Top of the list, the evacuation at Kansas City International Airport yesterday was lifted

1:01after a possible threat. It was the aviation department that received a call at about 1150 about a potential device inside of the airport terminal, as well as in the parking garage. Airport police and other law enforcement, including the FBI, were quickly to evacuate travelers from the terminal, held inbound flights on the taxiway away from the gates during the events. Law enforcement determined there was no credible threat to the airport or those in the terminal. Once that determination was made, Kansas City's aviation department started working to resume normal operations. The terminal's evacuation lasted around two hours yesterday. You had cash Patel on this, the FBI director Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary, but if you were up there at the airport, traveling, dropping off, picking up, it was an absolute mess. I saw a video on the local news that the line back to the airport went all the way to 435. So that is a long wait yesterday. But thankfully, at least as of now, it was

The service member was seriously wounded at the scene of the attack on US troops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1st. Number three, well on Friday night, we had an EF zero tornado touchdown in Johnson County and then cross over the state line into Kansas City. This was confirmed on Saturday by the National Weather Service. So EF zero tornado about eight miles in length, 50 yards in width, wind speeds of about 75 miles an hour. So this popped up at about 1134 near Lake Quavera and it moved east through portions of Merriam along I 35 into southern Wyandotte County and then crossed the state line into Kansas City, Missouri at about 1140 on Friday night. The tornado ended near Westport where it stopped to get a drink right around Southwest

National Weather Service saying the majority of the damage was to trees and thankfully no injuries were reported on Friday night. Official charges come after two students were arrested and two were given juvenile citations according to a police department spokesperson. Now this comes of course from the ice protests. The other students are charged in juvenile 17 year old male faces one count of robbery and another 17 year old male and a 15 year old are both charged with one count of battery. So once again, the kids who are protesting ice who are all about love and feel and good vibes that went across the street and jumped a couple of kids who are way outnumbered and protesting their ice protest. Well, they end up getting hit and charged over the weekend. Number five. And let's go to the big 12 men's basketball tournament starts tomorrow in Kansas City. And this comes after the West Virginia women's basketball team won that championship yesterday here at team mobile beating TCU. So the men start tomorrow and that will include Kansas State. They play at 6 p.m. on ESPN plus as the number 15 seed

6:21against 10 seed BYU. That is the third game of the game's third game of the day tomorrow in the big 12 men's basketball tournament opening round. KU ends up as the three seed. So KU will play Thursday at 8 30 p.m. on ESPN 2. TBD who they're going to play. But the big 12 tournament gets underway on the men's side in Kansas City tomorrow. Number six. And we'll go to the other side of state line where Mizzou is getting set for the SEC tournament. They will play their first game in the second round on Thursday at 12 30 in the afternoon.
