Assalamu alaikum, Rahmatullah, Wa Baraka, to 9 minutes past the hour of 9 being a Thursday, it is the social program with Manana Ibrahim Daya. My name is Ahmad Wajar, I am sitting in for Manana Ibrahim Daya and I will be hosting the program. The program today will be, it's an interesting topic, so it's an entire book that Manana has been going through and there's various chapters, very, very, very beautiful, very, very interesting chapters in this book. We're going to conclude the discussion that has been going on from last week, how Nabisullah, Huali, Hussalam had dealt with those of high status and while the book itself is how Hussalam, Hussalam treated them and that is what made Nabisullah Allah, Hussalam so remarkable because he dealt with various people, people from different backgrounds, people from different countries, people from different regions. There was Sahaba, Radilatul that came from Makkah, Makkah, Ma'id, then there was the Ansar that came from Medina, then the
O's and the Khazraj and their battles that they had to go through, but he had to bring you unity and he had to unite the hearts of these people that came from such different backgrounds and then those people that came and met him invited people to Islam, certain people were poor, certain people were wealthy, certain people were rich, certain people were famous, but how he dealt with these different people, that is why this whole book, how he salallahu ala salam treated them is a really remarkable book. So inshallah, we go for a break now and after the break will be joined by Manonai Brahimbaam to take us further through the chapter that we discussed today. Alright, it's 13 minutes now, Pastor Alaw of Nine, we welcome you back to the Airwaves of Radio Islam International, as we said earlier and you would have heard on the promote, this is the social program, my name is Ahmad Wajah and I'm very fortunate today because I get to host this program. Let's welcome Manonai Brahimbaam Sahib onto the program, Manonai, salam alaikum, Rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, we hope that you are doing well, Manonai.
Manonai, we trust that you doing well, the weather is holding up quite good for you as well. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, I had a very interesting trip to the UK and Alhamdulillah is always good to meet old friends, relationships, relatives. And I was there for five or six days and had four, five sera programs across London. I didn't get a chance to go to other places so it was only in London, but Alhamdulillah all in all, a very interesting and a very good trip and we make do other than let them accept and make it beneficial. I mean, I mean, and a good time I was supposed to travel that part of the world and now when it's still hot in summer. Yes, it was good, there was quite a bit of a heat wave before I came so with the time I came the weather did settle down quite a bit and I hope the light was quite good, Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah, Subhanatullah, Mauna Stravel, Samaeens of Success and bring Baraka and blessings into it. Maa so we're going to carry on, I think from the last chapter that Maa stopped us and then
obviously we'll move on from there. So the last chapter that Mauna had taken a look at was how the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam dealt with those of high status. And if there's a Maa wants to do a recap and if there's anything that was left over from there that Maa wants to share with us and the listeners. Yes, there is quite a bit that I think that was left over in terms of one or two of the incidents which I felt was so interesting when you said when I do the small reading of it last last night. So what you said that maybe a Karim saw Sallam dealt with different people and it's very interesting. As it was, Suleiman Nadvi Ramatullah, the father of Prophet Sallam and still alive and who is in German. He's father Mauna Suleiman Nadvi, Ramatullah, Alhamah Suleiman Nadvi who wrote the Kitab siratun Nabi. And I like to share one very interesting incident that when Alhamah use of Qardar we came to Sallafrica.
I think it was only with it. So in a talking new town, Amidya Majid, a professor Sallam was here and someone alerted Alhamah use of Qardar we that professor Sallam Sallam he made him stand up. And he said I haven't read a better book on Syrah than that which was spent and authored by the father of this gentleman. And that was Mauna Alhamah Suleiman Nadvi Ramatullah, Alayuh El from like no one know to the Alhamah. So in his Kitab he has written that there are four essential ingredients for an ID lifestyle. I won't go into the details. I just want to make mention of one. So when he said that to follow an ID lifestyle, the lifestyle must be authentic, it must be perfect, it must be practical and it must be comprehensive. When you say comprehensive it means that it must cover all aspects of your life. Now when you look at that ingredient for an ID lifestyle it was it is essential for Nabi
Akarim Sallam to be Oswai Hassanah to deal with all sectors of the community, to deal with the poor, to deal with the wealthy, to deal with people who are socially influential, to deal with those who are physically challenged, with his family, with his wives, his children, his grandchildren. And much of it we have already covered in the book. So in this chapter, and before we go to the next chapter is how did he deal with people who are socially influential. Now what is meant by socially influential? It means people who have a standing in community. Now it's important for us to understand that high status does not mean superior to Allah. You can be the highest in status, right? In terms of influence in terms of social standing doesn't mean you are acceptable to Allah. Abu Talib had a greater standing socially from the lineage point of view than Bilal Aviyal
Autra no. But we can sacrifice 100 Abu Talibs for the Bilal Aviyal Autra no. Despite the fact that he is no one knew much of his lineage and he was not socially influential. And there are many examples with regard to it. I don't need to go into that. But of course social status matters in the sense that Nabi Akrim Sahib some said Anzelun Nas, Manazilahum, deal with people according to the status. And if there are people who are socially influential, you deal with them. Allah the Almighty has also made mention of it in the Quran in the 15th Allah wants to destroy a nation the first signs of the destruction of the nation is that the influential people, the wealthy and influential people become sinners. When they become sinners, Fahakka ala'in koul Allah Allah's decision becomes established and Allah has destroyed the nation because Allah Allah expects much from people whom Allah has gifted.
When Allah has gifted you a wealth, Allah has gifted you influence. Allah wants you that you deal with it accordingly. So I think that is what we are speaking about. And there were many examples we quoted about Abu Sufyan, Al-Nabi Sahib Salam, Treeted Imh, at the time of the conquest of Makkah who ever entered the house of Abu Sufyan will be safe. Saad bin Muha'ah, there was a leader of the Ansar when he came to give his decision with the betrayal of Bani Qurayza Al-Nabi Sahib, he came to the house of the Ansar and said, get up and stand up out of respect for your leader. And the one that I would like to just make mention of two points before we go to the next point, one of them is the incident with regard to Adib bin Hatim. I think I made mention of it two weeks ago, but I'll just very briefly go through it again. So Adib bin Hatim was from the Bani Tamiim tribe Bani Tamiim. So he was someone who was very, very respected, the tribe of Teh.
So his sister was taken captive. She told Nabi Akarim Sahib Salam, you know, when Nabi Akarim Sahib took her captive and she was in the courtyard of Majin and Nabi Nabi Akarim Sahib Salam when he captured and they took her prisoner, the brother Adib bin Hatim took his family and went away to the Roman Empire. So she came in front of Nabi Akarim Sahib Salam and Nabi Akarim Sahib Salam went past her and she said, oh my sins of Allah, the father has died, that KTK is absent and I am a human who cannot serve anyone. So bestow a favour on me. So Nabi Akarim Sahib said, who are you? He said, my father is Hatim Taib and my brother is Adib bin Hatim and Nabi Sahib said, Adib will fled from a line his messenger and she said, yes, unfortunately, but Nabi Akarim Sahib showed her certain respect because her father was well known for generosity
and one rewired although not in this book, it is said that Nabi Akarim Sahib said, your father had certain qualities that every believer more men is supposed to have. He showed kindness to the weak and he was hospitable to the guest. So eventually Nabi Akarim Sahib said, okay, I will show you kindness. If someone is going your way, I don't want you to go alone as a woman, the time it was not safe before the rule of Islam and then she told and she came to Nabi Akarim Sahib and said, there is a group going, let me know if I can join them and Nabi Sahib then send them, send her with them. Eventually she went to a brother and a brother came in front of Nabi Akarim Sahib and she said, go and see Muhammad. I'm not sure whether you could call him a king or whether you'd call him a prophet but he is worthy of visiting because of his kindness, his hospitality and his a Khlak and his Khlak and his conduct. So he said, I came to Nabi Akarim Sahib and he said, I wasn't sure what to
expect. He said, when I came, Nabi Akarim Sahib was taking me home and then there was an old woman, a woman who came to complain about something. Nabi Sahib gave her an ear and he said, this cannot be a king. She cannot be the conduct of a king and then Nabi Akarim Sahib took him in his room. There was only one cushion. He said, I was further impressed. Nabi Sahib said on the floor, gave him the cushion and said, you rest properly. Then Nabi Sahib said, I'm invited him towards Islam and he said, embrace Islam. You will acquire safety. And then on the way, there was another person who complained about, one was complaining about poverty. The other one was complaining about the safety of the road because we do traveling for trade. The road was not safe. So Nabi Akarim Sahib spoke to that person also. Nabi Akarim Sahib said, Adi, embrace Islam. You will acquire safety. And then Adi said, I'm following a religion. Nabi Akarim Sahib said, I'm more knowledgeable
about your religion than you are. And Adi said, I was taken aback. The Vizossum said, are you not a follower of Arrakusiyah, a Christian, Christian sect? And Nabi Sahib said, that did you not take a fath of the war booty from your people when you fought your last battle? And you took it, but that is not allowed for you in your religion. Now, when I look at this, I say, look at the broadness of the knowledge of Nabi Akarim Sahib. And today we think that, to study other religions is a fit now is wrong. I mean, the Nabi Akarim Sahib said, who knew about not only the religion, but also about the sect. What was the requirements of the sect? So, Nabi Akarim Sahib said, Allah, who was a Muslim, then told him and said, accept Islam. I say, I know why you don't accept Islam. What prevents you is, you saw that woman who has destitute. You saw the person who complained that there is no safety. And then
Nabi Akarim Sahib made three prophecies. Oh, Adi, a time will come when a woman would leave Iraq and come to Makkah without fear. No one will harm her. She'll come alone and no one will harm her. The second thing is, Allah will give us kingdom and you will soon see the white palaces of Iraq will be taken over by the Muslims. And you will see that a generous person will come out and you're talking and you saw that the woman complaining about poverty, a man will come to give Sadaqa. There will be no one to take his Sadaqa because everyone will be well off. And Adi bin Hatim said, I accepted Islam and I saw the prophecies of these two things coming through. I saw the Persian Empire conquered and I saw a woman could travel from Iraq to Makkah without anyone harming her. And then the third thing I'm still waiting to see it. Now that happened in
the time of Umar bin Abdul Aziz. He said that, you know, the wealthy used to come out of the mosque and they used to struggle to get poor people to give charity too. And I looked at it, this way not only were they they were not poor, they were wealthy, they were dignified, but they were not just honest. In today's time you were the person who is wealthy and somebody is giving charity, he'll go and collect it, right? He would say that I'm not I'm not I'm not worthy. If someone is giving it, he might even make mention and he said, well, what's wrong? I'm going to I'm going to take it. So this is Adi bin Hatim. Look at how Navi Akram Sosven treated him. And then the one that I would like to make mention of which I think it's so beautiful is the one that Navi Akram Sosven, Ali was salam, treated one of the very prominent people of the other tribe, I think it was someone that let me just get the name it was. So, Jari bin Abdullah was one of the prominent people of his tribe. So when he came in the presence of
Navi Akram Sosven, because Navi Sosven knew his prominence in his tribe, Navi Akram Sosven, told him, told the people that give place for him he's an influential person. And no one no one stood, no one moved. So Navi Akram Sosven, then made place for him, made place for him and Navi Sosven showed him respect. And Navi Sosven made mention of Adif. When the influential person of a tribe comes to you, then show him generosity and show him kindness. And Jari was very very appreciative of this. And he thanked Navi Akram Sosven, Allah, with salam, with regard to it. So I think it's such an amazing thing that how Navi Akram Sosven Allah, while he was salam dealt with the different segments. And one of the segments was Jari bin
Abdullah, which I made mention. And it was amazing because the Rewired goes that maybe the companions didn't know about him. So Navi Akram Sosven, not only made space for him, but Navi Akram Sosven took his cloak off and threw it to him saying, sat on this. Jari first put it on his chest and faced and kissed it and wrapped it on his eyes and saying, may Allah honor you as you have honored me. Then placed it on the back of Navi Akram Sosven. Then Navi Akram Sosven read the Hadith which I made mention, either atakum karim or homin fa krimu or when the honourable person comes to you, then honor them. So Suman Allah, this is the way of our beloved Navi Akram Sosven there is so many examples and there is one example with maybe I will relate to, I'm not sure if you can do the the news first but then we can see what happens in ShAllah. Tumah it's it's very close to half past so maybe we'll go for the news first and then we'll continue with that but Tuzaklam
has so much such beautiful stories such beautiful incidents. Manana has shared with us and it really opens up our eyes you know to the true life of Navi Akram Sosven. And the way he interacted with different people we were of thought of it to be different. We look at it much different but Tuzaklam so much for these beautiful parables and these beautiful examples that Manana has shared with us. We're going to go now it's just about half past nine we go now we break for the half hour headlines and an ad break on the other side of that we will continue. Stay tuned. Alright it's 25 minutes left to the hour of 10 we continue the program it is the social program with Manana in Brahim Bamsab we Manana was taking a look or continuing with the chapter that we have been busy with or with the section rather maybe that Manana has been doing for the past few weeks. There is chapter four section six was about the dealings of the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam for those of high social status. Manana has taken us through some
amazing stories some amazing incidents with different people people that that did enjoy high social status. Navisala Laula Salam recognizes people recognize their status and Navisala Laula Salam treated them accordingly and in India there is great lesson for us. Let's welcome Manana back onto the program Manana Ibrahim Sapa Salam Ali. Welcome back. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Maybe also to the listeners if there is anything that you would like to share with regard to interaction and what did you learn from our elders what did you learn from people I mean we can always make mention of it but I think it's such a great them you know it's such a great subject and well you know we always get different types of people. We did we did the the chapter on how Navisala Salam dealt with the destitute. I mean just give another example. So a delegation from Tay so the Bani Tay came to Navi Akari Msaah Salam and Zaid Al-Hail was the chief. When there
each Navi Akari Msaah Salam he spoke to them and called them to Islam. They accepted Islam and were good Muslims and then Navi Akari Msaah Salam said there's been a man among the Arabs described to me except that I found that he was less virtuous than what he was describing to me except Zaid Al-Hail. For I found him better than his reputation. Then Navi Akari Msaah Salam called him and said from now onwards your name is not Zaid Al-Hail your name is Zaid Al-Hail. Zaid the the the the the bless it in the good. So one Allah and he started becoming ill when he was about to leave and Navi Sosam he do I've only saved he saved from the fever of Medina but when he reached an oasis in Nudged near Riyadh, present area called Farda he died from that fever but look at how Navi Akari Msaah Salam honoured him by giving him such a beautiful name. So I suppose that is
what we what we learning and I think that is what I'm asking the the listeners is there anything that you learn from your parents your grandparents from someone in the community how do you deal with people amongst our recent when I when I came from Karachi Marhum Musa Ajimusabudanya was someone very good in hosting people and he had a very beautiful way of you know dealing with people and I remember with Molanan Nadim came from Pakistan he is also Marhum but when he came there was a great impact a lot of people came to listen to his talk and he used to joke you used to say that Ajimusabudanya used to put things in his mouth and he used to say Akim Jalinus has said you must have this he used to laugh and he said Akim Jalinus has said that this is Papita that eat this Papino because Akim Jalinusabudanya is very good for your health so I mean what I'm trying to say is how Islam is
taught as the beauty with regard to interaction one of the beautiful things that you learn when Abulaybn Salam came to Marina Imanawara when Navi Salam came to Marina Imanawara Abulaybn Salam was one of the people who was very knowledgeable of the previous scriptures so he said I thought that this was the last Navi mentioned in the previous scriptures but I wasn't sure so I said let me go and see so he said when I went to Cuba Navi Salam first came to Cuba stay to with him went to Marina so he said when he was in in Cuba he put couple of questions and actions to see if he was the last Navi of Allah he one day brought dates and he said this is dates for charity Saraka Navi Salam told us Abba you eat I can't eat it and then the next day he came and said Yara Sula this is Hadya this is a gift from me Navi Salam ate so one of the qualities made mention in the previous scriptures was the last Navi well not each Saraka but he will eat gifts so he said that particular aspect from the previous scriptures I found it but he said when he
said his first word in Marina I knew this is the last Navi of Allah what did he say split the salam make salam make salam to everyone in one Hadeeth a. U.S.A. Abzel which is the best Islam and he said Navi Salam was ours which is the best of Islam he said to make salam ala man araft umalam tarif to make salam to those whom you know and those you don't know but here common you know a common type of criticism is that many a times people only make salam to their own kind their own group you know and then it's so said I mean why should they perception perception even linger if the jamar brothers will only make salam to the jamar brothers this one will only make salam to this one I mean that is not right I don't I'm not saying it's happening but it is something that we we could consider that it is something that Navi Akari Mishrausam said make
salam to those whom you know and those whom you don't know and then he said feed people and then he said preach our relative's kindly and then he said make the Hadeeth namaz you will enter into Islam into general peace for you know look at the beauty of it first it speaks about general relationship spread the salam feed people then it speaks about relationship brings it more closer full further rights of your relatives then it brings it more closer to what your own personal development so Allah covers everything covers our relationship with the general people covers our relationship with our family and then covers our self with regard to our personal development so these are the type of things that we learn from Navi Akari Mishrausam how to interact with different classes and categories of people and this is something and maybe people would like to maybe you could just give the the numbers for people to call or to give messages and we can take it from them ah Joshua so ma as ma said we will really appreciate is ma gave beautiful examples from the
life of the sabbar at Elanam but ma took us through some personal examples as well and you know we were have interacted with different people throughout our lives and we were have found different incidents that can relate to the topic so you can send those messages through 0727861548 that 0727861548 that's the radio islam studio whatsapp number if there's anything that comes to your mind incidents that you saw maybe in the life of your parents maybe your older ma maybe your stars etc the imams in your masjid and the way they had interacted and the way they had dealt with people every which which s ma has explained you know it's really really remarkable to see Navi Salah salams interaction with different people many times it is people that were not yet in the dean that had not yet taken the Shahada but how Navi Salah salams treated them that is what then actually brought them closer to islam that is what then brought them and and and that was the test
that they came and gave Navi Salah to find out if this is really the true messenger of Allah so any messages you can send it to 0727861548 so that was the chapter how would Navi Salah dealt with people of high status ma is that then we can move on to the next chapter now I just want to make my mention in one more samab I mean what's up and I went to London I spoke on Navi Salah salams accepting the different delegations and one of the delegations that came not every delegation that came to Navi Academy in South Islam accepted islam they were 110 delegations that came in the life of Navi Academy in South Islam many of them accepted islam let ala makes mention of it insura through either jana suru liu al-fat insura fatam or ait an nasa yad khuruna fideen in laia fwaja you will enter into islam then you will see tribes and tribes entering in islam that was in the ninth year after hejri two years before Navi Salah salams passed on and that is known as amul wa fud so the tribe of bani anifa came and they were the one of the most problematic of all the delegations that came because among them was
musaylam akhazab the one who was the false imposter the one who claimed prophethood and how Navi Academy Salah salams dealt with him and of course after the Navi Salah salams passed away the sahab amid jihad against him and killed him but among them that is the same situation with regard to a tribe sometimes you get the worst and the best and among them was samama bin wash al so samama bin wash al wash from the bani anifa now the bani anifa tribe were in the yamama the Arabs used to pass by them to go to syria for trade you had to pass by the tribe the bani anifa tribe so he was he was arrested and he was tied in the majiri and abawi Navi Academy Salah salam came to him and said samama what should i do with you and he said you know if you kill me you would be killing someone who you is justified for you to kill because i have killed people in the past i have armed you people when you people are going to syria but if you show me show me kindness i will be very grateful and there is no one more grateful than me to the kindness that is done to me and if you want
any any ransom i'm prepared to pay whatever you ask let me tell some left him for three days and he saw how the sahaba were living in the majid how they interacted and then all of a sudden one day Navi Academy Salah salam came and Navi Academy Salah salam untied him unlocked him up and he went outside Medina he went to take a rusal and he came back and he said oh Prophet of all my dear Allah before this week before i saw you you are the most hated person in my sight now there is no one more beloved to me make me a muslim Navi Academy Salah salam made him a muslim then he went to Makkah to make Umrah when he went to Umrah he told the people i become a muslim so they were against him they wanted to prevent him from making Umrah so he said if you prevent me from making Umrah i will prevent your camels going to syria for trade i will prevent it so yeah many times the people who are activists if they see there is a sign of boycottting someone harms you you can you
can harm them economically you can harm them so he said anyway what i'm trying to say how Navi Salah salam treated him that he became a muslim but so that was i think the the the point that i was trying to make with regard to it and i think maybe if if we can maybe go forward we can look at the next chapter which is Navi Academy Salah salam dealing with those distinguished by certain qualities. Jimu i think that so that that will then bring us to the end of the previous chapter of how Navi Salah is dealing with people of of high social status and Subhanallah Maratukh has such wonderful such inspiring examples and it just and it should make us love Navi Salah salam so much more no matter who it was no matter what it was no matter what the situation was Navi Salah salam also always had the deen of Allah Subhanat line front and there is what he wanted to promote that is what he wanted to see flourishing and for that he would make every sacrifice for the listeners you can send in your messages you know if what the the
stories that you have come across or incidents that you have witnessed in your own lives from your mashaikh from your asatida from your parents etc then you can send those messages through but for now we can continue then with that next chapter that will be section seven the dealings of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam for those distinguished by certain qualities. Among the companions of our beloved Navi Akarim Salam there were many who were distinguished with excellence, distinctions and superiority in certain matters some of them were excellent in poetry such as Hassan ibn Fabid others were excellent in understanding and comprehending like Abdullah ibn Abbas of the Allah turnu and Navi Akarim Salam made doofway the understanding of the Quran others were excellent in solving disputes such as Ali Radeel Lautrano Umar Radeel Lautrano used to rely much on Ali Radeel Lautrano and the famous statement of Umar Radeel Lautrano Lola Ali Yun Laha Laka Umar if it was not for Ali Umar Radeel Lautrano would have
been destroyed and also Mawad ibn Jabal who was also excellent in solving disputes others were excellent in studying and learning new skills such as Zaid ibn Fabid who learned the Hebrew language in 15 days others were excellent in their memory such as Abu Hurair al-Azillahu Taranu and he was the one who transmitted the greatest amount of things from our beloved Navi Akarim Salam Allah were he was Salam over 5,000 and others were excellent in their sophistication when it came to military strategies such as Ali Bin Walid Radeel Lautrano it was the beauty of our beloved Navi Akarim Salam that Navi Akarim Salam took these skills and talents possessed by his distinguished companions into consideration and would deal with them in such a way that suited them based on their abilities and excellence and Navi Akarim Salam took the best out of them what a great lesson
for us to learn from amongst the Sunnah of our beloved Navi Akarim Salam Allah were Salam So I think that is what this section and this is how do you deal with people who have different skills how do you take the best out of them I would say even with regard to parents you have three four children right and you know stop comparing them takes the best out of each and every child you know see which one is the best now that is something that we we never do and you know it's something that we can learn if for example amongst your children there is someone might be good in for example he might be good in memorizing there might be someone who is good in comprehending there is someone who is good with his hands you know we can we can actually we can from the parent you know I see that in today's time many a times people go to professionals
for career guidance and I sometimes feel that you know the career guidance the best person and the best to deal with the children's capacity and talent if they pay attention to it would be the would be the parents they could from the very beginning say that this child of mine has got an ability and a talent in this field let me start looking at him from the very outset when he's small how I can take him further in this particular regard and I think that is something that is so interesting that we can achieve so Hanayt really is my it really is you know the the the children every child is different every child's needs are the different and the the benefit that you can get out of every child is also different it doesn't mean you got to treat every child the same but night navis ala Allah salam treated people according to the standard that is what we are taught to do mother's a message that comes through a salam alikum hope both mananas are well excellent
program I feel it is more important in the noticing and practicing the small beautiful act of our older generations but also as in Indian I feel there was more of learning what not to do because it was cultural and not Islamic I'm so grateful as a one of the youth of South Africa for the Olamah and elders that chose to change that I've taught that I've taught as Islamic knowledge with such kindness alhamdulillah JazakAllah for that I think a very important point and I think one of the points that I would like to just sort of quickly relate to culture culture in itself I mean whatever culture you have the Zulu culture the cause of culture the Gujarati culture culture in itself is not necessarily negative or positive we have to always wait what Islam teaches us there were certain points of culture that that are in accordance with Islam right I used to see I remember that you'll find the said you know nowadays alhamdulillah there is a certain degree of stigma
with regard to smoking right previously there wasn't that stigma in fact if you look at I'm not supposed to say but I've been looking at the previous films etc you know people used to openly smoke and it used to be regarded as a macho type of thing it has regarded to be a point of distinction right so now of course people even in a airport you can't smoke you can only go into one corner and smoke which I think is a good thing I mean I'm not a very I'm also among those who regard it very negatively you know the the smoking smell puts me off in something that are you tied to stay away from but what I'm trying to say is that previously no one used to smoke in front of elders but even the younger brother if his elder brother came in here the secret immediately he supported out right he threw it out so that was respect for the elders now if that was a situation that was a particular Gujarati type of thing or when your father came you put your you put the
you threw the cigarette down now that is it's not something it is a cultural thing but it's not necessarily against Islam because Islam did tell you show respect to elders if there is a cuisine that someone within his own village or his own people you know Samusa and Karikiciri like once a judge no money came and said wherever I went the Gujarati didn't forget Karikiciri and Samusa and Papa right so there is not something that is anti Islamic or if the cause or the Zulu's or people or sometimes within Gujarati we have certain people the people of Kusati when you go you always they give you come on right they give you a certain they call come on now there's nothing wrong with regard to it it's it's not sometimes the person can have the front inclinations he can be in food he could be someone who likes vegetarian Asian vegetarian or seafood and as far as his region is concerned he is passionate about his religion there is no contradiction in the two
different types of situations of him why do we always make a difference with regard to different identities you can be as far as your cuisine is concerned you could be I'm a person who likes this type of cuisine as far as my religion is concerned this is what I like as far as my color is concerned I like this color there's no there's no problem in different identities you know so sometimes we make it into two bigger things you know there's not necessarily a contradiction with regard to culture any Islam unless there's a clear cut prohibition from Islam with regard to it and there are there are certain things that people do that is against Islam I remember that previously people wouldn't even show their daughters to prospective shooters but that's against Islam because Navi Akram Salam at Tehru told the people when you want to get married to someone go and see them because it creates love so that is what I'm trying to say with regard to the culture we have to
look at the culture and and wait with regard to good and bad very true ma very very true let's see another message comes through uh as-salam alaykum such inspiring lessons from al-Anaib Rahim bamsab of the son of our beloved Navi Salala al-Salam culture is a way of loving but we have to learn and see what is right and what is wrong definitely and and also I just to to continue whether how Navi Salam treated the different types of people right so one of them was and I think this is such a great lesson and maybe it'll be a good way to end the program so asani bin Ashabi was someone who used to recite poetry and in an era where there was such great emphasis upon people who had physical strength because Islam needed it at that time because there was so much attacks against Islam they were they were battles that were fought and maybe akarim salallahu alayhi was salam uh rea recognized and asani bin Ashabi Navi Salam one day put him in charge of the women
and children and they were then in trudem and as a superior of the law tonato al-Asan deal with him and asan uh didn't and she took it upon herself right but despite that situation about him he was an expert in poetry and he used to give Navi akarim salam and he used to compose poetry against the poetry that was done against Islam and he used to protect Islam and Muslims with his poetry and Navi akarim salallahu alayhi was salam and so tell him tell him uh asan respond to them on my behalf and awalla ayeed hu bi ru il kudus helping with jibra ila al-Asala to was salam and one one hadith that is in you know in mischievous which i taught recently to the students Navi akarim salam to say asan give our hearts consolation give our hearts consolation by answering to the correctness of the enemies and today's time how much we need it
islamophobia is rife on social media if someone can take it upon himself to get the expertise to be able to respond he will he will be in following asan if he's happy that Navi salam told about asan help him with ru hap kudus help him with jibra ila al-Asala to was salam and can you imagine Navi salam is making the duha for someone who is composing poetry not someone who is in the in the battle field Navi saw salam because that was his expertise and look at how Navi akarim salam was salam so bhanallah gave him the respect and took the best out of him with regard to his expertise if only we can learn about that some han alama that is really really profound and as you said you know the life of Navi akarim salam all of salam it's full with examples and we know about the sun now we know about the dressing of Navi salam we know about the naf al salam that the hijat salam and all of that
of Navi akarim salam on its place perfect we should make every effort to practice upon it but i think it is this and also that we need to bring to our life this and about how he treated people this and about how he brought people closer these are also great sunnah of Navi salam these are also great practices of Navi akarim salam and when we will practice on this it will bring us closer to the deen of Allah subhanatella and those arhanas will also be able to do the same jazaklamah for always an excellent program Allah subhanatella reward you Allah subhanatella grant acceptance jazaklamah Jazakullah and JazakAllah for the lesson to the sinning and request dua zinsallah and let me also say that inshaAllah this week Sunday is the AGM of the Jamat al-Alamah South Africa normally the AGM is open for all olamah and also open for members those who want to become members of the jamat membership of the jamat is open even to ordinary I won't use a word
ordinary that's not perhaps the right word but from the public people can become members of the Jamat al-Alamah South Africa upon request and upon filling a membership form which will allow them to take part in the AGM but we request dua that Allah subhanatella make it a means of goodness in the AGM the Jamat al-Alamah would be giving a report to all his activities from the different departments and the from branches and this will take place this Sunday at the Juhannesburg Muslim school premises in crossby from 9 30 onwards request dua zinsallah I mean may Allah subhanatella make it a success for the listeners if you are available a train available a value yourself and try and be part of this this this AGM that will be taking place Sunday at the Juhannesburg Muslim school commencing from half past nine. Ma'al-Alamah make it a success and JazakAllah for your time. Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. So that was mybrahim Bamsab with the social program it was really really beautiful the beautiful examples that Mara Naiaid shared with us from the life of
Nabi Akeerim Salallahu alayhi wa sallam different times different people different interactions but the goal was always the same and that was to promote the deen of Allah subhanatella to bring people closer to the deen of Allah subhanatella to invite people to Islam that was always the goal of Nabi Salallahu alayhi wa sallam and subhanAllah what a remarkable way he had dealt with these different people may Allah subhanatella inspire us and accept from us that brings us to the end of the program to stand a clock shop for myself from Mara Naib Rahim Bamsab and from our engineer brother Muhammad Irfan in now brother Ziyad salam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
