eaters out there are these damn hips to dudes with these long-ass beers
These fucking dudes eat and don't care what gets caught in that hair Don't let him eat corn You get all kind of yellow dots up in there man I've seen yeah people with I've seen people who are fit Not just skinny fit and sit up there just be eating with that long-ass beard and at the end of it is just half the meal It's fucking in the hair. Okay. I you know what I find it so nasty. I don't eat with people You got a beard don't go and bite me the lunch Understood now your beard is okay. Okay. Yeah, you're bearding a lot when I'm catching Not yet. Not yet, but you grow in the big old But I'm ZZ Thompson. Yeah, I had a friend who grew out his beard and I'd be like you know he got food there He's like why would I stop while I'm eating? I'm gonna pick it out after okay, so I never told them again Okay, that's the kind of shit. I can't do say why would I do that? I don't know because it's fucking gross man. Yeah I'm looking at this Yeah
You eat like a baby The baby is just eat just push that show For some reason you get a beard you just you just assume that that shit is just that to catch all you know you're left over You need a beard bib No, you just need to learn how to fucking eat what you need to you ain't all goddamn child eat like a man I Do not because they it's not just the food is the drink too, man I know I'm piss off some people with beers right now because I'd every person with a beardies that way But I mean with so many people a beard where they drink milk and that just shit just Yeah, just strands like just white trickling down into their beard man soup is the worst. Oh, yeah, and I'm soup too Yeah, the thing I don't know what people do is when they have and I don't get the the fashion appeal is the long mustache Have you guys seen that ever where they have like a long mustache going over their mouth? It's crazy So they they have it like that. Well, yeah, what is twirled? Yeah, but it goes over their lips. It's insane
You know what I haven't seen that yet every time I see this twirl like one of them villains in a cart Yeah, barbershop quartet Like I guess That's some like Well, I'm sure Every time I see them it looks nice. Yeah, we have a guest come on the day with a nicely twirled mustache I ain't never seen it. We're like it's a curto your lips I've asked him about his even habits. That'll be awesome. Yeah, when you when you talk your tongue got a fucking I never know I've never seen that before I by the way I'm also saying all this shit because I have beard envy because I can't grow a beard like that Just my shit grows out patches. So I see people with a nice beard. I just I just talk shit cuz I'll dare you. Yeah, yeah, I just talk shit because I'm I'm petty and it's a YouTube Yeah, sometimes it grills out. I'm looking motherfucker. Yeah, yeah, no, yes Yes, get them
Oh folks, how y'all doing today? This is the Sunday services where we come in and We do some catch up on stuff from the week. You know, we might have missed a movie We might have missed a shot. We might have missed a big event or something needs to be talked about that happened That was pretty big and that was newsworthy, but hey Well, uh getting to that in a little bit before we go any further. I was in the period getting so caught up in beards and And getting so caught up in yeah, you jerk threatening me I've got to talk about the chat fam starting the OG chat and no side bitches. How y'all doing today? What's going on everybody? What's up? What is going on G Colby? Oh look at this got those white girls tied up on these Negro showed up Ready and not here we come Oh, my look at that. Where are we are we on the rollercoaster? What the hell is this? Let's say we are The first podcast on a route on a moving roller coaster. That is us y'all Oh, look at that man. I doubt if we are the first Yeah, there's plenty of influences who would have done that and by the way we are not the first because you never did that shit
Oh, yeah, that's the other The AI right there Well, good to have y'all though. Good to have y'all here. Let me go and talk to the side bitch. We got Luigi over here DT dark slayer Furious Kirk. Oh, you know that the wicked Billy of the West We could Billy West man so There's a There's there's a story that I'm sure Billy's gonna talk about. I'm not I'm not gonna say the thing We're talking about it on Tuesday, but I went out and hung out with Billy. Oh, yeah on On what was it Thursday Friday? It got weird Yeah, he got into some argument with some chick. Oh nice. Yeah, I can't wait to hear this and then a He talked to one of the one of the regulars at the bar friend of mine that I talked to every nine then He was perplexed by Billy Something happened with it and it's not what anything bad. He just he that guy just looked at me like what what the hell just happened
So yeah on Tuesday I Wednesday probably Wednesday Yeah, we'll talk about what happened with Billy at the bar Can't wait Yeah, yeah Let me see here. Oh, man So this let me see y'all so today. I don't know. Do we make the level three? I don't think so show me we did not We did not make it you're not at the top. Oh There we go Level three we did completed level three. Oh my god. Look at that. I would have I would have cheated y'all on a hype train My man wasn't here. I would have just listened y'all in the chat. Look at that. We did green boys here She made just soldier blue. Oh, hey, it's Mike. Hey, Mike. How you doing? Kid did did is here Oh, toast it evenly On both sides Where's Wallace boy you are here. How many times I got to tell you that?
Haas aglorious is here and Justin Perea hey Justin before we going further. I want to think just to help me out with something So I'll tell y'all I'm trying to experiment with some animation, but I want AI to help assist with it So Justin is actually creating an interface for me. Oh try to do this uh to try it to try to in in between The key drawings and animation so he I talked to him the day and We're going to be trying to get that together try to make it To where it recognizes just my drawings and that way if it wants to do in-betweens or Even help out with layouts anything like that. It'll be closer to the style that we're using. Okay. It's that's to avoid what we just talked about sure That's to avoid copyright Because everybody who just did I just told Martin something right here and he didn't even know this something I'm you probably knew this or maybe you didn't I don't know But I was just telling these guys and a lot of y'all might not know this
I didn't really know this until recently But if you are doing I mean if you're creating stuff with AI and you're just putting in a prompt and that's it and letting AI make all of the The the the the images are the content then when you do that I just and correct me from wrong y'all but I had just heard that that is That is that that's public domain When whenever you're producing because what you're using is all this all the other stuff that AI pull from that and just out there to train itself, right? So that's why you have people now who are creating programs with AI that is more tailored to Your style are your your content you're writing your pictures your images whatever Adobe just put out something like that Whereas Adobe Adobe as an AI program called Firefly, but they're now trying to promote something where It it's it's it's more about creating
Original images based on what you input to it. Okay, interesting because I know Firefly they're they're big thing was like look It's AI, but it's all our own stock footage and stuff. We own we're not pulling from everywhere else. Yeah people like yeah, right. Yeah But what you say that's that's pretty good Yeah Yeah, so yeah, you know, that's a lot of people are trying to do this now where they They because like I said is there y'all it's gonna be it's gonna be used It's gonna be useful production is gonna be used for a lot of Office assisting it's gonna be useful a lot of things um, you know, I'm trying to see if I can use it to actually Kind of help with the process of animation, which is very long mm-hmm and arduous. Yes. Yes, but We'll see how they go anyway. I just want to thank Justin. I for help me with that and creating that for me You know that's a brilliant. Yeah, I think I met him when he came through for one of the 12 other streams. Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah, no, he was not what the 12. No, no, no, no, that's not him. Okay. No, I see came to one of our shows before with his wife
But yeah, Justin Maria nice guy or thinking for help him and helping us out Anyway, well, let me see we got here for y'all today Let me see. Let me see Oh Billy get hit by that train again. I love it. Billy gets run over that train and gets right back up a start laughing again Oh Oh No, look at the power One time the day We bring him up very soon He's gonna play a game with us today Yeah, yeah, we got a game one
I do you best start playing games with me Yeah, y'all we got one major thing Got something else and we tell you what it is And how Scroll y'all and pick out you today the review for invincible season 4 You don't want to talk about how The show has improved a nice prove Should you watch tonight? Should you start watching after all it is for seasons now you probably Don't tell you about that Did you see all six six baby Also, I know I talked about ready and about part two here. I come. We're gonna be doing that for
The members the members. Yeah, as people the YouTube members and the patrons members Oh, look at anybody that go along You can go look like they're going in shirt. That's why man Damn black ass Phillip on your shirt, but yeah Oh, folks, they can you push that door in for We get to this stinger right here. Thank you, sir. I appreciate that Dr. Marola musical we just did that last week I was a couple of weeks ago a couple of weeks ago two weeks ago. Yeah, if I wasn't busy I would have come I love cats. I love that You know what? I'm kind of in love with that movie too for all the wrong reasons the boys. Yeah Yes, but I have a lot of admiration for him It's an incredible disaster when you said you were doing the roast. I almost told you I was like I have the blue ray of it and it has a commentary from the director and he's just like man everyone's fucking
No, they don't go for you It's good. It's so funny You have to see it to believe it. Yeah, nobody can tell you. Yeah No, I really do think it's an incredible feat. I mean All joking aside I give them I give them credit for even trying I mean because you never know No, fuck that they shouldn't only have cancer It's a legendary thing like it's it's been on the road for years. It's a huge brand. Yeah, oh, I know the now There's a difference between people dress like cats obvious costumes and do it on stage Between these damn mutants run it through the apocalypse streets Yeah, I don't look right. Yeah, the giant streets, right? Yeah, I don't look right y'all that looks frightening Yeah, but I actually man. I watch this actually love that movie now of it's a terrible film But it cuz it just doesn't translate and they try too hard to make it translate But I mean, I just I love that movie man
Despite the makeup to the cats makeup you keep losing the fact that they're cats. Yeah Yeah, they look eight they look like werewolves demons Yeah, chupacabras. I look like anything but cats damn mutants Yeah This is not no, this is terrifying It's very special. I love it. It's some I love the way the movie just puts this makes you just feel unease the moment starts Music is like kind of haunting. I think it sounds like a carnival. That's haunting. It's an evil carnival That's what I say. It's like evil clown music I didn't get the damn mutant animals coming up here Looking like they just not like like supposed to be dancing. It looks like they just like Like they came from the depths of hell Ready to feed. I don't know if you guys touch on this in the roast But it's it's insane out the gate like the opening shot of the moon being a cat eye or something. Oh, yeah Yeah, we talk about that. But yeah, it's like not the humans are dead
Yeah, this is what's left of civilization. Yeah, and they've come out Yeah from the ashes rose The mutant cats and dogs if you ever listen to there's a movie called rock and rule And it's an old movie and it's just about as weird and bad as this and actually that movie has an amazing animation Incredible animation actually, but the beginning of the movie They didn't know what the fuck they were doing and they started out the description of making that movie sounds like cats They said there was a nuclear war that happened everything was destroyed From the ashes rose the the dogs and cats that mutated in the humanoids and I was like oh that's fucking cats Yeah, yeah, yeah, look it up y'all I was like, you know what if they did it they should combine they just took they should have just taken the narration for the beginning of rock and rule and put on this movie and it probably made more sense Yeah, man We need a retro review of rock and rule. Yeah, you know what we should because Actually love that movie. I wouldn't I wouldn't roast it
Because the production isn't is incredible the music is actually kind of good But it's a weird movie man. It's they they It's it's one of those movies where they Got so caught up in the animation. They lost track of the story. Yeah, cuz the story changed throughout that's why I started out being a movie about A nuclear war with mutated animals that somehow transformed into After they mutated then we sent it on a rock star in his band that wanted to make it and then they got approached by a legendary Agent rock star who wanted to get his career started again by Conjuring a demon That would inhabit a sacrificial soul people this is They they they would so caught up in the artwork. They just lost Fucking track of whatever they would do it and it just mutated into something else. Do you miss movie rock and rule? I never saw it all the way through. I would always see pieces of it uh and What you're saying sounds familiar But I'm I just hold my hand because it sounds like yeah, you're like you say it's weird
It's like was it always planned to be weird and it sounds like no, but it just kind of went that way it they so if I'm correct I'm cuz I love this movie Because the animation is so great sounds like a cool world situation where it just they got out of hand Yeah, just for in love with the animation. I love yeah, that's a love this movie. It's it's the artwork is incredible I wish that this movie hadn't This is this is a this is a great lesson of make sure your story if you're telling a story Make sure your story is is right make sure some people to see because if your story is bad No one will give a fuck how much you how much effort you put behind our work sure sure That's gonna be the Pixar thing where we're like we got to nail this story down solid. Yeah, we start animation Because it's expensive. Yeah, they've talked about it. How the like yeah, we were two years in a wall and you're like This kind of sucks and they just rewrote it Yeah, man Let me see here when you were talking about this though. I didn't catch the title I was like it's Corey fucking this up and talking about rockadoodle right now. What is this? No, no
Cuz I was like cats is kind of like rockadoodle. I guess Yeah, but I've never done this rock rock. Yeah, let me let me play the trailer for you rock and rule So this is a movie from the 80s and it worked years on this and I've looked at production and it said that they Win old budget the story kept changing and After it came out, I think I only showed in like a couple of theaters. Oh, yeah, before it became an underground hit sure Yeah, that's on a cable Yeah, because the movie is actually now it has a big cult following and I'm happy about it because our work is great But that story is tell it's terrible man. It's just you know, doesn't make any sense at all But here's a trailer. We actually did a watch for the horror And A lot of people get this come they get it mixed up with another movie that came out years ago called heavy metal They're not the same, but here's the here's the trailer Good band heart music the best of times it could have lasted forever
Oh Rock and rule the journey to world with a cosmic forces of music Magic Knowledge a collide and being led to the beast From another dimension The beauty songs by debilary The beast songs by you read a datey partner the beat songs by That's probably gonna be some people after they watch this What But man, it's it really is an incredible film from a production standard and even men is so weird like if you just want to watch something different
You could take the weird story and just say hey, you know what it's just unconventional Sure, it looks like a Disney asset trip with those like animal people at the beginning there Yeah, well animators love anime animals. That's true. You know, so that's I think that's one of the reasons why they that happened with this I think it's start out as an animal story like it's gonna be you know immune somehow these just start saying a rock and roll It became a rock opera after that. Yeah, they kind of look like who people from yeah, yeah, I can see that yeah, I mean is there anything in it that really like Goes back to the actual apocalypse No, they just make that so the world they exist in they make certain references like When the band makes it big They're gonna go to not radio city hall, but radio active city hall, you know, okay Yeah, so it's this little jokes and easter eggs about you know, they live in a post-nuclear war world. Yeah Mostly with puns and things like that, but yeah, it's nothing. I mean, I just wonder if that was like not part of it at first
And then they kind of you know ret content and to be in the post-apocalyptic. Yeah, who knows then maybe me You know like maybe it's just supposed to be this animal world and somebody said like what this doesn't make any sense They could when we make a mutant since day because nobody's gonna understand this They could have made this in the future and made them humans. This whole mutant thing has nothing to do with this in it on And I like I don't know why they did that's why I said I think start as one thing and then working to another. Yeah, so yeah, sounds typical Yeah, the poster was really cool though says of the top sound you can see in the movie you can feel the beauty the beast and the beat I love that yeah, yeah, you know you man you like that I think I would that looks right. Oh, this is weird like you Yeah Who's not weird at all? Yeah, why don't you go back to drawing your fucking mice I think I will May have him sing rock and roll and live after nuclear war Um, yeah, y'all y'all should check it out. It's been on it's it's we might do a retro review for it
I'm not willing to do but I know a lot of people grew up just Uh, they just love They love this movie. They saw it on like on HBO or television on it showed somewhere Yeah, and people like what the hell is this and then they end up watching it, you know, so maybe when Taylor Swift or someone feels like having a concert movie Would be like hey, here's a retro review of a concert like thing. Yeah. No, we'll see. We'll see. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it was made by nil vana This is this this movie nil vana made a lot of satin more in the cartoons and they're from Canada And they This this movie almost uh, bankrupt the studio, I think And uh, you know, I don't know. I think Saturday morning saver But yeah, yeah, there you go a little little something a lot of people best just to talk about this before so maybe one day maybe one day Uh, let's see here. I think I got the full video out here So Yeah, this looks crazy. So I saw this and I thought that this was something That happened a long time ago and it did But now it's resurfaced and it's making the rounds and making the news and Some y'all probably know who I'm about to say, but it should boy. Oh JT up here. Look at it looking like episode of cops
I mean, that's what it is. That's what it is except the cops on assholes and this one boy Guilty you looking in the eyes right now. They don't need to look. Yeah, I know right there. He does, but they they keep trying with him They they this is how you know that's that that cops have a celebrity bias because if this was you if this is anyone Oh, yeah, yeah, you already look in the head. Yeah, let's go We don't have time for this he must have been really messed up and then carry him away because they give him every chance right now We are trying okay It's not just that the cops will Give you passes because they love celebrities a lot of times. They don't want the attention to yeah Yeah, or the paperwork other paperwork, but it's if teen you know it gets out the TMZ and then any chances I think I see the arresting officer was you know sometime not all the time But they they just don't want the hassle. They're like brother. We are giving you every chance to get the fuck out of here

I can see the bags the drunk bags on his eyes But he's gone man. Why are they still messing with him? Why are we still doing this? See tight rope walking in there Yeah, I will demonstrate this like you're doing right now like this One two three all the way up tonight He's like oh Jesus That's a that's another drunk move when you know you ain't gonna maybe like you're sorry I mean I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna go through with this one Fuck I mean, maybe I some muscle miracle. I might make it through

This is gonna be healed to toe so you're gonna be putting your heels as you're going On this by your side while you're doing this you're gonna walk down to your toes Now that's you know slow down wait a minute. That's a whole that's a lot of information process So left foot right for you know wait a minute hold on man You're doing a lot of That's not to algebra right I The drunk explanation Yeah, this is this is the drunk explanation when your hands do this and you still swim
I was just Taking my friend home and I was on my way to yeah, okay Yeah, yeah, I'm I'm not Completing any sentences here all them drunk long time. All right, so the waiting again This to let you know I'm now look up serious When you got drunk jam And as always I was just doing something. Yeah, I was just driving following my friends back to the house So I'm like where are they? Yeah, how come they didn't drive you? Yeah, you were just drinking is what you was doing What were you doing? I guess In the car somebody said video number two is even crazy I didn't know there was I didn't know this was a trilogy. Okay. I saw one long video. Okay
Yeah Yeah, cuz I don't know what's in video too, but there's a point when they're like all right He's like how about doing a breathalyzer. He's just like Justin Timberlake is morphing into another person See these are faces I've never seen on Justin Timberlake cuz in the other one Yeah, he waves off the breathalyzer and I was like all right, we gotta go and I don't you know He's just so drunk he's being polite, but somebody his friend or his manager coming out you guys are doing this stop Stop he's Justin Timberlake you know who he is come on bring it sexy back stop Yeah, no taking a minute no stop. Yeah, okay, whatever like like she she makes it cringey, you know like With that you know who he is. Yeah, yeah, we know he is drunk You like the end of thriller ah
You look like you know Yeah You think you don't mean just in Timberlake I brought sexy back This fool, this is what, this is, this is how Dr. Betel's before he turns to the whole thing. You don't want to make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm shit face. Who me? Justin Timberlake? You should feel in my rap. That's his fool. He's turning to a creature. Yeah, but let this man go. I tried to warn you. And part of here, I don't know. The details obviously, it was when we stopped him. I part of here observed you. Something that shocked my ocean. Sorry to the traffic stop. I believe you did an impairment. Did a series of routine tests on you, right? Feel the body tests. Okay?
You performed poorly on those. Okay? Poorly. You failed. I know. I was like, come on, man. I'm already getting thrown in jail. You can take my hand. You can pass the goddamn thing. It's got cups on. I think he knows he's fucked. Yeah. It's just, you know, between the two cops, the one being super patient. I'm trying to give him a break. And other one was just like, like you say, you're just like, man, fuck this. Come on. I didn't make a car. I tried it. And I hear all night. I didn't make a car. I'm going to give it to you. You want to dance? Yes. And the car. You want to break six? Bring it back. Bring it back. Let's go. Self of his observations. You aren't asking. Okay. So you were under arrest for DWI. He ain't comprehending none of this. So how'd I do? Can't do it. Make up taste. I'm going to do over right. That's two out of three. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Awesome. Well, we're asking if you understand what was just right to you. Yeah. I am. Perfect. And I'm going to, what I'm going to do I'm going to reread this again. We're going to go through the rest of it. But this. No, I got you. I got you. At this point, it asked your initials. If you don't want to initial, you're not required to. You can't be forced to. And I'll reread right. I will read the rest of it. Okay. Will you initial or no? No. Okay. No. I'll read the rest of it. Please. Thank you. Well, these are every stage of, of, of drunkenness. You know, you start out, you start out trying to be proper. Then you start out trying to explain. You pray to God. And now you're belligerent. I assign a god. I'm all right. Yeah. You hear from my lawyer. You have. You haven't heard the last of Timberlake. Yeah. I know. I was like, would you take you right? No. Yeah. The more you, the more you refuse, the more you think that's going to get you out of trouble.
No. It don't work like that. Should I've been drunk, belligerent, too? You've everybody's been there. Yeah. You know, you get, you get to a point. You just like, no, man. It's like, I'm right. Oh, y'all wrong. Um, no. Do you consent or refuse to the chemical test? No. I'm not doing the chemical test. Like, guys, I don't mean all right. Like, I understand. We believe you to be. This is brought to you by Timberlake Vision, right? It's lost. So that's what we're seeing his point of wonder. same. Part of the input to alcohol. I'm operating in water video, right? Okay, but I don't mean I didn't say you did, right? I wouldn't make some mistake or two in your life, right? You had to have to drink. You drove the car, All right? Okay. The Twitter, you know. I'm not here to dunge it.
Just we got job today. I appreciate your understanding. By the way, I appreciate that you're doing that. I appreciate that. Thank you. What was the...what was the traffic violation? I missed. Oh, I observed. Really? All of them. Oh, here. That's another one where you try to make small talk and explain and say, you might look at other mad at this point. Uh-huh. So what exactly is...what point did I miss? You know, man, you in. You in handcuffs. Whatever you did, that's in the pants. Well, if you start out by running the stop sign. Okay, so if I pay that fine, then can we just let this go? Yeah. Yeah. So, I don't know, man. I mean, on the one hand, you know, we see celebrities are just like people too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's one thing. Like I said, it's one thing to be tipsy or kind of drunk. He's very, very drunk. Yeah. Yeah. Didn't it come out that he wasn't just drunk? Like, wasn't he also doing blow? Yeah. That was part of the new story at the time. Yeah. Well, see, man, he should not have an excuse. He should be kind of be sobered up a little bit. I know. You know, people do blow. It's a sober up. Yeah. Yeah. He must have done the blow at the beginning of the night. I mean, don't you know, he never seen flight flight. Yeah. This is a Washington got drunk off his ass. And then he took. He called his man again cocaine and he was just as eloquent. And in uh in and uh in a fourth and next day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, you're all first eye drunk right now. Yes, I'm drunk right now. Just just so I just had enough friends. Iず而已. The police stop at the stop sign and then while you're driving. and you failed to keep right on numerous occasions. So you're a great way to start over. Sorry. That was my time. You failed to stop at the stop sign
and then while you're operating the motor, you failed to keep right on your side of the roadway and you continue to. Now the opposite is just doing this because he has to, you know, he's right now, he's like, he's not going to understand any of this. And he's putting on that, I'm serious, paying attention face. I swear. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Justin, yeah, he didn't. I'm trying to understand this. These basic concepts, you're focusing, you're concentrating on the stand, you know. Yeah, yeah, because this is a waste of both that time right now. The cop is like, he's not going to comprehend any of this shit and Justin's in up there looking all serious, trying to get their parents like, I understand everything. Meanwhile, he just, he's already there. He's already there. Right. I mean, he's talking about it, man. We don't want to be, we don't want to be. What'd they say? I don't know. Yeah, he didn't hear it. They said it should be a hubbub. Yeah. You know what? Yeah, it's, it's, you know, hey, man, the only thing that, that is probably and fear anything about this is that there are some, some celebrity that get no punishment when they are.
That's true. Sure. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what it is about Justin Timberleg. Everybody just fucks with Justin Timberleg, man. You think so? Yo, he, yeah, I don't know, man. He's, he's, I think he's just like a guy that's easy to fuck with. I mean, we don't punt. Yeah, I remember he's on punt, and they made him cry. And they made, yeah, he didn't talk about it. Yeah, he just seemed like he's a talking like, yeah, like, you know, like, I think it was cooler than they made a lot of calls on me. And Justin Timberleg is cool, but like, we thought he was on punt and he started crying. He's like, man, you all took my dogs. You met us? Yo, yeah, I remember. Yeah, I said, I came in and said the IRS, because he didn't pay taxes. They're going to take everything, take his house. Yeah. He's out there crying, yeah. Yeah, I don't know, stuff like that in him, you know, like things, things came out about him with Britney Spears. And then the way he was a such a coward with the Janet Jackson thing. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah. Yeah, man, he's punked out on a lot of things. So I think it's easy for them to just come in there and just mess with him. He just seemed like a dude that's just, that's just fuckable. Yeah, a lot of people, because I see a lot of people looking at
and just laughing, like Justin Timberleg. Yeah, he's going to happen to, like, nobody, like, he really hasn't done anything lately, but people just don't feel they need to get his back. Yeah. I wonder what that's about. Man, I just don't think, I like he's obviously, you know, and you know, he's going to have a diehard fans. Oh, yeah. Because he threw an on after this and, you know, sold out some shows. Like, I got nothing against Justin Timberleg. He's got his fans, you know, he, he obviously put some great music out there. He's, you know, I mean, the guy's a legend. I mean, he's successful. Yeah. Yeah. I just see people just, you know, they just, they just waiting to just laugh at his ass over this. Like, nobody has his back at all. Right, right, right. Yeah, even I'm watching it. Like I said, I ain't had none against him in watching it. I really felt bad for him. I mean, I mean, he can't really feel sorry for him because there's no way he should have been behind the wheel of a car. It being that drunk. No, it doesn't matter who you are. Yeah. Especially him though, that's bullshit. He could afford to get seven rides back and forth for nothing. Especially when he said he was following his friends. I'm like, are these your friends? Because they should not have left this happen.
Okay. First of all, you probably wouldn't follow nobody. It's probably into something you just said. I was just, but, you know, man, you start lying. Sometimes, you know, you know, I was, man, I had to take a shit. People make up excuses all the time. Just take the attention off of them. Oh, somebody said, watch this until the end. Can you read this? And then in the morning, the drum tank. Oh, they put him in those accommodations, man. It's for everybody. Yeah. Yeah. Man, you know the person that, the next person that like goes to that drunk tank. Man, I was in a drunk tank. That just a timberlake. I smell this cologne on the walls. Man, it might have been drunk, but I could have swat a guy in the cell with me. It was just a timberlake. Man, you crazy. So in the morning, usually around 9.30. Yeah, all night. Oh, you might be just one.
You might be over at the other one in the air. Share the link. It's for him. And again, like I said, you can make a phone call if you would like. You're turning things like that. You're allowed to call right now. If you wish where you can call later. Yeah, I think we're going to make phone call a lot of time. Yeah. You weren't titled to him. Come on, boss. Boy, no matter who you are, no matter how big a celebrity are, you can put in that drug tape. You just stripped of all your dignity. It don't matter if you just a timberlake, you put Michael Jackson in that bitch. When they put you in a damn small cell, you wouldn't take what aluminum toilet up in there. Your dignity is gone. You saw shoulders crumble as arms in front of them. But he says nobody else there. That's true. No, that is very true. Ain't no amount of sex in this. You can bring back to that. Well, you're like he's in time out. Yeah. That's what it looks like, man. A dope timeout. I have his question. So I got to stay here all night.
But I don't want it. Yeah. Well, if you're sober up in an hour, we'll take you back to your car. Really? No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Get him down below the sandwich, man. Yeah, man. And by the way, you saw drunk after a while. I mean, if you've been drunk like this dude before, I have, like I can't say nothing about him. I've passed out on my floor before. You know, you'll be fine. Yeah. All right. Where to about that blanket? You ain't going to feel numb when you have passed out. Like now, concrete. I don't know. Just ain't like any top out. Ain't getting that thing about what you did yet. I know. So wake up several times. I feel like. Wait. I'm still here. Ain't shut the door. Don't you hear? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. That's just a sample that shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You say so. I mean, maybe you can make a video like Afro, man. No. No. Afro, man. Yeah. Afro, man. Yeah. First of all, he ain't got no, Afro, man. He's gotten a little, Afro, that little two-fro, that got a little mat on the head. Yeah. No. No, man. Yeah. And the opposite, the opposite, had no idea it was just a template. Yeah. No, he didn't. When he first tells him, he's like, you're just in Timberlake. So there is for the stops, because you're going to keep beering off to the left, and then you're not stopping at the stop signs. Yeah. Sorry about that. Is this your vehicle? Whose vehicle is it? Yeah, it's just so rental. It's a rental? OK. Do you have any registration with it? Do you know if they could put in the club box? What are you visiting? Yeah, I'm on tour. What are you doing? I'm on the world tour. What? A world tour?
Do what? Um, I'll tell you something. I wish you got me a god damn it. You don't know me? Don't act like you don't know, all right? He probably thought you were going to write the plane mind game, which you're going to play along. A world tour. I'm just going to break. What's your name? He said, he said like a question. I'm just in Timberlake. I'm running for it. Boy, I had all the police officers that could have pulled them over. He had to get the one that did not know me. Like, in my, you could have got some other police officer. I would have been like, oh, my girl loves you, man. Oh, my daughter loves you. Yeah, get the one like, who? I think he just doesn't believe him when he says it. Looking at him, you're like, no, you ain't no god damn it. No, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what they all say.
Yeah, should I have just a Timberlake last week? You were Justin Timberlake? Yeah. You have a license for him? Well, I'm doing it. And then you could put your right foot in front of your house. Really? Look at that license. Oh, you ain't no god damn Justin Timberlake. Oh, shit, you know what? Fuck, bro, what happened? And even then he probably thought your age is just a Timberlake. I mean, he just didn't make it. Also, what is this on this card? Oh. Oh, man. I was just a little. I have a flavor that I need. See, I need. OK. Yeah. I'd be using this driver's license to make lines. Yeah, man. I don't know. That's rough, man. Yeah, it's rough. I think it'll be fine. Oh, yeah. He'll be just fine. I mean, he's two years ago. He went back on tour. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. That's why I'm laughing. Just two years ago. And I'm just looking at this. And let me see here. I'll tell you who he looks like a little bit.
That's why I was looking at him though. He looked crazy. That's why I knew he was drunk. Let me see here. Oh. Yeah. Yeah, that's some parts in here, like, I'm looking at him, man. You know, he kind of looked like a little bit right there, just a little bit. He looked like your boy, Salamonka, from the show. Oh, come on. No. No, no. No. Oh. No, no. No. No. No, no. He looked like Jesus. He looked more like, he looked more like, he looked like, he looked more like it. Who are you? I'm just a tumble. Yeah. He's like, it's a little bell on it right there. Look at to me. Look at him, you have to be like that.
I'm like that. Oh, well, there you go, man, Justin Timberlake, I did not see that. Now I see why I resurfaced, because that was bad. Yeah, because it happened and people heard about it and it was like, oh, it's bad. It's another thing to actually see it go down. Yeah, yeah, again, not to judge anybody, man. Everybody gets drunk. Everybody has a moment. I've done a lot of crazy stuff. I've been drunk probably than he has, but man, you got to take responsibility for getting behind the wheel of a car. That is that his condition was dangerous. Exactly. That could have been a whole lot worse. That's the only reason why I think a little bit less of him. It's like, dude, you're a billionaire. Like, why are you doing this? Yeah. Hey, man, who knows, man? I don't know. I don't know. Because I would think like, got caught up with whatever the party was and got caught up. Yeah, but really quickly, it's like you and his shoes. You have his funding. Would you even fucking drive at that point? Again, it's easy to say I would not, but I don't know the circumstances. I mean, who knows, man?
Who knows? And plus, he's drunk. It's not an excuse. Right, right, right. I'll just say, you're a critical think and kind of goes out the window. It's gone. You're not thinking clearly. You're thinking like it's just, he's probably thinking, I'm not as, he's probably thinking it's not as drunk as he thinks he is. And instead of just calling him Uber or getting somebody to get him a ride or getting his chauffeur or whatever, he's just, he's thinking, well, it's just easy for me to drive myself. I'm not that fucked up. And that's the thing about being drunk like that. A lot of times, sometimes people, they don't know that they're that fucked up. It just hits them. So, I don't know, man, normally, listen, ideally, yes, if I have money, I would call it Uber, but you never know, you know? I'm just saying, again, now I sound like I'm defending them. I'm not, I'm not. But if we did get this great video out of this man, then I'm still a monk of looking at him. Yeah. Yeah. He's so big right now, man. He, like, picks him in the car. Look, he's just a devil like you. Yeah, getting caught like that. You try to get the big Disney eyes. Yeah.
So that's why she's got those reverse sneezes and the snout full of blow. Yeah, exactly, huh? I'm not drunk. What are you doing? What are the whips? Oh, I can tell. You're getting the car. I'm not even going to test you. Yeah, he's not even going to say in the rest of the world. No. I'm telling you, I saw the lies, man. I'm like, you darn brother. I don't know why we went to this old that, like, this is an outlaw video. Why we do that? And the eye say everything. Yeah. Well, especially once they got him out of the car and he just can't stay in one spot. It's like, just put one foot in front of the other. Uh-huh. We're going to put your left foot right in front of here. Oh, what is this? Guys, guys, guys. What is this? They call him white. I just got to see this part right here. This is part, and we'll move on. I got to see this because they call him white. And he's like, what? White? How dare you? He took a fist to be called white.
I remember years ago, Michael, uh, Martin said, somebody to sit this boy down, tell him, you ain't Michael Jackson. Boy, that's his ghost of show. It's nothing to be white, but it would be black. So, man, white, that all the things that happen that night. That's the one that made that of bending him. I'll dare you, sir. White? What are they supposed to put? Black. I think I'm more racially ambiguous, don't you? Nah, Blondie. Apparently, you know, recognize how fucking I am. Would you like us to write down area race? He wants Negro on. That wouldn't have been awesome. If you say it, it's that button nigga down there. Please, please, I object.
Oh, man. Somebody said I think he was kiddin' it. No, he wasn't kiddin' it. He too dropped it, absolutely. He's too drunk to joke around. Yeah. That fool is so drunk he thinks he's black. He really did think he was Michael Jackson for a moment. I dare you, sir. I'd like to file a complaint. I'm up to call me name. Call me out of my race. Someone in the chat just said just a temperate like so. Why end, do you know what that stands for? No, what is it? A young. OK, I was about to say I'm going to see a ghost. No, he ain't young and he ain't a nigga. No, he ain't no number of plais. He's like, he's an old ass white. He's transracial. He's a wolf. No, the wolf is. Oh, no, everybody's making up stuff now. No, no, no, this is something. You know the wolf is?
He was a wolf. White and fucked. Yeah, that's what you want. Stick with that right now. Brother, you had a nut trouble. You had a nut trouble. You had a nut trouble. You don't want black problems now. And I can tell you why because if you've been black, you hasn't been shot at a big long time ago. So don't even put it in there. Well, if I was a white man, they wouldn't treat me like this. I'm not between that blurriness. You can see how offended, not offended, but how hurt he is. White? Wow. How dare you? Look at that. That's that boy. He turned into a kid. And by the way, he's, he's offended by white. He is so white. He turned into a carrot. Look at that. I want to speak to the manager. Are you the sheriff? Where's the commander officer? Well, I'm surprised that other cop did just come over and grab his hand. Look, look, just signed a fucking career.
I'm tired of this shit. I'm tired of this shit. Get your white ass back. Get me the fat. You're the one that wrote down white. You want to be black, all right? Get in that cell, nigga. I know. All right, good. Good for you. Now, you want to be black. We'll come in there and beat your ass like a black freak. You better sit out and be quiet. Shut up. All that goddamn noise. Go to sleep. Here you want black? Turn off the lights, click. Take your black ass to bed. Shut up all that goddamn noise. I have the black ass. No, but you got to black out. Then you got to start somewhere. Not so long. You're just like, I thought so much. Now, do the race. Oh, shit. This guy. Yeah. Harry shut the door. You're not making it better. Come on. He's signing up for you. Hold on. I'm almost done.
Oh my god, man. All right. You might have to animate that. That would look so funny. Maybe a double-click. Oh, well, yeah. Listen, y'all. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. Oh, well, yeah. Listen, y'all. Yeah, man. It's no excuse what he did. I don't care what you're saying. You know, it happens to everybody. But there's no excuse for anybody, including myself. Because I have driven under the influence before. And I can tell you, I felt very, very, very fortunate that nothing happened next day. So I don't try to make a habit out of that. I will not act. I will not try to act like I'm above it. I've done it. I've been there. And I recognize when I shouldn't have done it. So, you know, I put myself up in there too, man. And, you know, I'm just like I didn't get caught. Sure. Well, the thing you're saying about, you know, you don't know how drunk you are. Yeah, you always think you're better than you are until you're driving and things are like, oh shit. Or somebody, especially a police, come up and talk to you. Yeah. And then you get a real quick assessment.
Just trying to speak to somebody. Not necessarily a police, but just speak to somebody. And you're talking and you're like, oh, damn. I am further along than I thought. Yeah, yeah. And plus, I was responsible. I took a couple of lines of cocaine before I got them. Bro, it's a shit dude. Yeah, there you go. Well, thank you all for sending that video, man. Got a lot of stuff out of that. That was hilarious. That was crazy. I was about to pass this whole thing up. I did not know it was that wild. I see why I'm searching. Yeah, yeah. You blew me off and I was telling you. Well, no. Oh, shit was old, man. Why are you bringing it up? No, no. You came in, Mark came to the bedroom and told me. And you said, well, I guess I kind of did. Yeah. No, I did. You said I just did. Like, man, oh, shit. I came out 24. I can fuck up my room. And I did not know. So sorry, sir. Sorry. I'm sorry. I figured you knew. I was going to send it to you. I was like, oh, this is so big. You'll see it. Yeah. I did not. I see it now. So, yeah, that's worse than I thought. Oh, yeah. Way worse. Yeah. That's why it's mentionable.
Because otherwise, you're like, all right. Another case. But you know, somebody's going to make a good YouTube video. Yeah. Yeah, it is. You put down the main page. Yeah. Your first day on the main page. I'm going to put down the main page. Shit. That might put some music over and try and walk. Walk your body. Crimey River. Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh. Yes. Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, da-duh, duh, duh. Yeah. Duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh. Oh, yeah. He's got a lot of songs. And he really played a raw primer. He's like, oh, he whole Crimea river thing. You could remix the hell out. These videos. videos. Yeah, man. I said you owe me money, Coleman. Yeah, I can't wait to see in a hype-train video. So I'm like, reversing him doing the steps. All right. We got to move on. We got to talk to a guest today. We're running behind. I told this guy we'd be running behind. And we run away behind. And I expected that video. But let me go ahead and bring on our guest today.
Tony. Tony, Tony James. Tony James. Tony James. So we got Tony James coming on. And Tony James, he's the guy that does the comic book, Star and War. Very great writer. And he's got some great talent working on his. You see here, where am I? I got to do shows, meetings. There we go. He's got a very talented people working on his comic, Star and War, or his graphic novel. It's very good. It's so good. I keep saying, why is this thing not a movie? I thought he said last time he was here, he was kind of talking to Netflix. No, I don't know. I didn't not hear that. I thought so. Maybe we were just saying, like, damn, this should be a Netflix series looks awesome. No, that's exactly what it was. Absolutely. Tony Jane Netflix talks to everybody. Yeah, I've been talking Netflix. Oh, yeah, what do they say?
Get the fuck out of here. Make sure your subscription is paid. Yeah, exactly. Not you again. But the Netflix is the blue man. Yeah. No, not you again. Oh, let's see here. And let me let me get my screen off and give you all the screen right here. Man, how do I get my video off of here? Maybe, maybe it's not an important thing. I want to get my video off and give it to the slowly to Tony James over here, when everyone hold on. Oh, hi, self-view. There we go. And ladies and gentlemen, back once again, with his full mustache, glory, and looking better than ever, man, Mr. Tony James. Oh, look at it. Hey, that's up, guys. Oh, Tony, you looking better and better. Tony, see you, man. I got money now. It's amazing how money will do that, right? It changes everything. Next, next time we see him,
it's going to be in a DUI video. Yeah. Of course, for Justin. That's when you know you made it. Yeah, that's when you know you made it, man, when it puts you in a drunk tank. Yeah. Video goes up to you too. So, Tony, man, sorry, we got, we got ambushed by Justin, man, and we didn't know we're going to do that video. Sorry to keep you waiting. Thank you for your patience. Oh, yeah. No problem. Well, I love watching the show. So it was great to watch. Great, great to watch you guys banter about Justin. No, well, you know what, man, again, apologies, but great to have you here. And I love having you here because I love your graphic novel, which is starred, and you're on book now, what book? Book four. That seems like just yesterday. We were doing the first book. And yeah, this series is really taking off. The first campaign that we ever did, it took like 30 days to raise 10K. And we crushed that this time around in two days. Yeah. So people have been very, very excited. I have not talked to Netflix,
but people do talk to me constantly about how they want to see it on a streaming service. So so hopefully, hopefully it could be on either Netflix or, you know, maybe HBO Max, you know, somebody that that that handles story very well, handles adaptations very well. Yeah. So so we break Tony on to promote his book because we enjoy the book. Have you read his book yet? No, I really want to. I love the concept of the alien 1950s super cool. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Did you, uh, did you guys read the third one, did you say this is the third one? He did. I don't know if you got it. Okay. All right. I thought he had your email address. Maybe I'll tell you what, man, I will forward it to you. Okay. I have not read the third one yet. I am very busy. But man, you know, I've read the first two, and I am going to get around to reading the third one. Oh, I already have it open. What am I doing? I already have it open right here. And here's the third book. I don't want to give away too much. I want people to go in and get this for themselves. But this is the third book that you're seeing right here. He's already on the fourth one. And as, uh, as you can see, man, the artwork is great.
It's amazing. Tony does the writing and Tony, I want to just tell people about this because there's always people who have not heard about your book. And you look, I can tell them the concept, but you're here. Go ahead and give them the, you've so you've got you've done the pitch for this book so many times. Go ahead and tell them what this is about. Yeah. So this is a LA confidential meets the ex files. It's about a 1940 detective who teams up with a gray alien to stop a shape shifter who's killing LAPD officers and central station. So while they're trying to figure out which one of their fellow detectives is an alien, uh, more more cops are getting picked off one by one. So, uh, the first book really kind of intros the human detective and the gray alien, uh, LState, uh, they kind of pair them together. Um, our homicide detective, Alan, very off the wagon, very what you think about a, a, a, a 1940s hard boiled detective. Uh, so the first book bring them together. Uh, the second book we get to kind of meet aliens that are kind of living in secret in Los Angeles. Uh, more people die. There's a letter that is sent directly to Alan at the end
of the second book. The third book opens with that letter. We get a, we get insight into the psyche of our reptilian shapeshifter and, and what their motivations are. Uh, we also get to meet Dorsen Wells in, in the third book. Uh, very, very drunk horse and wells. It was, uh, inspired by the, um, that champagne commercial. Yeah. So, yeah. So, yeah. So, yeah. So, oh, the French. Yeah. So, we, uh, we, we kind of based a, uh, a personality around, or since personality around that. Um, and he's not, he's not the kind of, he's not a typical belligerent drunk. He's just more like aloof, just very disconnected, uh, which is very frustrating for our two detectives. So it creates a very humorous scene. I'm trying to see if I can find some orson in here. Is that orson right there? Yeah. He's got his, uh, he's got his Macbeth look. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There he is. That's hilarious, man. So, yeah. So when our two detectives meet him, uh, he's filming Macbeth. Uh, and we kind of recreated the, the film sets from the era. Um, and, uh, yeah, there's a really worth fun scene. Uh, has a very, very explosive ending the third book. Uh, um, you know, uh, we, we get a prime suspect
for who could be the, uh, the shape shifter. And, uh, yeah, there's a, a murder house that is introduced in that third book. And in the fourth book, uh, we pick up right where we left off. We, we, uh, you know, we, we investigate the murder house. We, uh, they're, we go head to head with the actual shape shifter. Our main character, Alan gets, gets, gets, gets, effed all the way up in this one. Um, yeah, it's just, uh, it's very, very exciting series. Um, you know, Pablo, you know, his popularity has increased. He's doing, uh, uh, a red Sonya run for Dynamite that comes out in a, and that's what people don't know. That's one of the guys that does the art for your book. Yeah. He is, he is the artist. Yeah. Yeah. Um, so yeah, it's, uh, we're, we're, we're probably kind of, uh, watch everybody kind of be very excited about it. And I have very, very passionate readers. I mean, they, they, they, they pay attention to every single detail. So I feel like, um, yeah, I, I feel like though it keeps, always keeps the work honest. Um, and, uh, yeah, this new campaign that we, uh, we launched a few days ago. It's been the best of the series
so far. Um, you know, you know, we hit the goal, you know, as I said before, we hit the goal in two days. Uh, and it's just been going up ever since. Let me go ahead and show people your, your kickstarter campaign here, which, as Tony just said, has been very successful. So, wow, uh, and reached his book. I mean, it's a lot of, uh, the goal for his book, book four. So this is a kickstarter. Yeah. I think this is still going. But they, yeah. Sure. It's a six part, uh, six part memory mystery. Um, yeah, we're on the fourth book. Um, you can, uh, if you've never read it, you can read the first nine pages of the first book for free. There's a link under the cover, uh, cover image that we, that we put on the campaign page there. So you want to kind of try it before you buy it. Uh, there's, there's definitely a great, it'll give you a great taste of what, uh, Star Wars all about. Um, yeah, we even, uh, you know, we have catch up tears. There's one called the big sleep that'll, that'll get you all four books. It's over 200 pages. Uh, if you're,
you know, if you want to kind of just dip your toe in, uh, there's also, uh, reward tier called, um, there's a, there's a reward tier that's just book one. Uh, it's called a polite invitation. Uh, so if you just want to just try the first book, uh, we have that available as well. Nice. Very nice. And, uh, so Tony, yes, sir, besides the work itself, why you know, he's smiling on about to say something crazy. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm talking. No, I got a very serious question. Okay. So besides the work itself, you have, yeah, great story. You have great art, but a lot of people, you know, they have a great product, but it always does not do well when people have a Kickstarter campaign or any kind of crowdfunding campaign out there. What do you think is the secret behind you having a successful campaign over and over and over again? Um, I think it's a, you know, it's a dedication. I mean, then we, you know, these are scripts that are pulled about, I pulled apart and put back together dozens of times. By the time
you, you see it, you know, we know exactly what the story is. We know exactly what the characters would do. You know, it's, it's a very fully formed idea. And so, and because of all that work, we get to tell it with, with confidence. And, you know, there's, there's a, a healthy helping of talent going, going around, around the table between the art team and myself. I don't like to say that I have to tell other people say it, but, you know, it is what it is. But, uh, yeah, I think the way that we're, we're able to kind of keep it up so consistently is just that, you know, we, it's a fully polished story. Um, even, even the stories, even the books that are not finished yet, you know, there is a very specific, uh, you know, roadmap for that. Not even a roadmap. They're actual scripts for it. Yeah. No, it's, uh, it's incredible, man. You've, you've done something very special with this. A lot of people do one campaign. And if they successful with it, they've, you know, they've done their thing and they move on. You have one successful campaign after another on Kickstarter. That's great, man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've been, uh, very, really appreciative of, of everybody who's, uh, come out to support it. Even, even the toasties,
you know, there's a on, on the double toasted reddit. Uh, they're very, very nice to me about star noir. Not me. That nicer to you than me. Well, you got to do snorkeling. You know, they were making it. Uh, there's this thing they're doing on double toasted reddit now. Are they like making videos to you guys? Like, cutting you out of context. Make you see it sound like you're saying outlandish things. Like, it was one where it was like, it was like, you, you, you, Corey, reminiscing about getting crack from blockbuster. Yeah. Yeah. Not getting our rinted crack from, from blockbuster. Yeah. Yeah. I got to show that to you. Yeah. Yeah. I would go, I would go and rint crack from blockbuster and, you know, and, and smoke crack all night. That's, uh, yeah. That's it. What do you do now? Uh, well, blockbuster when I was business, right? You know, so I don't, I, you know, I just do it out. No, I, uh, if I was wholesale, no, I get mine online now. I stream my crack. So Tony, that's, that's great, man. Now, are you doing anything else to fund this besides Kickstarter? Uh, no, I mean, I, I go to conventions. Uh, I sell it in person
to people around New York City or in, uh, nearby states. Uh, that's kind of, that's kind of how I, what I do when I'm not doing Kickstarter. Uh, yeah, just, uh, you know, building my readership. Uh, the, the old fashioned way as they used to do in the 90s. Um, so yeah, that's what I do. Nice. Right. Any questions for this guy? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, yeah. Tony, one thing I, I love about your writing is how, how well you capture the time period. And I just like to know, like, what, uh, what was your inspiration? I mean, you know, what, when inspired you about that time period, your love, um, I really love films, uh, from that era. I really love the, the, the kind of fast talking nature of it. I mean, uh, I would say like detour. Uh, I don't know if you've ever seen detour or, um, or like the, the, the big, uh, the blue dollia is also great. Um, yeah, just very kind of very snappy dialogue. It feels very much like a, a quick tennis match back and forth. Um, and, uh, yeah, I just had a lot of passion for that. Uh, there's the video game LA Noir, uh, is like one of my favorite video games all the time. Yeah. Um, and, uh, yeah, just, just trying to
figure out a way to kind of merge that with, uh, a show that was very influential for me, which was, uh, the ex files when I was growing up, which watching it as a kid, you know, scared the hell out of me. So I thought it would be a fun pairing to kind of, you know, put this 1940s setting, you know, with very spooky aliens and try to try to add as much believability to, to the circumstances as possible. Nice. Very nice. I mean, you got any questions for? I was hoping you were going to ask a question about, uh, facial hair related. No, I had what we were talking about before. No, no, no. I, I do not have everything I've had to say about his facial hair. I think I've already said, I mean, the mustache speaks for itself. That's a point it literally does. No, it's really like a night when he's asleep. It leaves. It's clubs. No, no, no. No, I, I, I, again, I have, uh, you got beard envy, but I have mustache envy right now. So, uh, it's very nice to be got there. Yeah. I would say that I do see the money, uh, that you're making now, man, the, the, the, the mustache does look more refined now.
It's a little more home. We're able to be able to afford a little more wax to put up in there. Yeah, a little bit more of the top shelf wax. Yeah, a little bottom shelf for a while. Now we get to splurge a little bit. Stop using that Crisco. Yeah. No, no, no, no. I get to get to import it from Italy. Yeah. Okay. So I, I, I do have another question. And these are things I've been thinking about. And I don't, I don't know if I've asked you this before, but now is Star and War your full-time job? Um, it's, well, I mean, comics isn't my full-time job, but Star and War is split right now with moonshine. They, uh, that lunar western. Yeah, yeah, I was going to ask you about that. Um, that's going great too. Uh, you can actually read a preview of that book, like the first 10 pages of that book on the campaign pages. Well, so that's also free. If you want to, you want to check that out as well. But that series is going great. Um, so yeah, I just sort of juggle with juggle both of those books right now. Nice. Oh, right on. Is that enough? Are you going to try to take on another project? Uh, I don't actually have the time. There's all these are very little a fixed number of hours in the day. You don't have the bad way.
I have other stories. There are other things that I do want to tell. Uh, but, uh, I feel like Star and War has got at least at least finished this first story arc. Uh, we have a, a New York City story that we're doing in a prohibition New York. Um, that's also Star and War, same art team. Um, so once this murder mystery and Los Angeles wraps up, uh, we're going to do this other New York story. Perfect. Perfect. Man, proud of you. Uh, you cannot play the video. There's a video that does a catch up of the story. Oh, so we do like a previously on on Kickstarter page. Okay. I think I saw that. Well, let me see. Where is your, oh, there it is. Yeah, I saw the video right there. I didn't know if that was a new one or not. It's a new one. Yep. Okay. All right. Previously on the Star and War Kickstarter. Welcome back readers. That's time in Los Angeles. Our ace detective received a mysterious letter from our loose of killer with another cap I haven't kicked the bucket. He set up with his eagle rookies to narrow their leads. They cross bars with one horse and wells. A real drunkard sauce all the way up to his eyeballs. How did
techers learn the late Patrick Perkins was hunting one of their colleagues before his demise. Meanwhile, Captain Higgins became a prime suspect, vanishing into a peculiar domicile in the sticks. In our next chapter, the poop hits the proverbial fan is our gum shoes tangle with the deadly shapeshifter. Several threads in our mystery reach a breaking point tightening the new surround our detectives danger lurks around every corner like a back alley shadow. Things go belly up for everyone involved. Book four is penned by Mr. Tony James, a writer of sorts. And by the way, I hope people think that Tony's the cat. It's like the cat's really writing these things and it's going, you know, to tell about me this time, so what do you think? Mr. Tony James, a writer of sorts, a lover of old noir and science fiction. In his corner are his three abled-bodied artists, aces in their own field, much like our detective. And jump into a house of fat. Take a gander at those awards. The exclusives are a real humdinger. Be sure to bruise the add-ons as well. Can memory your purchase with these additional items. Don't be a funny daddy. Backstarn a water day. It's the only way to defeat the communists.
Well, there you go. That's fantastic. Yeah, I love this. I love it. It's a date here. Yeah, folks. Great delivery on that. Oh, thank you. Yes. Yes. Oh, there you go. People go ahead and get your copy of Star Wars. It's literally the cat's meow. Yeah, there you go. You don't stop stealing my material. I will kill you. Cat does look like a writer. You see he's wearing a sweater. The cat is wearing a sweater, yeah. Is that cat wearing a sweater? Yeah, let's play it. I'm just like. Oh, sure. Thor is penned by Mr. Tony James. A writer always. It's like Bert. If only they really knew. Yeah, the cat's the cat's writing it. Yeah, you're not fooling anybody. All right, Tony. Hey, before you go, once again, congratulations and you want to play a little game with everybody. Oh, yeah, since I write in this 1940 setting, there's so much slang. I found that a lot of 1940 slang could pass for Gen Z slang.
So we could do a quick round of, is it 1940 slang or is it Gen Z? All right. Well, being that we are neither generation. Well, maybe Martin, you know, I'm going to say some. I'm messing with you. I know. Maybe you would pass out. I know. I mean, I told you. Never have faith in me. All right. Yeah, this guy keeps his eye on the low row. Is that prudent? I got to do my typical touching the ground. Now it's right. Let's go ahead and play that then. How do you want to do this? I want to go around the room. Does somebody guess it right? Are you want to go person to person? I'll hit you with a word. I'll use it in a quick sentence. And then you guys tell me, all right. So the first, the first word is Jake. J-A-K-E as in everything's Jake. Okay. That's a 40s. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Two jakes. Yeah. Yeah. That's 40. That's not, that is not Gen Z. That's Jake with me. Okay. Yeah. You're right. It is, that is 1940s. Right. All right. That's an easy one, I guess. You started out. All right.
That's the low list to do a false sense of security. Yes. Okay. Next one. All right. The next one, Zooted. Oh, Zooted? That's a Gen Z. Okay. Yeah. I think they brought that back, Zooted. Yeah. Because you know what? Because I know that millennials and even JNX people use to say, I'm, I'm Zooted right now. No. Okay. Yeah. That's like saying, I'm high. Yeah. But they had Zooted Gen Z. Yeah. That's what I was thinking, Zooted. Yeah. But you can be both. So what is it? It's a, it's a, it's a Gen Z term. Ah, look at that. Got a point. Y'all lose. Okay. I got the first one. Yes. Next up, clean. As in that fit is clean. Oh, man, that's Gen Z. Yes, Gen Z, yeah. Both. It's actually both. It's actually both 1940s, you know. Well, clean is, is more of like kind of getting away. Like you got off clean. That's, that's the world. Oh, well, yeah. Well, I figured like it could be, that's what I'm playing. I figured it could be 40s and engines. Yeah. So yeah, I figured it was 40s also. So with some of this is not in the 40s in.
No. Okay. Sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah. So all right, then. I'll keep that in mind. Cheaters. You know, as in check out as cheaters. Oh, no, those are like glasses. The sunglasses. Oh, 40s speak. Oh, okay. Well, I'm going to go with you and say that that is not a Gen Z thing. That does not sound Gen Z at all to me. No, not Gen Z. No, it's, it's 1940s. Look at this. We're pretty good. Yeah. Hey, you guys are. And last but not least, cooked. Come on. Oh, that's both. Yeah, that's both. Yeah, there we go. Oh, look at that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, yeah, that's the same time. Oh, well, that was fun, man. Thank you so much. Yeah, no problem. And congratulations once again, Tony. And so this is, now, is this book going to draw to a close? Are you going to keep it open and just keep funding book after book? No, this one, this one's got a couple more chapters left. It has a definitive ending. And it has kind of like a true detective sort of vibe to it.
So every, every story arc is a different time period, different detectives. One is a human, one is an alien. We play around with which one is which? Oh, nice. So, yeah, so we've got this LA story and then we're going to do a prohibition in New York story. Very nice. We find, we find ways to connect them. Okay. Well, folks, there you go. Star war. Go check it out or kick starter. Should be typing star and war and typing kick starter. It will come up. Yeah, it's, it's the book on kick starter. Yes, it's the book. I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll put a link over in the chat. So you guys can go check that out. So there you go. I appreciate that. Yeah, no, no. Once again, congratulations, Tony. He was looking for a goal of $10,000. So far, this book has reached 15,000. So nice, man, very nice. Yeah, got plenty of, plenty of time left. So, you know, you can, you can check out a bunch of, a bunch of stuff for free without actually paying. So you can see what, see if you like it. You know, see if you, if you're enjoying some star and a war.
Excellent, excellent. Everything's groovy. It's a good time to be Tony James. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, man, Tony's mustache, 40s are Gen Z. Both, it's, it's 40s and Gen X. And Gen X, that's there you go. That was a trick question. Well, I will say the number one group of people that complement my mustache is Gen Z. They are, it's always young people telling me how much they like it. Okay, there's like a vintage quality to it that they really like, I don't know. Maybe you'll start a trim, my friend. Yes, yes, it's a, I think it's 40s. You could also go back to like the 1800s. Yeah, that's true. You can either be in a barbershop quintet. All right, you could be a villain at a saloon. That's right. You know, I put a sombrero on your banditoms. I just close up a player with some ragtime. Yeah, there you go. All right, Tony, sorry, I kept you waiting. Thank you so much. Yeah, no problem. Yeah, good to see you again, Tony. See you guys in Austin soon. Yeah, so yeah, we went out to eat with Tony
when I was in New York. No, when I was married, man, though, the ex-wife, I mean, we went out to eat with Tony and his girl, man. So yeah, so we had to do that again when you come back, man. Yeah, I mean, we got to go back, I mean, we're trying to go back because, you know, Terry Blacks is haunting us in our nightmare. Yeah, we definitely got to have some more. Well, now you can live the nightmare when you come here because the lines are longer. Yeah, but it's more expensive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we don't say the praises of Terry Black as much as we used to. Okay, well, I mean, it's, I mean, as a tourist, it's pretty great. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, no, it's still, I mean, look, the lines are longer, twice is longer, but they're still not Franklin's long. No, that is very true. And plus we got some new places you might want to try, man. So, you know, oh, yeah, for sure. All right, Tony, Tony James, everybody, Tony James. The great Tony is Stardewar, is the book. Tony James is the man. And by, thanks, man, I'll see you.
All right, bye, bye, Tony. It's the man who is ready to go. Yeah, I just want to give him anticipation. I'm like, hey, man, I'm sorry, say nice things about you. I got nothing to say about you. I've got none out of here. What more do you want? Hey, get your ass out of here. All right, no, Tony James. He's great, everybody. I love talking to Tony. Some people asked us what we're going to talk about Chuck Norris. And I was like, man, listen, I grew up in Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris was legendary. There's a whole thread about Chuck Norris. Everybody said what I was even thinking. Like Chuck Norris ain't really dead. He's just playing like he did. He can ambush death and kill him. But Chuck Norris is a hero of the most, but he never meant shit to me. A straight-out racist. It's like a simple plan. Oh, I used to love Chuck Norris. But man, I'm just, I'm not even trying to make this political.
I'm not. I'm just over, you know, singing the glory of celebrities who are Trump supporters. Exactly. I'm just not, yeah, I could say a lot about Chuck Norris. And I was thinking about doing it. But I was like, man, I just don't feel like I need to be honest with you. Nothing, nothing against the man. I can say the man is a legend, you know. And I don't do that thing. Why I hate one person? And because I, he chances I'll probably support somebody who's probably as bad as he is. I'm not even saying he's bad. He's just a Trump's, Trump's supporter. That's just not my thing to go out there and just, you know, sing the praises like that anymore. There was a funny ass video. Walker Texas Ranger was a crazy show. It was a lame ass show. Oh, of course. That's what you're praising for so long. I'm like, yeah, you're actually watching Walker Texas Ranger. If you were 80 years old, yeah, you watching Walker, man, listen, Walker Texas Ranger is the show that I like, we talk about this. That's the show I daddy watched. Yeah. But we were coming up, you know, and we, you know, it was Matlock. It was things like that.
But I mean, I mean, I think about like all these movies. I'm like, the only movie I was impressed with his kung fu and was when he was fought and killed by Bruce Lee. Oh, man, but, uh, did you ever watch the Chuck Norris cartoon? Yes, we must get Norris. No, I can't say that. Yeah. Was that one of the cartoons where somebody else voiced Chuck Norris? Or did he do his own? No, you know, he went on. Come on. Chuck Norris, I'm going to go in there doing his, got their cartoon voice. No, I mean, listen, whether you like, uh, uh, Walker Texas Ranger, not it lasted for eight seasons. It hit his demographic. Yeah, it did. No, it's, it, there's a reason why it did crazy and syndication. But they were just, I would catch it sometime. They were just crazy shit that would pop up every now and then. And in Kevin King, just to give an example, Kevin King sent me a, a short clip from an episode of Walker Texas Ranger. This is how long he's been on. So that boy from the sixth sense.
You know, I see dead people. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. A Haley Joel Ossman. Haley Joel Ossman was on the episode. Okay. Wow. Yeah, and, and while he was still a kid or when he was still a kid, yeah, he was getting me older. He wasn't, he wasn't a, you know, this is after six cents. I don't, awkward teenage phase. Yeah. No, not you know, not even not teenage phase. He was going to the awkward like about to reach teenage phase. Yeah. Vine rabbit teeth and shit. Uh-huh. So, but it's many, this is how crazy these shows are because he, it's just not Walker Texas Ranger. Back in the day, they would try to tackle serious subjects. And these shows were so cheesy. It just came out funny and then what they expected. And this, this like this video right here starts out one way and it just takes a turn. Real quick. And how are you doing, little father? Fine. And it's a little visitor now. I don't why you always say it in Cherokee. Well pardon my French, but, uh, oh, damn. Walker told me I had AIDS. It's like, well, well, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait a brain to room down, man.
Wow, you brought, you really brought our pie down. You guys don't have to be careful anymore, okay? Well, see, you just killed the move, everybody. No problem. Oh, shit. You stay over there now. Yeah, that little boy just dropped that shit on them like nothing. And how are you doing, little father? Fine. And it's a little visitor now. Asso. How do you always say it in Cherokee? Well pardon my French, but I'll be dead. Walker told me I had AIDS. He explained it all. You guys don't have to be careful anymore, okay? Sure, honey. Oh, walking and telling me. Walking like I told you I'd like to say that. I told you you got paid.
That old man in the cowboy hat, that's noble willing, man. Is it, oh, that is? Yeah. Oh, shit. That's the corn dog, man. No shit. Yeah. Yeah, let's do his voice again. I reckon that's good. How are you doing, little father? That's fine. Fine. And it's a little visitor now. How do you always say it in Cherokee? Well, my French, but I'll be dead. Walker told me I had AIDS. Not like that. I got to teach you timing next. He explained it all. You guys don't have to be careful anymore, okay? Well, you keep your little nasty ass away from me. You know I'm bringing that little boy out there to see you soon. And he was being made the way he is in the corn dog, man.
He would be a real homiful. Oh, yeah. Well, you keep that little gas motherfucker away from me. You know I'm bringing him around here. That's right. It's like queer. You guys are doing that. Get out and get him out of here faster than the cacken. Look at his own ass. Yeah, well, I love Chuck Norse's face. I'll be dead. Walker told me I had AIDS. Man, we have a good time too, you know. I brought you to Preston's chicken. You got to bring that shit. I told you I was saying this shit. Now you'll get no ass at all. Just killed everybody the whole don't know. Well, we're the writers thinking. So yeah, we're going to have this kid have AIDS. Yeah, who knows? That's what I want to know. What the fuck is the context? We're taking on some social issues, guys.
You went from happy go lucky now. Hey, you know what Walker said. And that right Walker said I told you a gay joke, man. Oh, you don't really have you don't really have AIDS. You're the fucking joke, man. Hey, everybody. I got AIDS. He dropped that shit. Oh, it quick. Hey, how you doing, everybody? I got to hate you. Yeah, I don't know what the context of that is. I don't want to know. I don't want to know. I don't want to know. Okay. Got AIDS with it. He also sees dead people. All right, get out of here. They told me about my, my, uh, my place tonight, my here and there. I'm going to get my medicine. Yeah, they told me to come in early. Oh, yeah, we better wrap this up. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, I got an appointment.
Why they tell you to come in early? Pride party coming in? No, I guess maybe it's slow and they just and I'll bring the party. No, no, I just, but I just, they just talk. They just say, if you want to come in at 10, you can. They'll make some of the bartenders name. That's nice in there. They love you over there. Yeah, I mean, I love that spot. I, like I say, better love me. I spend a lot of money on the man. I threw your name around there and they were lighting up. Well, you know what, man, they, uh, so you, it doesn't take much for me to go back to bar. I'm going to tell you something about good service. And if you're bartender, I mean, this is not a secret either. I'm making it sound like it's something there, you know, like, some big secret. But no, you know, in time of bartender, any time you start to like, not only, uh, not only start to know your name, but when they, when they start to know immediately what you drink, that means a lot to me. Like, you know, if you know my name and the second time, the third time I'll go in and they say, oh, you want to. And I'm like, all right, you know what? You probably got a regular customer here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's all it takes for me, man.
Good service will go a long way with me. And a drink, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mark like a bar will go along with you. That's what I got about. No, they, no, they're very, uh, not very nice over there. But when you go and try the outlaw, I'm like, I'm, I'm, you know, what, which one is that? Uh, because I'm pretty sure he had my scholarly, because like, that's what I kept asking for. But it comes in a, it comes in something that looks like a bong. And the, oh, yeah, I've, I've had that. Yeah, I don't, I've seen him even served, uh, they serve it as a mocktail too. Right. Yeah, so I was there with Sebastian, you know, my, my Latin boy lover, reddit, take that out of contact. It was to take out a context. They, I say that because, uh, I was hanging around with Sebastian and his couple. This woman came over and just told us, oh, y'all look adorable. Oh, that was there. No, it wasn't there. Oh, okay. It was a place called, uh, Moonshot.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Sebastian, I just sit in there. We weren't doing nothing. We weren't holding hands or anything like that. Nobody was sitting looking lovingly to somebody's eyes. It was when we just decided to come over and just say, oh my god, you two are adorable. At first, I thought she thought, because I thought I'd made like older Sebastian and younger. So I made like, this is like some, uh, big brothers, big, big brothers, big sisters, oh, okay. And, uh, I was like, oh, well, thank you. I don't know. I, I don't want to assume. I was like, thank you. And she's like, oh, so how long you two been together? And it's like, oh, yeah. And at that point, you wanted to show, I just lie. Right. We should look at her like that kid. I have AIDS. Yeah. We've been together five years and he gave me AIDS. Isn't that right? Nice to meet you. Anyway, Sebastian. Let's see here.
Um, move on to the last thing we got to do here. Let me close Tony's things over here. All right, Tony. We'll see you. Goodbye, sir. And, uh, folks, there are three more tickets left for my show at the Broadway comedy club for night to sit down comedy. That's going to be Friday, April 17th, 9 p.m. show. And three more tickets left. So this will definitely sell out. So get your tickets now. If they're available, go to double tosyny.com. I'll go to double tosy.com and get your tickets right below there. And there you go. All right. Nice personal invitey to everybody. No one knows what you're talking about. They will. No, I was expecting you to say it the whole time. No, I was not going to say it. Thank you. Your Cory catch. What was it?
Yeah. Let me see here. All right. I guess I have to do. I mean, probably won't get to do that list then. You know what? I can stay later if you want to do it after. Well, see, we'll see. Because you saw it. Martin didn't see that. Ready and not so. No, I didn't. Yeah, so Martin wants to go. You and I can do that review for the members. And if we have time, we'll do the pressure. It's just because people asked. Yeah, no, no, no, I want you to do it. Because I didn't want to take that away from that day. The Oscars, we just started. Yeah, I can. And I thought we would be able to do it right now. So no worries. Let's see here. All right, John. What have you done? Okay, I'm right. Let's see.
All right, one of our favorite shows. At least one of my favorite shows is back. I love it so much. I didn't know it was here. Yeah, I know. Neither do you. I told Martin other day. I said, man, the Vince was on. Martin actually. I'd never see you like shake so much. We worked. I was like, yeah, man. I feel like usually there's a lot of buildup for it. And it was like, there's nothing. Yeah, I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's just there's more stuff to watch. And some of these things just go under the radar sometimes. So that's where we come into the show, invincible, where it is on season four now. And I don't want to show reaches this fourth season. I can go either way. Either it's going this long because it is still great. They still have a lot of story to tell, a lot of development that's going on with these characters are you just say, man, you just need to die. Magic is not there anymore. Just stop. And I believe now we watch so many things.
We could jump on about this, but we watch a lot of stuff. Movies, TV shows, cover a lot of news. So it was hard to remember even some past seasons that worked that long ago. But I think there were probably some seasons I thought, oh, that's all right, are you know, it's not as good as some of the seasons. But now that we're on season four, we were sent six episodes. They've already released three. Yeah, I didn't realize we were sent episodes. I only watched the three. I did not know this until Friday until I went to our screeners and saw that we had six episodes. So I went ahead and watched all six episodes. Now, either I did that because the show's still amazing. And I just want to keep going. Or it was a job, you know, it was it was it was a slog to get through it. I just did it out of well, responsibility for our audience right here. So here's what we're going to talk about though. We're going to talk about the show. And we're going to talk about whether people should watch period
or if it is good, why people should continue to watch, whether you should start watching the night. That is if the show is still quality. Now, we might just come back and tell you, yeah, this needs y'all need to go. All right, just this in this already. But let's go ahead and watch this trailer. And then we'll be back to give you our impressions and reviews. Mark, take a night off. We don't get to take a night off. If I had actually killed eggs from the first time, so many people would still be alive, I'll do anything to stop that from happening again. It's not who you are, Mark. Look, trauma like that. Rakes people. Things are changing, Mark, and not for the better. Oh, God. I'll figure this out. Okay. We need to show the world that even after everything that happened, the guardians are still here,
inviting to keep everyone safe. Come on. From what might be coming our way. I'm sorry, Mark. We need your help. How do you feel about war? The Viltramines will always be a threat to Earth. But each day, we add more allies to break their hold on the galaxy. Together, we have a chance to end this war forever. Hey, I can help. How much does this job pay? No tricks this time. How do I know you're telling the truth? You'll have to trust me. So, people, if you don't know anything about this show, this start out as a superhero coming of age story. And as you can see by this trailer now, this is a full sci-fi epic about saving the galaxy from a plan of super Nazis.
And, well, you're about to say something, by the way. Oh, the voice of the older Viltramine. Is that Optimus Prime? Yes, Tom Cullen. Okay. Yeah, yes. Yes, Martin, you were right. Very observant. Roll out. Giving them those Justin Timberlake guys. So, there's a lot of reasons for someone not to watch the show now. And, you know, is that because the show is bad? Well, not necessarily. I would just say that there's already too much superhero stuff out there. And, there's a lot of superhero stuff piling on right here. They got their own version of Justice League and the Avengers. And, and all that stuff, man, is they, you know, they've dumped the whole superhero bucket right here. It can get really geeky. So, that's not your thing. You don't read comics. You don't know geek stuff. You don't know anime cartoons. Anything like that. And, this is probably not going to be for you.
And, it just gets really, really weird. The boy goes on. And, it's already air for four seasons. So, that means, whether you watch this or not, you've probably heard some spoilers. Because, some of this stuff is already made into pop culture. Live an impact. Sure. You know, some of these characters are, they're, you know, they're, they're, they're big figures in pop culture right now. Yeah, Omni Man was in Mortal Kombat. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. But, if you have time, you know, you should watch this, I think. I think, I think it's, I'd still think it's worth watching. Well, it's never a good idea to just start at the fourth season. Well, no, no, I'm not saying start at four seasons, but four seasons, after four seasons, yeah, it's dipped to some parts for me. But, man, overall, I think that this is getting better. It keeps getting better and better. I think parts of this rival's Game of Thrones. And that's crazy to say. And I'll explain why. Because some people don't hear me make that, that, that, that coming up, you know,
you're talking about a stuff and animated superhero show, being compared to this live action, the fantasy epic. And it's, there are reasons why I would say this. And I think I can back them up. Okay. But they're probably thinking, oh, you mean the last season. No, when Game of Thrones was at its peak, when this is like when people first discovered Game of Thrones, I'm like, I don't know how to feel about anything anymore. Yeah, man, so to answer your question, yes, I think that this is worth watching. I think it's worth starting from beginning and getting into right now. And even if you know some spoilers about things, I think that this is, I think this show is, this season, I think it's at is, at is best. Yeah. Yeah, I really do. There's some things, maybe not as a whole, but there are certain things I can go through and pick out and say, I think that they're doing. This is amazing. I think that this, this part right here is incredible. I'm really impressed with a lot of things that they're doing with the writing and the show and some of the technical stuff animation too. Yeah, because I've read the whole series.
Yeah. And I know so much of what's coming. But I get, and I'm watching the show, I get caught up into it and like, kind of forget about what I've seen. And the first couple of episodes of this, I was like, I can see why they released three at one time. Because the first two, it's just kind of set up and they're like, yeah, these are okay. And then the third one, man, they really go all out with the stories. And the animation is so much better in that third episode. Yeah. Because it's like they save up the 18 when it's going to be an action-heavy episode. Yeah. So what I want to do is I want to tell you why. I want to tell you why this show still works. I want to tell you why it keeps getting better. And I want to tell you why you should jump in, even if your four seasons behind, why you should get into it now. And just overall, I do review of this season. Because I really do think it's not just superheroes or anything like that, or anything that appeals to me like animation. They are doing such a good job
with some of the writing right here. And they look if superheroes are not your thing, if geek stuff is not your thing, then you're just not going to watch it. But if you have an open mind and you appreciate good writing, the character, this show is one of the best out there. I'm saying that is a superhero show. I'm thinking overall. And I'm still impressed that it can work. Because this show is all over the place, man. You know, when you watch this, it's a combination of so many things. It's a superhero comedy. It's a spoof of all the geek stuff that's out there. It's a sci-fi epic. It's gory, it's violent. Then all of a sudden it's a wacky cartoon with anime influences. Then it switches to a show that has serious, drama and character moments. And yet, as I said, it's one of the best written shows on TV. How is it doing that? How does it keep topping itself? If you haven't seen it yet, hopefully we can convince you, even with some of the spoilers out out there. So to do this, if we're going to try to peel to some people who might not have seen this, we actually have to,
we got to catch you up on some things. Just in case you don't know what this is about, or maybe you stop watching years ago because of whatever. But to catch up with everything here. So Mark Grayson, he's a teenager who discovers his powers during something equal to puberty right here for him. And that's thanks to his loving dad, which is Omni Man, in his earth name as Nolan. He's the world's greatest superhero, who also turns out to be a genocidal maniac from another planet called Biltrum, who was only sent to earth to conquer it. And after committing mass murder while trying to kill his son, and this is one of the scenes that stands out, this is an iconic scene right here. And it's, it's, what's that? No, no, you're probably, I was just miming it, think, Mark. Yeah, no, this is a scene that it left an impact on anyone who's seen it. Even if you don't like the show, this scene is so insane,
it's so violent, and it's so heartbreaking that it's haunting. That's when people said this show is not fucking around, right? And that's the scene that kind of caught people because, for just a moment, and the comics is longer, but for a moment, you're led to believe that, oh, this is a heartwarming coming to the page, family-friendly superhero show. And it's not, obviously, right? They recreated that in Mortal Kombat. It's a fatality. It's so awesome. Yeah, that's how big that scene has come. But after committing mass murder right there, he has a change of heart, and then he leaves Earth feeling, tremendously guilty, and he leaves Mark and his wife, Debbie, devastated, because he did such things that said, I never cared about you guys, you would just pets to me.
Now, all of a sudden, I guess he just being on Earth long enough, gave him a conscious, and now he's kind of turned on his people. And there's a lot more stuff that goes on here. So much more. There's so much stuff that's going on with Mark's friends, girlfriends. He has a complicated situation working with the government, what guy named Cecil. And many of these characters that come after Mark's introduction and his story, they get their own subplots. They get their own stories. They get their own episodes and they're introduced over several seasons. So where we're at right now, Omni Man is kind of a good guy. I guess he considers himself someone who feels bad about what he did. He's trying to make up for his atrocities, and it's not easy, because it keeps bringing painful memories back for Mark, his mom, Debbie, and it may even have a, Mark even has a little brother right now, from another marriage that Omni Man had it with an insect type of species.
He has a little brother named Oliver. And now they need Omni Man, no matter what's going on with him and how much pain he's caused people. They got to bring him back because they need to help stop this looming invasion from the Viltra mites, the space mites that we're talking about, who are way more pissed. And actually desperate now, because they don't start to fend themselves, because now everybody's like, all right, we had enough of y'all shit. And the whole galaxy is like, all right, we got to kill these people. So they don't have to break an extinction. They already were. Yeah. So with this man, why this still works? One, the Viltra mites and great villains, man. They're scary. You hate them. But even this season kind of makes them something that you think about. I mean, that's very threatening because they want to bring an extinction. But now the show has shown more of them.
Yeah. You know, they're being shown to be more than just villains. They do a whole backstory. Did you, oh, did they do that? Did you see that? The whole thing with them dying off. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw that. There's a whole thing where you go in and you see how ruthless their their species are. Their civilization is. But then you see them dying out. Then you begin to see how they care about each other. You know, they, uh, and there's even, uh, there's even a backstory with Nolan himself where he's, uh, where he's, uh, he's, uh, they show him how he was raised to be cold blooded like he is because he has to, he has to fight his parents. He has to fight his parents. Yeah, his parents come in and they just start beating the shit out of him. Out of nowhere, man. Let's see. Is that kind of beating where you, you go like, is there an end to this beating? Or are you just going to beat him to death until he dies?
Oh. You forgot, didn't you? It is your day of adulthood. If you survive. All right, forget. Mother, I'm like, damn, I took some ass with my mother. But now like never like that, never like that. So I played that and I want to bring that point up because that's one of the show, that's one of the things that the show does well is that they're not asking you to forgive these people. They're not asking you to, to actually even agree with them or anything like that. But they do show you that things are not always black and white. You know, uh, so, uh, uh, invincible. That's the hero's name, Mark Grayson. You know, his father came down and had changed a heart
because he was, he just realized, like, I was raised this way. And I was raised and never have feelings. And then, you know, his real conscious comes in. Yeah. And I think that that is for animated show about superheroes, these characters have more dimension more than some live action characters out there. And that's what I meant by Game of Thrones right here because you get a lot of characters that are villains and villains that you hate. And then you end up thinking like, oh, another I see the other side of the story, I don't mean I like them still, but I kind of understand them better. Well, this is the advantage of a long form or a series over, you know, just a movie or two or even a short series. You know, we've had four seasons. So we've had plenty of time to explore everyone and see all the dimensions to them. And with the Viltra Mites, yes, we don't agree with them, but it is, it's the way their society has always worked. Yeah. So somebody knew coming up, it's hard to say, man, you can't, you shouldn't be doing that. It's like, that's all they know.
Yeah, it's, you know, it's, it's something that I want to bring up because, again, that's why the show works. No one is completely good and no one is completely evil. The Viltra Mites, now they're pretty much fucking evil, man. Yeah, I mean, it's like, like, even, even when we see the other side of the story, it's like, no, y'all still some man. Yeah, well, good, you know, and I have no sympathy for y'all, man. Even when they start killing them, and I'm like, good, y'all have got to go. But this season, the reason why I love this season, man, is because even though I'm the man did the unforgivable, you haven't seen the episodes that I've seen, where, you know, okay, so we're explaining it. This is this culture. He sees that he's wrong. And he, and he's even turned on his own species now, his own people. And he just, you know, and he's trying to reconcile with the guilt that he feels. And man, they get into some episodes where it's like, he wants to apologize so much and apologize to everybody. And this is like, man, don't do that. Right. Right.
Yeah, most people, they don't want to hear it. They kill somebody. They just love ones. And apology is never going to cover that. Yeah, man, there are episodes where I don't want to spoil too much. I don't want to say anything. But he's trying to talk to people after doing this right here. After destroying a city, killing hundreds and thousands of people, man, you know, and now that there's, I think it's episode four or five, we were since this, and this is why I try to watch everything. Because I think we, you know, it's like, we were saying, no, three are already out there. Yeah. And I watched the fourth one already. And about four or five episodes, four or five, he starts trying to go and make amends with people. And it is so to see him going knock on a door of somebody that he did completely wrong. I was like, I couldn't even watch. Right. Right. But don't do this, man. Yeah. I was on the edge of my seat just, you know, just tensed up. Right. More than the end of the action, more than something like this, to see people that he hurt and went back to like talk to.
And I was like, brother, don't do this, man. That sounds so cool, especially because Omni Man is such an interesting character to see him have an arc like that. That's awesome. Yeah, and, and you know what, man? So you have, I will say that there's one, man, it's a very powerful scene, the way it ends. Mark Campbell does the voice of this character. Art Rosen, yeah, Art Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum, and he does the costumes for a lot of superheroes. He did a costume for Omni Man. Omni Man comes back to have a talk. And it's awkward as fuck. Oh boy. And we're not talking about anything superhero here. We're not talking about anything that is overdramatic. We're not talking about something that's cartoony. We're not talking about typical geeky stuff. We're talking about real human drama with these characters. Yeah. And I, and I felt so, I felt so embarrassed, so cringy, so scared, so nervous. And the way that's seen, that that scene ends is so awkward.
And what's even more amazing is that I felt sorry for Omni Man. They made me, I hated this character. And I said, there's no way they're going to make me feel anything for this piece of shit right here. And the way that he's so alone now, somebody is trying to make amends. And he should be. But I was like, I felt bad for him. I really did. I said, look, I wouldn't even forgive your stupid ass, but I feel for you, you know. Yeah. You brought this on yourself. Right, right. Man, y'all have to watch. So you got a while before we get to know you, I think starting pretty soon. Those next episodes that come out, you got to watch those just see, just to see his story arc. Right, right, right. So is it only six episodes this season? Or is that almost eight? Okay. Well, they only gave us six. Okay. So something's going to go down the last two they don't want to see. Right, right. Yeah, man. Mark in this man. Mark is having to make some hard decisions.
Oh, yeah. Man, if y'all haven't, and having to live with those decisions. So that's another thing with this man. We can go ahead and talk about the horrible things that, that, you know, somebody like, like, like Omni Man did. But you, here's another great part of this story of this show. Mark has gone through a lot of the show, trying to be a superhero, looking down at everybody, talking about, you know, I will never understand that person. That person's evil. That's terrible what they did. How can you work with somebody that's committed all these atrocities? And now he's beginning to see, you saw that episode. I mean, I'm already seeing it. The episode where he acts, I don't want to say what he is, but he makes a real, a co-hearted decision. And it's like, you kind of had to do it. Right, right. Because, yeah, because, you know, with Dr. Langstrom, you know, opening all those, those dimensions with all the different inventables coming and destroying, you know, killing so many people. Mark is feeling really guilty and responsible. And, you know, and people are kind of blaming him.
Like, well, all I know is I saw you kill my, you know, my, my, my wife. And it's like, it's not me, but he's feeling guilty. But yeah, that thing you're talking about, that is a hard decision. And yet, it was kind of an easy decision. It was like, it's a thing you really don't want to do. And he tried not to do it. But when you came down to it, it's like, man, Mark is so well written now. Because first of all, Mark has to stop being a hypocrite and start realizing like, yeah, these decisions that we have to make our heart. We're not, even though it's a comic book show and it's animated in his world, he's like, we can't live like comic book comic, our comic book superheroes. Life is not that black and white. And he's having to make a lot of decisions. I mean, this character's and his story's written so well. Because first of all, you know, you feel bad. You feel almost angry at him in the beginning. And then you think about what you had to do it. And then you start to realize, damn, this guy's still a kid too. And he's had to make some really hard decisions that has clearly given him PTSD.
And he hasn't even, he can't even drink yet. Right. And this and he gets called into battle every day by the government. He started a business with his girlfriend, invincible ink. And he had something to get paid. Yeah, he's given his way, given his money away. So the way they wrote this guy who's having a burden on the world on him, you can't even take a break. And now you've got to go fight super Nazis in a battle. It's like, man, they do a great job of just making exhausting and the best way of watching this character. You feel bad for him. I mean, just like when the comic started, he's the new Spider-Man. Yeah. Yeah, he really is. And the scene where he has to make that decision, I'm not going to show you everything. But the scene where he has to make that decision, man, it is the going into the, you know, moving from character to story and talking about animation here. And some of the action that they do here, man, the fight scenes are amazing in here. That's one of the things that's always been consistent. Even the show is taking a story dip. The animation has always been incredible. Yeah.
The biggest fight scenes are so, so suspenseful. Because look, you know the heroes will win, but that's what makes a good action scene, a good fight scene, a good suspense scene. Even though you know somebody's going to come out on top, you still feel like they might not make it. Oh, yeah, yeah. I mean, you kind of don't know that they're going to come out on top. The way things happen here, yeah. Yeah, I mean, even though I'm pretty sure, sometimes in the middle of, I still feel like, I don't know, man. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not caught up, but this show will very quickly go. You see this, child? Crack, oh yeah. Crack, rip. Oh yeah. The odds against them are so great sometimes, you feel like there's no way that they can get, they're going to get out of this. You know, they are. They have these, the squids that come in and take over people's minds. And they, and somehow somebody fucked up and got a few over the earth. And if they don't contain this, he's going to take over the earth. So we're going to take it in like that. It will spread, it spread so fast. And there's an action scene. The animation is great. The action is amazing.
And the suspense is incredible because they really do make it seem like the odds are against them and they might not get out of it. Don't jeopardy at 4%. Get that messed up dirt there. On my way. You'll get used to your new simpiosis. Humans are second to its one. Forever. Forever. I was like, oh holy shit man. I was like, I know he's going to make it. The show is called Invincible. But God damn, I was like, how? Oh, if nothing else, how you going to get out of this one, right? And I guess that's the key. Maybe you'll know they'll get out of it. You just don't know how. And episode five has an epic fight scene.
And you know it from the books. I'll just say it's epic again. It's about as it's suspenseful as this. And it goes on and on. And you feel the anger and the rage behind that fight for this animation. But it's also really nasty. Nasty than this. There's a fight scene where somebody's just got to get pulled out with it, fighting the whole time. And you're just wondering like, how is that? And they're so mad. They can go. And you go, yes. And you're like, man, how you going? OK, I can understand. When they're drilling, when they're drilling, where it's up, you're going to feel that scene. So it's like a clown getting mad that he keeps pulling out cloth. It is. It is a dude's fight. And somebody who's fighting like, you know what? I'm just going to pull you on testers. I'd be like, no. I'm mad. Hulk is nose. Yeah, somebody said, well, hey, listen, somebody said, chill. I didn't get any way. I just told you, I didn't give you any names, anything. I just told you, it's just, it's just, you know, it's an epic fight scene. You don't know when you see it. Ignore them.
I'm not even caught up the season four. And I'm not totally paying attention. But I don't feel like you've spoiled it. No, I didn't spoil anything. Stop, stop it, you know. But man, out of all the fights and all of the cool superhero stuff and all the villains that, you know, and the moral dilemmas in here and how you think about good and evil. And all the storytelling that's going on here, the show does still have a lot of heart. It has a nice drama. I mean, you know, this meant, like I said, this is the animated show. And they have some really good music that they've timed well in here. And the, and there's a lot of, I would say that sometimes the drama and the personal stories rival the action in a different way. Sure, sure. And just, you know, where they are at the end of this third episode, it makes me think to like, in comics, what's going to happen. And I was like, this is a point where this story started to do some things that no comics have done.
Yeah, yeah. So take all the superhero stuff away, all the geek stuff away, man. And you got some really good human stories going on here that are told well. And again, just, you're going to forget you're watching animated characters because they're doing it so well. Debbie, Mark's mom, she's got a new boyfriend, Paul. And they got some really good scenes with her. Getting close to Paul and the family, the, you know, the boys adjusting around him. And, and, and again, they're, they're just a family. They're not, I mean, all of it can't help because all of it was fucking purple. That's sometimes, right? No, he's purple all the time. You know, he's, he's, he's, he's an alien kid. Or he's, you know, he's got a different species up in him. He's a little less purple than he was when he was. Yeah, that is true. Yeah, as he gets older, he gets less purple. Yeah, but, you know, he, but other than that, take, you know, they're, they're all just, all just sometimes it's focused on as a family. And those scenes are done so, so well, man.
Plus, Paul has impossible shoes to fill. Like, even in the third Oliver, no, no, Paul, oh, Paul, yeah. Because even in the third season on their first day, he's like, yeah, I know those pastas, nothing like how it is in Italy, which your husband could just take you there in five minutes. And she's like, full, my husband committed mass murder and tried to do genocide. You're like, you were perfectly fine. I need normal right now. Yeah, Paul is still hard to not be insecure, but yes, you're right. Yeah, yeah. Plus, you know, when you're a man, go come back. Yeah, is he dead or is he gone? Yeah, yeah. And, you know, man, with these, you know, when you have these actual human subplots, they work well because you have, you need them. After so much suspense and after so much violence and gore because a lot of these battles, man, a lot of these battles when they're done, they have consequences. Now, I would say, I still have a complaint with this.
And that is that when they get into some of these fights, they do the thing where, you know, they're tearing up buildings all the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, and people just either are conveniently, no one went to work that day. Are they just not showing it? Are they just not showing it? Yeah, but they, you know, they tear up a lot of buildings. But, you know, there's a lot of stuff, man, that they do here that after it's done, it's, you see dead bodies everywhere. You see people getting torn apart. And so you need those human moments. You need those moments acquired. You need those moments of characters being really nice to each other. You need to settle them on the M.S. humans, even if they're alien. And I think that's why the silliest stuff works. Because after so much violence, man, even with the, and even the drama, you know, that's serious. You need a moment to just laugh. Sure. This is an animated show. So they can get away with that. Mm-hmm. You know, but they do a lot of spoofs in here. That's another thing. They do tons of spoofs and parodies. And the parodies and the spoofs,
I thought we're going to be annoying. They do a big Star Trek spoof in here. Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah, they make fun of the Enterprise, being an old ragged ass shit. The crew is inept. Welcome aboard the venture. You may call me the captain. This is Warg, download, and counselor Tuva. We are the finest ship in the Coalition's Navy and at your service. It's perfect. You know, that's, that's something that they could make fun of and do it in a way that these spoof movies do. But the reason why the spoofs works so well here is because, again, the writing has done so well, that even the stuff that they're spoofing, they become main storylines, are part of a main storyline. The characters out of spoof, they are real characters in the show. Well, you watch all this with them and say you've never seen or heard a Star Trek. Yeah, you're fine. You'll just go with this as it is.
Yeah, yeah. It's, you know, we know it's Star Trek, but if you don't, it's a part of the story. Mm-hmm. You know, these are still characters at a part of the story. So it would be hard to not know that iconography, guy in space in a red shirt. Come on. Yeah, yeah, then. But man, touching on though the satire element, mentioned squids flying around. Was that a watchman reference or War of the World? Or something just to coincidence? No, no, no, no, no, that would be, it would be more like starro from DC Comics. Oh, no, it's just, it's just something they do. But yeah, I would say that because the writing is done so well and the characters are done so well, I don't care. I'm a person where I'm open-minded about all genres. You know that. I love everything out there. But one of the things that I do have that I have, if I ever had this criteria for something, if I ever had this, you know, if I had a, what would you call it, man?
What's the worst word I'm looking for here? If I had a rubric, I don't know what that is, but I'll take it. If I had a rubric skew, I'll know. What the college, you know what a rubric is? Actually, I don't know what a rubric is. It's like, you know, like a legend, you know, like explaining everything. Yeah, yeah, man. You know, if there's one thing that I really am a stick look for with everything that I watch, if you tell them the story, just tell the good story. Sure. If you're writing characters, write good characters, and they will work wonders in any kind of genre that they in. And that's, and right now this show is really one of the best written shows out there. These, these are some really deep characters. And as I said, they are, they are that way because again, nothing here is done in black and white. You know, there's, there's, they always explore the different side of things to make you see. All right. And then they make you question everything. Sure. And they make you feel for characters. You thought you wouldn't feel it for. And I remember having that feeling when I first watched Game of Thrones. So I'm kind of having that feeling with this show. So what you think about the first three episodes,
like I said, I liked them quite a bit. I liked the first two and loved the third episode. Yeah. I can't wait for you to see the, the next two that come out, man. Yeah. No, the next three. Yeah, I'm just, I'm just thinking, okay, we're at that point. I know what's going to happen. Yeah. And with this, and with this, and man, that's going to be something to watch, this play out. I can't wait for you to see the whole arc with, with all that too, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's one of those three I was counting. Ooh, that's painful. Yeah. Ooh, yes. Yeah, man. You've been in class and had a student fuck up and teach them, make them get up and apologize for the whole class. Now explain to the class, what is a root break? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and the kids just had their head down here. Everybody's like, I don't want to see this shit. Right, right, right. Yeah, this is, yeah, this is, this is great, man. I would highly recommend this. I give this, you know, where this is going. I don't want to rate it yet, but so far it's going on very much a full price. Yeah, they might hit better in sex in the last two episodes.
Man, you know what, I've read the comics, but I haven't finished it. And I've read everything that they've done here, but somebody tells me it's going to start going to a place where I'm not going to know now. Yeah, so it depends on what happens in the last two episodes. So yeah, we'll see. We'll see. Oh, let's see here, y'all. So what do you want to do? Yeah. To the right. Yeah, yes. Yeah. Let me see. We got here, yeah. You can probably don't get by. So Mr. King, where's your box office? Here, some, oh, there it is. All right, so it is indeed the top five and at number five, we got Reminders of him Remind me what that is again
New Colleen Hoover movie It stars Tyrick Withers and him. Yeah, yeah, I know another movie with him. It's like he's stay away from that So Summer bitch. It's funny because he was he's an athlete who had an injury This is the man you can't you watch as that's a sequel to him Like show me it outside would it be a sequel or a prequel? Yeah, I guess it I guess it would be a sequel because he's like he's a little bit older Yeah, yeah, he escaped that That uh They that football camp in hell and then he lives in a small town Yeah, that shit was so crazy went to a small town Went around some normal people right, right, yeah, we can't gross on that is eight million dollars I know last week it did some good money and domestically is that 33 million so it's been off for two weeks Worldwide 54 million so that that author has our fans who always come out that's what I think but uh, yeah This movie is aggressively bland so you saw it. Oh, yeah, I saw it
No really, so that's your that's your review aggressively bland. She wants her she wants to be able to see her kid and the grandparents so like no no And he's first he she comes to his bar. He's he's looking at he's trying to pick her up Because he had never you know, he was the guy's best friend. He never met her and then he till he figures out who she is But then over the course of time he starts falling for and trying to tell them like gosh you need to give her a chance She's not that bad um But you know, the whole time she's walk around angry or sad But it was like oh this kid this is kind of interesting even though they're doing everything they can't make it not And at the end you find out they weren't really drunk They was like she's boiling the stuff
Well, I don't know if it's a big spoiler because it's not it was just the thing when they go back to it You're like oh, this really wasn't and it was not a big thing at all. Okay Yeah, yeah, somebody said it's like an okay idea that it was not executed right? Yeah Yeah, yeah, like it was never gonna be up here But even in here is like y'all just like stepping on it That's what it sounded like I didn't see that I was going I was actually going to go see enough. I got about it So there you go Reminders of him Which Martin will quickly forget I don't see it number four Ready and not here I come we can gross 9.1 million dollars worldwide 11.9 budget is 14 million So this is not doing that well and this was this is of course a sequel already and not which did very well I actually like the movie a lot, but This is a long time after that movie came out right that first one 2019 that's the before time different world. That's true. It was funny when I rewatched the first one
I was shocked opens with a fox search light. So that was like one of the last like official fox movies Okay, like the during the Disney movie. I think I think that was released during it. Oh, okay This is still coming out by a fox search light Yeah, I didn't see it at South by but just by the right who saw it came out going like it's not as good as the first one You know what we got to do. That's why you saw it. Yeah, I saw it Yeah, we gotta do a review for our members. So I will save that opinion or we do that But yeah, this is yeah, you know, it's got good reviews And people are saying you know, it's it's all right. It's entertaining, but this is something that just it It's just been too long especially after COVID. I guess so yeah, just people just you know, do they They kind of moved on from this Impressive budget, though. Yeah, it doesn't look like a 14 million dollar. No, it does not It does not which is why I shouldn't make that money this weekend. So, you know It's an impressive budget that they made it with that it is really is I'm not even thinking about that But it's not good news for the box office 11.9 million. It should be worldwide
Damn, yeah, 9 million dad. This is not doing that well. It's considered kind of a dud Well, let's go ahead and get in number three They're heard or heard the revenge I was like man, would you quit fucking around? We're gonna shit to do Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt Dirt I said it is the ending movie I know nothing about yeah, but it's one of those movies that again Crazy box office times. It's a slow week and this this foreign film did very well Uh, now you might not think it did well looking at The box office here, but worldwide is done 50 million That's on a budget 30 million. It's good enough to come over here and having an audience of gross 9.6 million here So I think it's all trail for that looks awesome. Right.
