Hey all, this fall, LL Bean is celebrating the moments people look for to all year. The first school drop off, the first sweater weather day. Love me some sweater weather. And the first chilly evening around a fire pit. Or the oven. For over a hundred years, LL Bean has been part of these traditions, crunching leaves and main made bean boots, cheering from the sidelines and Scotch plaid flannel and walking. The dog and a rugged field coat.

Grab the layers, Lord knows you're going to need them. And grab the people you love. Get outside and feel comfy and cozy while you do it. Visit llbean.com to shop the fall collection. LL Bean, be an outsider. Welcome back, Niggas and friends and additional slurs. I am Blackass Raven Berkster. And I'm doing her in the kitchen and this is the read. Thank you for joining us. It definitely is. And thank you indeed.

Welcome back to the two Niggas who talk shit and you know, I've been doing it forever and copy whatever reason y'all let us. And what we do with the top of the program is we begin with some Black excellence. This week I'm going to give Black excellence over to a lovely woman by the name of Mia Froden. She was a body double in the film King Richard for Demi. What's her name? Demi Singleton. Yeah. Demi Singleton played Serena Williams, a young Serena Williams in the film King Richard with Will Smith. And yeah, Mia Froden was her body double. And now she is playing her first ever US open singles match against the number two player in women's tennis. This is a big deal. This is something that she's clearly very prepared for.

She's from Los Angeles. And she won the USDA Billie Jean King Girls 18 national championships, which earned her a wild card onto the field. She was playing at the 10 and under level in California when single doubles and mixed doubles in sexual titles. And she was invited to audition for King Richard. And that's where she got that part. She said, I was on set for six months and I got to be alongside some really cool actors and obviously will Smith and just a whole experience was super cool for me. And obviously to be able to play the double or the role of somebody that I look up to and I've always been inspired by was truly like a very special experience for me. Oh my goodness. I I'm ashamed of this actually, but it's just now occurring to me that obviously the doubles that they use in these movies are people who are very good at that sport. Like I don't.

I'm like, I guess I just would have assumed that they trained some actress to you know hit the ball convincingly they like, no, actually let's go find black girls who does this. Who are on their way to being the next generation of bad bitches in tennis and and pluck them up out of that. So I just love that story and I love that I learned something new. But yeah, that's that's full circle. If anything is. And your defense when I was reading this I damn sure was like, oh yeah, I guess. I'm not. Somebody was like, I'll play tennis. Yeah, like, oh yeah, okay. Yeah. Why would it be some actress when you could get a girl who actually you know, place the game so that it's like you would save time. Yeah, I've been watching the US open. I haven't. Maybe I still don't know what's going on. Really? I mean, I keep trying with tennis, but I never know when it's over. It feel like you got a win.

I don't know. Is it like best of five or something? Best of seven. You got a win. Hella matches. And then that final point you got to score like three times in a row or some shit before they let you win for real. Like, oh my god. Let me call Amber. Yeah, you have like, I have a match point. That means the game point. All these points. Step point. Yeah. That's not that complicated. Right. Football is way more complicated. Football. Now I have to disagree. Why? American football. Yes. What's complicated? It's only a few ways to score. I'm not even just talking about score. I'm talking. Like play than what's happening on the feet. Yards. Stop it. Okay. Multiple different positions. Yeah. You have so much going on on a football field at the same time. That's true. Then scoring is works a specific way. But then if you don't score, here's this big why.

Now that's it. Like girl. I like America football. I don't have a ton of moving parts. Yes. So it's busier for sure. What's going on the field? Yeah. There's a lot. But tennis is just like, when is it actually over? I can't tell. But I was, you know, I was up. Not, I don't want to say all night being dramatic, but they had Naomi Osaka come out the other night at like 11 30 p.m. And I was like literally, are you, do they tell her girl you're going to be like the closer of the night or whatever. So stay in bed till 2 p.m. Because like I would be pissed. If I got up at like six o'clock thinking, yeah, I'm feeling a gold US open and they're like, no bitch, not till damn near midnight. Are you coming out? Sure she knew. Yeah. With the decent amount of time. Sure. What time that she was going to be playing. They're organized over there. Yeah. Girl speaking of that fucking look that she walked out. Insane. Insane. By law roach.

Baby. Alan Iverson inspired. I didn't even discuss that. At first I thought, okay, the braids is giving AI like what? And then they show during her match, the clip of them talking about it. She had worn an Alan Iverson shirt to her press to her presser earlier. And she was talking about how she was so inspired by him and you know all this stuff. And then they showed that he had responded on Twitter and was like, oh my God, this is so crazy. I'm a huge fan. Can't wait to meet you. You know, blah blah. So it was, yeah, but that was a fucking look. I said Naomi, you were better bitch. Ah, I just love her. I mean, I love her too. Same. So beautiful. We're figuring it out. Yeah, I'm going to try and dial in and you know, some of the goings on because yeah, tennis is one of the few sports out there that I can follow. You know what would help. Mario tennis speed. I'm not. No, it wouldn't.

You know how I know? Because once upon a time I had a wee. And do you think we tennis helped me learn fuck all about tennis? Fair. I know. I'm not. I'm not. I love me some Mario tennis. Game set match. No, thank you. Thank you. Okay. This week in hot top surpop culture segment and lifestyle. First of all, when is the, where's the, the, the mega nostalgia in anime? What's the most amazing thing I've ever done? Oh, well, you know, animation takes a while. It really does. I'm not going to rush. So yeah, because we do want real people drawing that we do not. Please run it. Let's be serious. Please don't AI this shit. Please. Absolutely. You take your time. Absolutely. No. I mean, if it was AI, I think it'd be out by now. You would be out. Right. We would have you right. We would have been had because it would have been done in three hours. So I'd love like some concept art. Maybe a little sketch of a character or two concept art.

He doesn't even always have like the final look. Let's just hear a little something to feed the girls stuff on the story. But yeah, you said we are starving. I'm like, what the fuck happened? I'm hungry. You already got me on the edge with this blonde hair. Oh, okay. You are you beckon teen a snow back into our lives. And they're like, no, when I feel like it dumb bitch. And I can't argue with that. No, I'm sorry. Did you, did you see the TikToks this bitch made when she took Callin' on vacation for his birthday? Of course I did. That one. That one in the black swimsuit. Agreed, just. Out of bounds. I just, with all due respect, I want to know what you taste like. This is insane. How do you look like this? You can't be for real, man. I don't even feel that way about me.

Like, I'm, I'm in general, I'm not sexually attracted to me. I see what I see. Like, obviously, I can see what I know. I see what the Lord has done. But. Yeah. That. Yeah. Huh, she is so far. Oh, my God. God was like, oh my calls. I'm not making it. She is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, she is. Absolutely. That is just gorgeous. If the aliens said, bring your baddest bitch out, I'm going to get me. Yeah. I'm going to get me. God damn. Shapely beautiful. Yeah. That's my choice. Like, bitches, your birthday or Kellen birthday, like on air? Like. And then both of you just, far and beautiful, triple cheeked up. Like, unstoppable. Without effort. Without effort. Oh, yeah. If Megan and Salian is the, if like,

Meg or Hot Girl Meg or Tina Snow, like what do you, if you could make the anime about something, what do you think her character would be? Mm. Well, is it, is it her anime? Like Megan is a character in the anime or is it like, just imagine she's a character. Oh, okay. Mm. Well, I don't know because my first thought was whoever the main character is, like, they go around beating Niggas up. Ha, ha, ha, ha. My thought is like, yeah, the, the Tori lanes of the world and et cetera, the Niggas who got so much to say about women while they don't take care of themselves or their children or anything else. And, you know, just constantly picking at Meg for being fine and knowing it and not being ashamed of herself. You know, the, the main character of this anime, just goes around and, and snaps them Niggas next. Yeah. That's what I was thinking. But maybe anime is not so violent like that or not so, okay. You and all the other nerds let out a party chuckle at that one.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. You're not only anime I know is theme universe and Tukki don't ask. You know that and you know that. Bitch, you're the fuck with Tukki don't ask. And I don't. And I don't. Correct. Tukki, see it on the mask. Really happy watching Sailor Moon over from the beginning. That young lady was insufferable. Like, well, she could. Oh, she could. And it was like she just never, ever said something smart. Like it was just always. You know. I mean, she was about like 14 or whatever. Right. So are all the other Sailor Scouts. The older girls are the same age. And they're like bitch, there's an alien who's trying to kill your mother. So. So could you get off the Tukki donate for every second? Right. Yeah, I think that you're, I think we're kind of in the same ballpark. I see there being like,

like an evil legion of fuck Vegas. And maybe at the top, like the head of that is maybe like, let's say it's a Tori Lanez-esque character. Then maybe there's like a, you know, like we don't even compare them to actual artists, right? There's just fuck Vegas in that regard, who are like a legion of evil. You have one specific one, right? Maybe they all have like different weapons and shit. But what the lead person does is he has robots, AI. He uses AI and robots as his like minions. Right. So he said he uses AI to like, give these robots like personality. And like he uses them to try, like they're basically like a reflection of the world. Like imagine if like, Chad G, T, Chad G, T or what's it called?

Siri one of those things. Was like in the mind of a robot. So there's supposed to be extra extra smart. But obviously AI is very flawed. Right. So those are like the regular minions that Meg has to fight. And then every couple of episodes, kind of like Sailor Moon, where Queen Barrow would send them on her jiff out to be like, oh, whatever. And then they would kill that bitch. Oh, I forgot about her. Oh, yeah. Okay. So Tori would be like the Queen Barrow and then he would have other fuck niggas who would be like, okay, these robots are not killing Meg because she's the best bitch. Okay, so you go out there and then Meg and would kill that bitch. And it would be sort of kill Billy until she gets to the final one and then kills them. Yeah. For her power. I'd really love if it was kind of like a black canary. Nothing too, you know, extra trust to a supernatural, weirdy, weirdy. Black canary and DC can like scream. Like she has like a super sonic scream that could just destroy someone.

So maybe Meg is like, ah, but then that turns into like this huge burst of. Okay. And it can like level a building, but also she's very good at martial arts and she has a sword. Okay. I like that. I'm finished. I think that could work. I do. I maybe don't fully see how it all comes together but it does sound entertaining. Yes. Yeah. There's an idea in there somewhere. I think both of us are. Yeah, I'll take that. Okay. Let's talk about some other shit. So this man, Dwayne Keith D. Davis found guilty in orchestrating the murder of two-pop. Oh, yes. I did see that. Some 30 years later. From the time that two-pop was murdered, Jury's gone ahead, going ahead and locking up Swerkeef D. Not for pulling the trigger. Right. But for being the one who orchestrated the murder

gave information about two-pop, exposed location and I think gave supplied the gun. Oh, damn. That, that yeah, they used to kill him. Sounds like the Jury didn't take too much time. And you know, went ahead and locked him up. Let me find his sentient thing. But there's no, oh, he hasn't received a sentient. Yeah. He just got it, wait on a date. But yeah, it's wild that I just read this as two-pop was murdered when I was an absolute baby. Right. And since then, I've lived with nothing, but conspiracy theories and wild speculation and I think just the decision that this was going to be a cold case or whatever. Mm-hmm. Still to randomly wake up and see this old nigga and be like, yep.

It was he set up two-pop to be shot and we're locking him up. It's like, well, I just got to take this time. Like, I don't know. He worked on his schedule. Well, I mean, I do remember when they first announced that this was going to be like a trial or whatever. And then when I saw the headline about him being convicted, I went in and did you know that he was convicted because he said that he did this. Yeah. I said, oh, this is why you niggas got to stop self-publishing because he put it in a memoir in 2019. It's called Compton Street Legend. If you don't know about it, he was like, yeah. So I was in the white catty. Um, I procured the gun. I set all this shit up and I did what I did because I'm a Compton legend. And so they were like, yeah, exhibits eighth through Z are this niggas own words and his lawyer had to be like, you're not niggas just be talking.

Girl, if I was a defense attorney, I would have to. If I was the prosecutor, I would have fully open with my legs crossed and that book, that memoir open to the specific page. Yeah. You know, I'd like to direct you to page 37. And which Mr. Davis clearly stays there. He is the problem. Here I come with 12 hard copies for the jury. So you can just peruse this at your leisure. You know, don't let me rush you into anything. This niggas, right. Sad he did it. Here goes the book. You can just read it. I three whole punched it for you. The pages that matter. Oh my God. Yeah. So this he would have probably died never being held accountable for this had he just never published this little book, pamphlet memoir, whatever. I don't know how long it is, but yeah.

So niggas going down by his own court. I hope you're, you know, jailed get up is blue. It looks like it is. Mm. Well, if you're really a Compton street legend, you might, you know, have a good time in here. I heard the OG's and then be getting all the talkies first in. I mean, they probably already knew like you seem like probably a bunch of niggas new. And they go say nothing because niggas don't do that. So they go welcome him. Right. They're like, oh, yeah, you really play yourself, bro. That's crazy. I wonder if anybody will be like, wow, niggas, I bet you're not going right, shit. Oh, where? That's just when I saw that detail, I said, wow, you really just can't let a nigga get in the way of fucking himself over. You just, they will always take an opportunity. I wonder did he mention this to literally any woman while he was thinking of writing this book?

And did maybe just even one woman say, you know, confessing to a crime, especially one like murder. It just doesn't feel like the sort of thing one should put in writing. You know, just a meal, like a great idea. But here we are. He looks like he doesn't let women in his life speak. Well, yeah. And you know what? Then you got what you deserved. If that's the case, you got what you deserve. But again, I think he will be welcomed with open arms since the present. Yeah. He will have first day with bottomless hooch and free dope. And go for him. Enjoy it. Nicki Minaj is going to be judging a Trump administration reality show. And it's at this point that I just asked God to hurry up with the asteroid. What do you mean a Trump reality? So what? This bitch niggas basically doing their price.

No, no. The Trump administration according to Fox News bringing a $1 million small business pitch competition to Washington next month. Nicki Minaj Grant Cardone and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebya will judge the five finalist with Dean Kane hosting this reminded me of a Dean Kane issue. That's right. Apparently you'll take place on September 18th. They will award $400,000 to the winner. $400,000 sound stupid. It does. And I don't. Isn't this something like the president not supposed to be doing? Why? Yeah. Is the president supposed to be producing reality TV from the over office? Like is this? It just kind of seems like you're not supposed to be doing this. I'm thinking what are you doing? I nothing is real. Nothing is real. Nothing anymore. I just did ministry. Find the member a couple weeks ago. And I played that past three from that young man who sat there.

Yeah, just bring that. Just bring Tevin back. We need to have him to say it all over again. Cause you're young. What the? Yeah, nothing is real. Nobody. Nobody else is. Nobody. No money. So. Well, Nicki Minaj is very excited to be taking part in small business administration's million dollar pitch competition. Great name. She retweeted the Fox News post and said, this is a major, major key with the key emoji. I think she means coke. So looking. So looking forward to this. Imagine being a part of the Trump administration's initiative to support small businesses.

Now, imagine that I won't do that. Let's go. Why would I do that to myself? Why was she made music? Such a long time ago. I love not being on Twitter because I never know what the fuck she's up to until like, I love that. Cause what girl? I forgot she spoke so wack. Like the follow up really got to be documented. This is. I mean. Gosh. So like, do you remember that loony tunes cartoon where Daffy Duck was playing Robin Hood? No. He was trying to like swing through the air or some shit like that. At some point he ended up tripping down like a bunch of shit and keep hitting trees. And Porkey is just sitting there laughing at his ass. He's like a classic. A car too, but he's like singing at the same time. Anyway, one of y'all will pull up a clip of this because you absolutely know what I'm talking about. That's Nicky's fall off.

Go ahead and read. Go ahead. It is like it isn't it is a superb and cartoonish. Follow up. Cause he feels like it didn't have to happen. And it didn't. And it's regard right. And you know what could have saved it therapy. Oh, had Nicki Minaj gone to therapy in like 2016. We would not be having this conversation consistent. Matter. She prioritized working through her shit. She would have never married that man. And we would have all of this. It's just would not be this way. She is. This is a cautionary tale to everybody who comes up on some money and all of a sudden you have every door in the world open to you and you're surrounded by people who can do anything for you. And your fortune has just completely changed. You really got to prioritize yourself. Nicki Minaj never prioritized her mental health. She never prioritized really addressing what is going on in her life or why she was doing things

that are harmful to herself. And now look at her. Now look at her. Sucking Trump dick married to a nigga with no job. Had Cardi B on Twitter telling you about what you had Cardi on Twitter reading off the 10 most recent transactions on your MX account. Baby, what's Nicki? It never had to be like this, but that last back and forth was sure. Oh, yeah, when she said that's why he was favorite color is five or some shit. I said, Cardi, you shot out. Shot the look out. But yeah, had Nicki just addressed her shit when it first started popping up and holding her back. I don't, you know, I just think we would be looking at continued domination from higher end. More of a level of just respect and peace within herself. You know what it just never seemed like Nicki was satisfied.

Like not only did she have to believe she's the best, which is fine, but y'all had to believe it too. And if 100% of people didn't agree and if she lost something, anybody else and all the beast with the other rap girls, young girls, and not like all of that signals, internal issues that are unacknowledged and unresolved. You remember in the first season of Game of Thrones when Robert Baratheon found out about about Daenerys, when she was like, and he was like, well, we have to go kill that bitch because she's going to try and come for the throw. Yeah, yeah. And keep a wrap in. I mean, Robert Monoz. Like trauma trauma. And yeah. And now here we are. You over here is so desperate for a shreds of relevance and dollar bills that you are being a willing puppet for this man in his administration and the many horrors they're carrying out.

Like I just would hate Christmas major major. Like you said, a giant key of cocaine is going to be a lot of coke you guys. You know they doing a bunch of drugs in that White House. They not working. White. Hair on. I was good way loads. I'm yeah, cat me G. G. G. Out. Yeah. So. And how are they not dead? Like how is the present? Okay. Any day. He's moldy. Crystal. Like he's like, it's he's barely upright. Dolly Parton, but Joe Biden is a lot. Okay. Don't do that. He's at the he is one thousand and twelve years old.

And he's made up. He's thirty eight percent McDonald's. So what are we doing? I don't come on cholesterol. You got to do your thing. I'm having donals in the years. Maybe a fry. I don't know. Um, okay. Rapper Doja cat has come forward to talk about her experience with self hatred. She also admitted to having a problem with coke eight years ago, as well as problems with alcohol and combining that with worrying way too much about what niggas are saying online. Yeah. Um, did you see this? I did. I actually saw it on TikTok. So I said, let me hurry up and watch these before she. But if she gets tired and it gets talking about her and deleting them. So yeah, as you think. Um, well, I.

I have a soft spot for Doja cat because she's been open, not just about her diagnosis, but also about her journey and therapy and all this. So when I see somebody actually putting in the work to change and demonstrating through their behavior and their words that they are changing. I have a lot more, you know, empathy patients understanding grace for that. So, um, you know, her talking about having a coke. I mean, and half the time she was either cussing at her cat because he was getting into shit. He wasn't supposed to get into. Exel was not worried about it. It's at all right. And then, you know, a lot of it was, I know I'm finna say this and y'all finna be like, yeah, the bitch it was extremely obvious. You know, there's a lot of, I understand that I'm saying things y'all already know. And I think it's useful for me to admit it and talk about it publicly. It helps others. It helps me is scary, but I should still do it. You know, all these sorts of things that sound to me like somebody who is really putting in the work in her personal life.

So I'm glad to hear it. Yes, girl, we knew you was a self-hate and black girl. And when we found out you was raised by a white mommy of daddy, you know, just kind of did whatever. And then you moved to an all white neighborhood when you was seven years old and all made sense. So yeah, I get it. I'm not, I'm rooting for her, but you know, this, unfortunately, this is a lot of people's stories. And she said that too. She's like, I'm not the only biracial person who struggles with where they fit in in the world and where they belong or do they belong. Right. You know, so it's just hard to be the one person that everybody can see. And that everybody is talking about. So when she said, you know, undiagnosed mental illness plus drug and alcohol problem plus social media equals the worst shit of your life. I was like, oh, yeah, corrected does. And she said, you know, when I go online and I'm already feeling bad about myself, I'm already hating myself. And then somebody else is making comments that reaffirmed that hatred in myself.

It's like something about that is appealing. And it's, it's, it's magnetic and you are kind of drawn to it and you want to talk about it and also, you know, she put out three or four different videos. I found it very interesting. I knew Niggas was going to latch onto the coke and the self-hating thing because. Yeah. Rachel Chatt showing feet, but. As somebody with the degree, I was far more interested in hearing her talk about her progress and, you know, where she has been and what she has learned in therapy and how she's coming to see. herself and realize her situation now. So good for her to be in. Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's brave for celebrities to be vulnerable like that. I wish girl, please come to Crystal's couch. I would love to talk to you about this whole journey that you're. But yeah, that would be kind of good for her. And she was just like, I'm so scared to do this. Scared. I was just like, girl, good for you.

Go for it. Yeah. I couldn't agree. I fully agree with everything that you said. It was very obvious that she has been doing that work. So that combined with axel tearing and asking about that. I was. She was so funny. She was like, trying to be vulnerable, but this fucking cat. Now I got to cut. Real quick. My bad. I'll be right back. Yeah. And as the mother of a furry young child. I get it. Girl. Oh, I get this knee and leg knee all the time. So yeah. I'd be telling you I'll link his part cat. Just as disruptive. Just as bold. I don't know. Yeah. Um, okay. Lizzo has been celebrating a legal win after a lawsuit from a former stylist, which we've talked about, was thrown out, dismissed.

Her former stylist, Asha, Daniels, followed a harassment discrimination lawsuit against Lizzo in 2023. There are allegations of that phobic comments, racist comments, inappropriate sexual discussions, mistreatment of employees and staff. I think she said she suffered a foot injury at work, something, something. Lizzo, she and her name were taken off of the lawsuit individually. And so I guess it was left with the touring company, the lawsuit. Right. Uh, but yeah, that has been dismissed. A judge basically said there wasn't sufficient evidence. Um, to like prove a lot of the claims she was making. Although I did find it interesting that it says that there was some alleged behavior that was,

that was described as inappropriate or unprofessional. But the district judge basically said that it wasn't enough to create a viable federal discrimination case. And that the injury to her ankle and foot did not meet the legal requirements of the Americans with disabilities. I was opposed to the look, clip, hands clashed with a, it was like a written statement attached to it. That was basically like, I'm so happy to today. I'm relieved that I have won the case against me and my touring company, big girl touring. I didn't go watch the rest of it on, uh, it's on her Instagram, Lizzo beating. And she's just standing there looking cute with an absolutely flawless mug. Like Lizzo is so pretty. Oh, fucking pretty.

I don't even know if she has makeup on here. But anyways, she's just standing there and not saying anything. And, you know, I guess very happy to acknowledge that the case is over with or whatever. Yes, I don't really, I don't know, it just feels like Niggas are weird about Lizzo in a way that I can't fully, like I just can't really put my finger on it. It's not just that they don't like her music, like I just feel like attitudes towards her are very strange. And I know a lot of it is because of the size of her body, but I just, I also feel like people heard these lawsuits, you know, a couple of years ago whenever this came out. And it just kind of seems like they're acting like this is the reason they don't like her when I just highly doubt you. Niggas are y'all are packing out the usher and Chris, but y'all are packing out bumps and bruises. I'm supposed to believe y'all care about how these people really act like no.

So add a square for the neck. Yeah, y'all's attitudes are weird about her. If you don't like her music, then you know, that's fine. Everything ain't every for everybody, but some of you are just, I mean, I hate to say haters because it's so played out. But some of you really are that, especially when she was bigger. And so hopefully this being dismissed will lead to those of you who be coming at her for no fucking reason to just go get a life to leave it alone. They'll come at her for some other reason. She's black woman. She's a big black woman. She's a proud big, black woman. There's, they'll find some other reason and I like the bitch. And also shout out to you, girl, for not settling. Yeah, a lot of people would have been like, this is too much. I'm just sad a lot of Corb. But she said, no, absolutely not. We taking it as far as it can go because I ain't do that shit. So good for you, Miss girl. Yeah. Okay. So what is, what are you raven in her wife, why? You know, it's not to get out of our faces.

Like it's not to leave us alone. And I don't even, you see I hesitated. I don't even feel right saying that about Ravensman because she is such a fucking eye. She's an eye. She really is. But she's another one who. Like similar to Nicki Minaj, I think Raven has deep seated issues that have come from her time as a child star and in this industry. And all the shit she's seen. I mean, like she is one of those last ones who. No shade it genuinely worked her way up. And like from an extremely young age. So I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the stuff that she says that sounds anti black or ignorant or whatever else. I just wouldn't be surprised if Raven has been deeply, deeply hurt by people in her life who sprout a bunch of pro black type shit who. Who spout a bunch of respectability type politics and nonsense a lot.

Like I just wouldn't be shocked. I don't know if that was true for her, but yeah, I saw this clip and then I went and looked it up and found out it was old. And so I was like, okay, let me not like react to crazy, but Raven has. Clip with her and K-Lin. Yeah, the K-Lin Allen interview. Yes. I don't know that was old. I don't know how old it is, but I don't think it's like I don't think it just came out. But Raven has also been sprinkling little dumb shit like that around in these interviews and media appearances for years. And when she told Oprah that she can't be African Americans because she's from every country in the world except one. Do I read them? I'll never forget it. You know, she's been saying stuff like this. It's been, you know, often off for a while and then she got this white wife that get on everybody's nerves and. I was like, you know, I just never even really heard her and I never saw that so Raven which pissed everybody off. You know, aren't you called it T-S-R?

Which was like the shade room? Right. This is the show's name. Like why are you trying to act like you don't? Is that how irrelevant it is to you? But I bet Raven loves that. I bet she does. She has a white woman who never saw the Cosby Show, never saw in the house, never saw none of the, you know, seen on. Never heard of Disney Channel, never even want to go see them. Never heard of Cheetah Girls, don't like Cheetah print, you know, I just. Oh, Raven. Well, I don't fucking buy it. Secondly, shut up. Do you like? Oh, yes. This all the backstores weren't black thing. That's it. Yeah. So she, Caitlin specifically was talking about seeing himself and that's a Raven and appreciating how that show because Raven backstore was black was so black. And then Raven seemingly out of nowhere challenges this statement.

Yeah. Like was she black? Why did you feel like she was black? Well, let's make her, let's say the family was green. What did you hear? And poor Caitlin is like, I don't know what's going on. I don't, I'm not sure I understand the question. Yeah. It was so strange, especially with Miranda, Raven's wife, like chiming into. Ma'am, you didn't watch the show. Maybe. You don't know what the show is. You don't know how to spell Raven. Why are you speaking to us? When that white woman piped up, I had to physically stop myself from closing the browser window. Because she's like, yeah, because you low K. They really weren't black. What the fuck do you know? Oh, there she goes. Because who was writing and producing the show? White man and Raven had to go, it was, it was a mix, but white, white man, we're kind of hit. Right.

And so other than the episode, and honestly, when she first said it, I thought, okay, you know, other than the episodes that were explicitly about racism, I can kind of see the point of. You could have, you could have replaced the backstairs with any race. Really. And pretty much had a show. However, the show was that so Raven, and it was black because you were black. Raven Blackster was a black girl. She didn't act like she wasn't. You know, she had black mannerisms. She had Raven Blackster. She has black, you know, aspirations. Everything about it. Right. The way she talked. Like she just, yes, girl. Yes, maybe the, maybe the backstair family could have been, you know, any old generic thing, but it felt black to Kaylyn and other people watching the show because it was you are. The character very much was that it wasn't no suburban seventh heaven type shit where, you know, we just are our mannerisms and our ways were completely absent from it.

So that's my sense. I'm glad your mother was on in living color. She got deeper shit going on, man. She really do. I feel like real money, real extreme long money. So. So she. Oh, Raven. But Raven, I want Raven to, to, to un, to work through whatever that is. That's in her. I want her to get through that. So that. I'm always going to have love for Ravens, Simone in my heart. That lady. How can I have this? How can I not? She's made such an unshakable and everlasting impact on television film comedy. She's just that girl. So I agree. Mm hmm. Work some of that stuff out. And just tell this white woman to calm down sometime. She's not. I was pushing up off of that girl. I know. I enjoy. I enjoy that. I'm not.

It's just like, ma'am, slow your rope. Why are you even chiming in with this black young man and this black young woman talking about this black show? You didn't watch. I like. And I mean, I don't care if you're the biggest fan of that. So Raven, you're not black. We are black people having a conversation about whether the family was culturally black or depicted as black. You know, why are you chiming up to talk about anything? Pepper and we don't care. Locked people obviously have been flooding the internet with examples from a show. Right. Right. Of course. I didn't see this one used, but I'm pretty sure the pilot of that sort of Raven features Raven dressing up as her own mom or her own grandmother to go to the school and deal with like a grader. She got in trouble at school and they told her that they wanted her parent to come and

she didn't want to tell them. So she dressed up as this like sort of a heavy set woman who looked like a church, like a black church lady. She went there speaking AAV and just acted like somebody black. The first episode. You, you made the character black Raven like, and about Raven back there is black as fuck. It's like, oh, baby, what is holding Raven back in this in something's going on racially. Call Doja. Call Doja cat. I bet Doja cat can help you work through it. You ain't that. I don't know. I'm the horn. God damn line. Are you? Oh, man. I heard that they were also on key promise podcast. I didn't see this because I genuinely try if Ravens by herself. I'm in. But that white woman with with all the respects among you, she, she be plucking me.

She be plucking me. She plucks me. She just chokes me up. Yeah. But I heard they want Kiki's podcast and it sounded like she was trying to like, you know, like guilt, Kiki into a conversation. I didn't watch this, but someone told me that she said something. What does she say? I didn't receive backlash until I was on your show. Right. She was like, nobody was like being mean to me. Right. Having all this backlash from me being white or whatever until until Kiki was the one when they were talking to Kiki, it came up that she had never watched that so right. And so that's when everybody starts getting mad. And she said something about like, oh, you don't have to apologize. The Kiki was like, oh, no, because I'm insane. That you never. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not worried about it. I wasn't going to. I was just going to be like, oh, I'm not going to. She's like the white girl that when niggas in your life are like, don't bring, don't

bring them home. Right. It's like she's that white girl that they're thinking of. She's exactly that white woman that is the nightmare. Yes. Your parents, grandparents, aunt's uncle siblings, imagine stepping into that. Please, please don't bring this white woman into our home. We cannot take it. Oh, yes. That I, yeah, I just, I really want better for Raven some. I do. I, you know what? I think I'm going to blame Bill Cosby for this. Why not? Fucking not. Yeah. Absolutely. But I'm not going to go to the office and I'm just going to have some. I'm just going to have some of these. I'm just going to have some of these. Okay. Just be it for the hot tops this week. named Misha who wants to know if you, if you have ever played South of midnight, she said, I recently completed it and I loved it. Do you know of any other games that focus on black culture or history? Thanks, Misha. Misha, I'm pretty sure I talked about the South of midnight on here. Didn't I? I think so. I have no idea. If not, um, I definitely played South of midnight more than once. It is. Oh, yes, you did. Excellent. Yes. You did. Now it's sounding familiar that I'm Googling it. If you liked centers, you will love South of midnight. It doesn't have the blood and guts and whatever, but it very much follows a lot of, uh, of the themes there in like, uh, like spiritual connection to ancestors being, um, extraordinary in certain ways. Tant, uh, not taints. Oh, my god. No, somebody

got to have a taints and hates party this Halloween. Got to hate. Got to. Is this an extremely, extremely well told game, uh, the adventures and characters that you meet on it are great, but it is black raven. The character speak like us look like us. There isn't like a watered down version of the way they speak. And, and like it just, it bids, it's not like the whole, all the characters are black. It's said in like, I sort of like Louisiana, S, uh, town. Yeah. Yeah. So you have people all over the place, but there's even a character named Joleen and she has right here. Oh, I like that. Yeah. I think she's like the, she's not a villain, but it's just a reference. Is she Kriall? She got green eyes too. I don't think so. I don't remember.

But is she like a Louisiana red hit, like a black people red hit? Oh, I love that. That's all for an aim. Okay. Um, but yeah, it's just really well told, uh, story. This young girl who's trying to say from mom, uh, from a monstrous flood that happened and then it takes, it kind of turns into like a fable. It's really, really good. It's, it's, I think it won an award at the Game Awards last year. Great accolades. If you haven't played it, please play it. It's really not even, um, a lot of you have, heavy lifting. It's not super complicated, but a lot of you will probably really enjoy the story. And I hope they make us equal to it. Oh, and they asked about other black games. Yes. Other games that are similar to that that are kind of like about black culture or history, things like that. Do you know of any others? There's one called, oh, shit. It's, it's like a, a click. Oh, dots home.

Dots home. Yeah. Try dots home. Um, relatively short game. I think it's on mobile. Um, I think you played on PC. I think it's on Mac. I don't know if it's on switch. Don't you see? Not my greedy as Google turning it into dots home style pretzels. Bitch. I'm looking for the video game. I don't think it's long. Sweet. Yes. But I'm sure you played on your phone. That one's good. There aren't that many, there aren't that many games like that, which is another reason why I kept running my mouth about it and telling everyone to play it. There's lots of games with black leading characters, but not many that feel like we're in it. Uh-huh. That's why it's like on that game when this girl's talking to her mom or whatever and she likes stuck her teeth

or something. And her mom was like, um, excuse me. Or she wrote her eyes. Her mom's like, don't roll them eyes. I wouldn't even look at you. How'd you know I made them eyes? I know you wrote enough. It's like that. Ah, okay. I can feel you roll your eyes. No girl. Yeah. His fears played. If you have it. Thank you. Me. Sure. I have a couple games now that I need to. You did mention that first one. South of midnight before. So it's so good. Love that there's not a bunch of wood and stuff so I can actually play. Oh, okay. Mostly heartwarming stuff and this girl going around literally, I don't want to keep. I don't know. It's not a spoiler. She literally goes around and heals people's trauma. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Like trauma in that fable world takes the form of like different fable like things. Okay. Like a guy, a young boy who experienced something and then he turns to a tree. Got you. I don't want to spoil why or like a mother who loses their child and then she turns in like the swamp and then she turns to like a sea creature. Yeah. It's off like that. But then she, the lead girl, goes around and uses her

newfound powers to like weave together people's emotions. Yeah. And heal their trauma. It's really, really good. Okay. I'ma play this when I'm in the mood to cry because I can see this they're heartwarming. Yeah. I can see this is going to hurt. Yeah. All right. Thank you, Misha. Our next movie by said taints. And somebody's going to have a taints in hate's Halloween party. And I need to be there. This is going to be all only fans before real. All right. Our next letter comes from Jesse who says hi, Chris Link, if you're here, I have a friend, Shay, and the friendship is great, but there's just one small thing. If we're in the car together and music is playing, she starts to sing and she cannot sing at all. This is so good. I love this already. She sounds like a shaky ass baby lamb and I can't stand it. A shaky baby lamb. The problem is she thinks she can sing. Oh no. We've had conversation where

she critiques singers about their pitch or tries to quote, educate me on why certain singers are better than others. Earlier in our friendship, she would show me videos of her singing, but I just encouraged it because you know, that's what she like to do and that's what she like to do. So, but now it's pervasive because when she's in the car, I'm forced to turn on talk radio or trap or country music that I know she don't know. I'm pissed because I can't ever listen to Beyoncé or any ballad. She will try to sing it all. Like it would be cooler if she hit a chorus here in there or a couple of lines like we all do, but it's every song and the whole song. How do I tell her to stop singing in the car without sounding like a complete bitch? I don't think it would matter if she could sing well. I mean, I would still want to hear more of the actual artist, but the fact that she sounds like a drowning kid and it's sending me over to it.

The fact that she is sounding like a drowning kid is sending me over the edge and I don't want to be mean, but I do just want to listen to the classics sometimes. I also don't ever want to be the reason somebody go on one of them singing competition shows and embarrasses the hell out of themselves. I always wonder why didn't nobody tell them that they can sing who let this illusion go on. And now here I am in this situation, let into the illusion ride. Please help Jesse. What was the name of that young man who went on American Idol and screamed she bangs, she bangs. Why do I think he was like, is it like a long or something? Was this the last name, Wong? I don't remember. Hung. William Hung. Yes, William Hung. Yeah, that was the name. Yeah. Yeah, I that's exactly what I was thinking of these folks who go on singing competitions and sound terrible and they're like, oh, my friends told me that I can sing or have a nice voice or whatever. That's so humiliating. Um.

I love that your friend is like, no, a little pitchy. Hold on. What? Me. Me. For taking other people when you can sing. Oh, oh, boy. So what do you say to this friend who is ruining your car soundtrack? Well, you know, um, what was their name again, Shay? Oh, yeah, the friend name is Shay. Shay, um, you know, sometimes there are things there are troops that have to come out that are just going to come across me. You know, there are just some things that you have to say that are already made. Papable of sugar on as a coat. So I think, um, no, honestly, what I would probably do, um, because she said something like, I don't know if it would matter if she could actually sing. It wouldn't. If you could sing and we're in a car and I'm playing Morning Dew or something,

and you singing over it, I'm going to tap you like, letter, letter, what are you doing? It's like, I do that all the time anyway. Yeah. So, eyes, that's where I would start. I don't even know if I would, uh, immediately jump into wow, girl, you sound like drowning. But at least in the car where we're, you know, riding around, trying to listen to music like normal people, I was talking to me like, girl, let them sing. Like, let them sing. Oh, yeah, I know. You're your passion. I just want, let me hear this on. I said that the other day, during the B2, where is dinner when Duran came out and Juski was singing along with her. Oh, and you were like, don't go into that. You can sing. Okay. Be right. Let the singing to do it. This, uh, this is hilarious. I'm also it is. It's hard for me to give you advice because this don't bother me. I also can't sing. So we've been to just sound terrible together.

Like, you're gonna sing a whole song word for word in front of somebody in the car. Hell, if we both sing it and me the one of us can sing, hell, yeah. Why not? Oh, we're chasing it too. No, I'm saying I would join in and sing too. Oh, but normally I wouldn't sing with somebody in the car. You were saying. Right. If I, oh yeah, that's a big sense. No, I'm saying if I was Jesse and I'm in the car with Shay and she's singing and she sounds terrible. I'm gonna just sing too. Oh, okay. I thought you meant if the friend is singing, it sounds terrible that you would sing along with them. No. Well, yeah. But I'm a sing along even if the friend sounds good. If you sing and I'm singing, like normally I wouldn't out of courtesy because somebody else is in the car. But since you don't care about that clearly, and I'm just, yeah, I'm gonna be over here pretending. You know, I sing with Keel all the time and she just be looking like the other Lord gave you a voice. Did he sure did? He gave you something. I think that happened. Yeah, it's okay. It doesn't matter me. You know, that's

fun anyway. Right. Like my friends and I used to run around Edwin actually could sing. And we used to ride around in my little 99 how to say the last music and all singing. You know, it was just fun to do in a car. Yeah. So I agree. Why not join you with her in both y'all sound here. Right. I think that's what I would do as opposed to being like recently in my car told me that she doesn't want anybody to sing in it. Like that. What's the direction you trying to go in, especially because you had the opportunity to be like, Oh, I don't think you sound good. And you didn't take it. Which is understandable. It was early in your friendship. And that's a hard thing to say to somebody. But yeah, maybe if if we're ever in the situation where she's singing, like does she do karaoke or something around other people? I think I was wondering about too. If anybody else said, oh, Shay, you cannot sing. I think I would just be like, hmm.

And she asked me, I'll be like, well, for you know, I didn't want to say nothing because you're really passionate about it. But you know, I don't, I don't think you sound that great either. No. Listen, friend, I love you. Do. That's really a mission statement. Amen. But you know, she cares a lot about it. So I'm not just going to go around and burst her bubble like that. And if now if we get to the point of American idol auditions and you ask my opinion, I'm going to tell you the truth. But yeah, if you tell me that you're going to the voice, I'm going to tell you don't have one. I'm going to say now. Let's think about the people who have won that show. Yeah. And then let's listen to like Kelly Clarkson singing a song. And then let's listen to you singing a song. Yeah. And then let's decide whether we think you're, you know, there. Because like, Fantasia's, Fantasia's here and you're like over yonder. So, I'd be like, oh, friend, you should hop on TikTok live and sing them a little something. Yes. And tell people you've been auditioned for the voice so they can support you. And,

I'm blind see what they say. You girl. Because I'd rather you be humiliated on TikTok once than go on one of them singing competition shows and have that clip live on YouTube forever. Oh, but wouldn't the TikTok be worse since the children watch TikTok more than TV? Well, a random TikTok live from a girl you don't know and don't recognize. I don't know. What if it's really bad? What if it goes viral? Like, what if it's worse than she, it writes what I'm saying. Well, she's fine. And she's fine. Well, she'll learn what a way to find out. Right. Is that girl in love or her mouth again? Oh, my boys. They say I sound like Mariah Carey and now you got to be like, no, I did compare your voice to a lamb, but I did not mean. Yeah. But I would I would mostly let this go, babe. You know, the sound that people use all the time for like goats when they scream on top of a hill. Yes. Yes. That's what I'm imagine.

Oh, like, throw this source. Oh, but I'll tell you this, Jesse, if I decide to sing with her and then she critiques my voice. Oh, girl. Great point. Great point. That is a fantastic point. That's going to open up the door for me to be like, I'm so glad you brought that. Yeah. The bitches who can't sing. Yeah. Yeah. Since we're critiquing and we're sharing our opinions on music, it's just two bitches who can sing looking at each other girl. We see each other. Ah, good luck. Jesse, let us know what you decide to do. Okay. Our next letter comes from Tom Nook who says, hey, Chrislyn, if you're I'm about to embark on a semester abroad in Europe, which will be the furthest I've ever been from my parents. I just turned 22 this summer and I thought after turning 21 last year that I would finally be seen as an adult, but that is not the case. While many people are having ho faces in their 20s, I have not been able to. My parents have

my full location on my iPhone and life 360. So hookups were also new way that people invented to track their jeans each children probably gin alpha too. But yeah, it's like a family. It's family location sharing basically. Got it. So having a ho face was really not an option for me or was basically impossible all throughout college. They also have full access to my bank account despite the fact that I have my own job and make my own money. I'm not a big spender and I like to think of myself as being pretty financially responsible, which leads to my problem. I recently matched with someone on a dating app and after talking steadily with him, he dropped his only fans link and I decided to be a patron. We've been talking for about a month and over this period of time, let's just say I have supported his income. However, if my parents knew I was a subscriber

to this man's only fans, they would have a fucking conibction. For the past eight or nine years, I've been able to lie my way out of a number of situations, but at this point, it's getting tiring. Personally, I think if I'm mature enough to move to a foreign country for eight months, then I should be mature enough to have full control over my bank account. I don't share a lot about my personal life with my parents and they will probably take this as me trying to be secretive, but in reality, I just want to be an adult and have them stop questioning everything I do. They're both extremely nosy in addition to being overprotective. I don't want to keep hiding things from them, but I also don't think they're entitled to know everything I do with my time and money. How do I bring up the subject of revoking their control over my life? I don't ask them for a lot and they do a lot for me, but this is a boundary I've been trying to set for years and I think this is the perfect time to do it. Please help Tom Nook. I just got to. Yeah. Well, how does one deal with overbearing, freakishly nosy and protective parents? Because

I heard about overprotective parents of all sorts, but having two forms of tracking. On you, come on. Well, you're freshly 21. 22. Yeah, 22 and you haven't. I mean, 22 is still. It is young. Yeah. You don't have the right to a whole phase. Please. You've got plenty of time. So much time for a whole phase. Like a 50 year old. But like girl, you got your whole life for that. But you know, I do understand you wanting to at least feel like you aren't shackled to your parents and that you can, you know, go out, have fun, experiment, meet people. Like you're talking about some, if my parents knew that I will subscribe to an only fans, why should they know that? Why can they just log into Bank of America and

see what you got going on? I shouldn't be it. First of all, only fans is not going to show up as only fans like your bank account. I don't think so. No, they probably think it by now. But yeah, how do you approach this conversation? Because I can't imagine they're going to be receptive to it. So you have to be some sort of like I'm guessing, maybe you have to get them to see their being ridiculous. I don't know. Well, my first thought was when your parents are still the source of your income, then I see why they want to see where it's going. But you said that you have your own job and you make your own money. So that means they're just picking in, they're fully picking into your business. No part of your bank account is there be unless are they giving you money like I know you said you have your own job, you make your own money, but do they also supplement your income? I think that may have something to do with

the nosiness here. However, you are doing a semester abroad, you're 22 years old. I can understand the find me on iPhone and even the life 360 because you are still just 22. A lot of shit happens to 22 year olds, especially when you leave in the country. I am going, I'm still going to want to see your location. However, this bank account thing, you know, you can just open another bank account. That's true. You can just go to a different bank and open an account that your parents don't have any control over like you can, you can go if they are named on your bank, on your bank account, you can go have that account converted to like just you, you know, if they opened it for you as a kid or whatever, like there are there are options here for you. You don't have to just let things go like this. So my first thought or my first suggestion is always to sit

down and talk to them about it. You say you don't share a lot about your life with your parents and I understand why because when your parents are too nosy and too overprotective, it does make you, it doesn't make you want to share everything with them so that they'll leave you alone. It makes you want to shut down because if everything feels judgmental and like it's going to be a problem. If you like you said, if they see, if they find out that you've been, you know, tipping this nigga on only fans or whatever, they don't have a fit. So I would sit down and talk to them about it first. If they still insist that they need to have control, they need to be able to lock into your bank account or their names need to be on it for whatever reason, especially if they're still giving you money, I would pay attention to that. But you know, why not open up a separate bank account just for only fans then if that's what you want to do. Like it's not always feasible to just be like, hey, leave me alone or I'm not going to deal with y'all no more or whatever. Like is that's just not always a feasible thing. Sometimes it's easier to just have your own separate shit and let them think

they still have control over you even though they don't. So all you can do is come to them honestly and respectfully and have the conversation about, you know, I'm 22. I think it's time for a little more independence. Like I appreciate everything y'all have done for me. You said, you know, they they have been very supportive of you. So I do appreciate that. But I think it's time as a 22-year-old who's about to head abroad for a semester that I can have a little bit more independence on this journey to full adulthood. And see if they're if they're reasonable enough to really hear where you coming from. And if not, then try to take your ass over to banks America, Chase, well as far as a million fucking banks, it's a million banks. So I mean, it's a great idea. These people, you know, they don't necessarily sound reasonable. So sometimes you just got to do what you got to do. But you so the the the advice is really tailored to like how you act. And so since Tom

looks at I'm very responsible financially, you know, I take care of things. I'll be out here while and your parents should take that into consideration. If you do dumb shit, you went to college and you immediately signed up for 28 credit cards and you didn't pay none of them off. And you know, you you paying for only fans instead of paying your electric bill. Then I see why your parents are like, yeah, let us have control over your money. But you sound responsible. So just talk to them and see what they say. But good luck to you. I remember being that age and having similar struggles. So it do be like that. Yes. Please do indeed. Um, okay. I think that is a nut. Yeah. That was like three or four letters. So let's wrap up the questions right there. Again, if you have a question you would like to ask us send us an email, babe, ask three at gmail.com. We'll be right back. And so while traveling, those sorts of plants may be slowing down now. My obligations really aren't. Factored makes that so easy with their chef crafted dietitian designed ready to eat meals. I don't have to choose between real food and convenience because factor meals are ready in two minutes. So even on the days when my schedule is completely out of control, eating well is still achievable. I have been I have actually been ordering from Factorsons before they even started sponsoring the show because I just love those meals and how convenient everything is the roasted garlic chicken. They actually do a lot of great things with chicken over there. The country herb chicken and potato leak mesh. So good. I love that shredded chicken taco bowl. But I also like some of the more

premier options. They've got truffle butter for layman, or garlic for layman, and tomato, risotto. There are so many different options. You can try them out for yourself. Let's eat real. Head to factor meals dot com slash the read 50 off and use code the read 50 off to get 50% off and one free breakfast item per box for one year. While supplies last until 1031 26. That's code the read 50 off at factor meals dot com the read 50 off at factor meals dot com. See website for more details. We are back folks all around the globe and possibly out in the cosmos. It is wretched here girl. Come scoop me. Anyway, time for the read. I will go ahead and start. Hopefully that takes you long. I wanted to address whatever dumbass decided to waste their own time going to vandalize dolly parton's star on the walk of fame.

You deciding to go and scratch up this lady's star. I'm not sure if you're going to get a star. Likely because you're a fucking slag jawed. Really mouth. Trump supporting dumbass. Was the stupidest foolish most ridiculous thing that I've written quite some time. They've already fixed it. Like they they went ahead and and repaired the star within like two hours. I don't just because you were gagged that dolly parton wasn't some like ultra conservative gay trans hating bigoted mega idiot like you. Doesn't mean that she's just run around and start breaking up people shit and stuff. Yes, dolly parton was an amazing woman. Yes, she was beloved by damn near everyone. No, she didn't support job of the hood. No, she wasn't anti drag queen. She loved the LGBT community. She was a

fucking theme park. You can never touch the hem of her gown. So instead you tried to reach out for her star. You couldn't even stop that. Like how are y'all not embarrassed? How do you not do things like this and and realize you are late? It's just I'm ready for stupid to go back in a ground. Come on. I like that. I'm really ready for stupid to go right back into the cracks and crevices of the earth. We don't have room for you. We don't have room for you. Please pipe down. Please shut the fuck up. This is type of shit that is the waste of time. I don't even know how many people heard about this because nobody fucking cares about your foolishness and your shenanigans. Scratching up that lady's star of fame or walk a fame star. I can't see. Could not even imagine to nick her legacy name impact celebration. Nothing. You waste a job time and everybody else's. You could have got a fro yo. You could have went to go grab some

ramen. A donut. You could have gone to I don't know. What does that shit called Griffith? The observatory you could have gone to the beach. You could have done some thrifting. Down on a mail rows or something like that. But you decided to go out to the walk of fame. And somehow I don't even know where how you found the time and space and opportunity to do this. What? It's surrounded in flowers and jewelry. Just flowers. But yeah, I just wanted to say to the dumbass that felt like they wanted to I guess go home and turn on the news and be like, yeah, I did that. Bitch, I don't even know if you got to see the work that you did outside of doing it because they fixed it immediately because Dali Parton is Dali Parton and you're a bum bitch that nobody knows. Oh, well, there's always that. I'm finished. That was pretty. And you know, the thing. I'm just feeling very sensitive about

Dali Parton in particular. You know, that's just not to even remotely suggest that she was like a perfect person. But as far as white people go, it's hard for me to think of one better. So of all the things you could have done of all the ways you could have spent short time like coming after this lady. Okay. All right. Anyway. Hey, honey bee. It's Dali P. Oh my god. I have a so I have a cowboy Carter playlist of all the songs she did during cowboy Carter in order. And every time Dali comes on the lady, hey cowboy Carter, time to strike a match and a lot of this joke joint. It just oh my god. I literally start crying doing my eyeshadow the other day like what do you mean? Dali. We all love her. Like this is just so yeah. Y'all decided to go after this lady's star on the walk of fame like y'all are just lame

and extremely wack for that. So furthermore, if you want to talk about a posthumous pettiness, hmm. When your fave finally kicks that bucket over parades. Read before Aladdin. We before 12 in fact. Bottomless. Baby. Mimosa. Y'all are going to be disgusted when you see how we act. When that one is finally up out of here. You're going to be like, I thought Chaka in the four of groceries no more. Every nigga in the world, all the niggas in America is going to be putting something on the grill to celebrate that bitch getting up out of here. The national cook. We're doing it. We're doing it. I'm personally going on a tour. I'm hitting Atlanta, New Orleans. We're talking girls, phoenix Chicago Detroit. We're doing it. We're going to do like you do with with the Falcons losing a Super Bowl whatever. Yes. Every year the day that bitch dies,

we're having a fucking party. Yes. And you just reminded me it's time to start thinking about the theme for my baby's next party. You know, Lasha was demon slayer K-pop pussy on us. But now it's so I don't know what the kids are doing. We'll get into it. Speaking of dumb shit, bro. Did you hear about this nigga who pretended to be a player for the girl girl girl girl girl girl. I've never heard anything funnier. If you didn't hear about this, it's a nigga named Desha Love who has been going around telling people that he plays for the San Francisco 49ers. He supplemented this by starting an Instagram account where he called himself a player for the 49ers. He posed for pictures and a helmet on the beach. Just wild. Might do not on the Niners practice field.

Not in for bads. Not. Yeah. So you might be thinking, Crystal, why wouldn't you just Google this man and 49ers to see whether he actually played? Well, first of all, if you did, it came up in a Google AI summary as yes, Desha Love is a wide receiver for the 49ers. But that's because that's what Desha Love put in the bio on the sense. And that's why and that's why we don't trust Google AI summary because it simply crawls the web looking for the top result for the words you put in. It doesn't verify whether that's true. Right. And so then you might be literally also links you to the source. Right. So had you clicked on the source, you would have seen that Niggas on Instagram. And you would have said, hmm, that's not a reliable source. Let me check the official website for the San Francisco 49ers where they have a roster of all 56 Niggas. There you would not

have seen Desha Love's name because as anybody who knows one fucking thing about football could have told you some 5, 720 pound Niggas is not on the squad. Did you see? I don't know how y'all fell for this. However, you niggas are in trouble because you you niggas. This Niggas in particular is in trouble because he didn't just lie and you know, get people to give him money. He told them, oh, you know, I play for the 49ers. I have this investment opportunity. I have this. I have this. So the thing about lying is you have to be so specific about how you do it. Okay. You can just scam holes regularly. That's not illegal. But when you do it like this, when you tell people their investment opportunities and then that investment opportunity doesn't actually exist, that's called federal fraud and conspiracy. So love that. Because I was like, what do you mean he's

in trouble with the law arrested for what? Niggas lie and give women to send money to them every day. So that is actually what he's in trouble for. Not just the blatantly false lie, not just getting women to send him money, but you know, this whole investment angle part of it. But he didn't just, he didn't just like talk to women on dating apps. I call this. He, this nigga would send DMs to businesses. I saw one to like some spot out and I think Baltimore another one in Atlanta. Like he was he was willing to travel around the country for this a lot. Shout be like, I'm sure you know who I am. I play for the Niners. I'm gonna be LA next week. Y'all feel like it's hitting. I'm gonna have to come through. Oh yeah, I'm sure you know who I am. Always with the I'm sure you know who I am. I, oh, oh, do you think you are? Baby, do you know how many people can name an NFL player just by face alone? It's not,

it's not, it's not too many NFL players that are that recognizable. It's a small handful of niggas at the very top and the other 4,000 of you are just lucky to be rich and should be grateful to be here. But you're not even that. So I play for the Niners. I could train you. You know, I could, I could be yo yo workout trainer. If you want to lose more weight, I could see you my workout. Just that's awesome. The nigga had fake screenshots talking about his bank account had more than 30 million dollars in it. He had another nigga looped into it and they would do like three way calls with people and he would pose as like a financial advisor and be like, yeah, you know, this is what we invest in the end. And people who could not be bothered to go past the Google AI summary search result.

We're swindled out of more than one million dollars. And so now this nigga is preparing to head to the clink. I did see Lasham Makoi who used to play in the league, shout out to people who, you know, actually do. But he was not like, wow, niggas are so trifling for that. He said, well, actually women do this all the time. So I don't see the problem. Every time a man do something, they want to crucify us for it. But women love to finesse. You see her and you're like, okay, she seemed educated. She's and then you get what are you like, oh, this bitch is a bum. And I bet with a woman who did some like this, we are talking about crimes. Great comparison, Lasham. Fantastic comparison. What an idiot. Yeah. Mr. Makoi, we are not talking about birds that you thought had they own. And then you realize once you got what her, that she just wanted to live off your money, you a NFL nigga,

all the holes want to live off your money. You got to go get you a tailor's with to find a woman who, who ain't trying to live off your money. You have it. She won't keep you. This is what I'm saying. You got to, if you don't want to be taken advantage of, pursue women who make as much as you do or more. And it's like, it's like you don't want to know your dog. You do not because she will never need you or be all that impressed with what you believe to be your literal value. She'll be a lot less likely to put up with whatever bullshit. Because she has her own things and she can simply leave. And also a lot of you want a certain aesthetic that a woman who makes millions and millions of dollars a year might not be any, any, any like even remotely interested in pursuing. Like maybe she don't want to wear wigs. Maybe she don't want to wear heels and dresses and have her titties out and fully beat every day. And

it's very possible that she just don't want to do all that. But you're talking about oh, little hose, act like they really got they shit together all the time and then they be bumps. We're not talking about that. We're not talking about having trouble in dating. Okay. We're talking about a nigga breaking the law repeatedly. That's complete. We're not. We're not talking about the Sabre Sunbeats. Oh, Mr. McCoy, please, please. You just couldn't wait. I said, that's been on his chest for a while. He been wanting to talk about these trifling ass holes. Clearly. Because when that comes from me, he said, no, I love it because actually, you bitches swindled me all the time. I'm thinking you've been a teller story about a woman who got you to invest in some money because literally, he said, no, I saw and she was pretty. Yeah. Right. Move to the moon. But yeah, shout out to to day, John. At first, I was like free by nigga day, John. Then I saw

he had he was like scamming for real and I was like, okay, never mind. But because at first, I honestly thought he had just told a bunch of white women that he was an NFL player and they were just giving him money for the fun of it. And I'm right. And now, I didn't have a problem with it. So one thing a black woman not going to is give an NFL nigga money. Are you joking? Are you joking? Give you money? I'm sorry. You the nigga would like a $300,000 minimum contract. The city girls would never let me get away with it. It's not happening. They're not. Megan would never accept me. Right. I feel like being on say would never look me in the eyes again. If I did some shit like that, I simply can. Yeah, before. But I said, yeah, let me go and bookmark this and talk about this all the show because this is actually quite hilarious. Niggas. The video of him doing the drills with his skinny ass licks,

Sydney Washington, who was like the funniest fucking comedian. I love Sydney down. She got on, when Sydney saw this, she got on Instagram stories. She was like, that nigga's leg is smaller than my leg. And then she posted a picture of her leg for comparison. This shit is like this nigga is bone thin. And he doing these slow ass drills. The feet is slow. Like he don't. Nothing about this looks professional. Hold believe this. People who could not go past the Google AI summary. So please, if you don't do shit else, if you are going to go off of the Google AI, at least click the source link and see is it legitimate. Just I'm begging y'all to take that one step because you could have avoided all this dumb shit had you simply done that. Yikes. That's hilarious. Man, what a world we live in. What a fear. What a he don't even absolutely write the right way to get locked up. What you

in here for where do I start? Please, not where do I start, but yeah. Okay. I'm gonna be honest, I did sacred sends you the last and brow build. They did. Wasn't that so much? Love it. It was so nice. Oh my girl. I this may be the one product I actually do not need, but thank you so much because I will be using it anyway. I will be using it. I'll do. No, my friend Terry was like go and send me that. You know, you don't need that. Drop that in the mail. When I got the edge drops, I gave them away. Oh, that was generous. That was generous because holes fighting for them. So yeah. But yes, thank you so much. Beyonce and Miss Tina and the whole team over at Sacred For just keeping me laced girl. I'd really, really appreciate it. You have no idea. But on that note, I do believe that that

will wrap up this week's episode of the read. Check us out on social media at this is the read. Our website is this is the read.com. Thank you so much to Dr. Donna Oriolwell for joining me this week on Crystal's couch to drag niggas by the Napodae neck. And I mean as soon as she sat down, she was like the source of loving yourself is self-regard. And if nobody ever poured into you and let you explore things and figure out who you are, you will feel disconnected from yourself and anxious for all your days until you get that together. And I was like, oh, we, we, we just sat down. Anyway, well, welcome to the couch. And it was it's straight like that. It's just hit after hit. But you know, she's a sex and relationship therapist very smart. I verified her PhD. You know, you got to do that nowadays. But are you invite people on your braya? But yes, thank you, Dr. Donna. You can go find that everywhere you get podcasts.

My little advice show. All right. Any other news or announcements from you this week? Oh, Tainson Hates coming in October. Wow. I'm never going to get over a lift, that one. Yeah, you won't. Please place out the minute. It's so good. I have a podcast called Furious Thoughts. You can get it on Spotify, Apple Music, such which you just me rambling, the typical rants that you might know me for me forgetting when I was talking about because I'd go on a tangent birth from a tangent birth from a tangent. It's delightful. Go check that out. patreon.com such as could fury for extra things. And today, day of recording is my mommy's birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, mommy. You're not listening to this probably because you better not be talking to this. It's just say furthermore, I believe you and daddy on a cruise ship somewhere being grown. I guess you think you like a big woman now. So beautiful. I guess I'll talk to you and get back. But

there go. I'm not a big woman. Yeah, she thinks she's grown, but whatever. Oh, I guess she do. I guess I can't do one more actually. Go on a boat with Richard Farber. I mean, you stole her whole face. So you can't even, you gotta just let her know something. I was raised with everyone saying, well, you look like your father. You're all your favorite. I thought of so cute. And I'm just like, I guess I look like my dad. Plus the photo of my mother. Yeah, she was like, maybe, I don't know, 13, maybe a little bit younger than me with a wig. Yeah. I was like, why are you all lying? Yeah. You look, I'm just sad to let them. And I was about to say sometimes kids look like one parent and then as they grow older, they look like another one, but even your baby pictures, I've always you look like her. Yeah. I don't know where they I don't know where they got them from. Was that such a good size saying that? Yes. There we go.

Because I would say all the time, Y'all niggas is delusional. The more nephew you do not look like his daddy, he look just like his mom. Y'all got to stop lying. You don't have to lie. You don't. That baby look like his mama. I just believe them until I saw that picture myself. And I was like, oh, good idea. I'm not know that I'm good time travel. That's me. Oh, happy birthday to her. And be on say yours is coming up this weekend. So how much do you think? What a girl. It's time. Can we have something else special? Oh, your husband is performing. We'll get it. That don't dream it. I'm telling y'all. I'm telling y'all. I'm telling y'all. It is so fun. And it sounds like, and this is my first dance break. And this is my second. Like it just I see. I see it. I just it's so treacherous because she knows what she's doing. And it's like tough. I know what I'm doing.

I do. And you know, what if she really does want to give us things and blue is like actually let them suffer. I was just thinking that too. Blue might honestly just be like, fuck the niggas. When they officially made that manager merge, I was like, okay. Yeah. Because they knew we weren't lying. They knew we never lied. Yeah. These little news. Oh, all right, y'all. Take care of yourselves and be good. We'll see you next week.
