By 1944, villages went silent in his wake. He never appeared in photos, never spoke on record, but his name appears in the margins of war tribunal transcripts—before vanishing. After the war, Richter was listed as missing. No grave, no certificate. Then in 1963, a hidden bunker near the Austrian border revealed restraints, gas canisters, bone fragments, and crates labeled S-87.
Historians whisper Richter wasn't captured. He was deleted—erased not to protect him, but to bury what they made.
