About this episode
On the morning of the 9th of January, 1993, firefighters were called to the Romand household in Prévessins-Moens, a quiet French town. The firefighters soon established that only one member out of the family of four had survived, and rushed the unconscious man to the hospital. But when the police went to notify the rest of the family of the tragedy, they soon realized that the nightmare was far worse than they'd first imagined - the entire family had been annihilated. The investigation into the multiple murders would reveal the nest of lies that had led a con-man into murdering his entire family.
