The STD Crisis In America

The CDC published a report revealing that sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) have become a are on the rise again in the United States. The report shows a steady rise in the cases of syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, leaving no doubt that urgent action is required. While the impact of these diseases is felt across different segments of the population, young people and minority communities are disproportionately affected. In this episode I discuss this health crisis, its causes and what can be done to slow this disturbing trend down.
