So join us on the journey of personal growth and empowerment and let's rethink what's possible for our lives. So yesterday we separated the myth that fake Tesla quote from two real mechanisms, repetition and specificity.
And the missing piece, which is important because we're going to get into it today in terms of examples of how to do this. Excuse me, why is a question better than a statement as it relates to repetition and using a 369 method? Today we're going to fully build it out step by step, this version of the practice. We're going to help you to build an empowering question or even set of questions written with the 369. Plus, the one additional almost, the one addition that almost every other video leaves out a tutorial may skip. It's exact wording, exact schedule and one worked example from start to finish. So that's what we're doing today on Re thing podcast. Welcome in my name is Kelly, I'm your host is my pleasure to always welcome you into another informative and empowering, empowering, empowering podcast.
I will tell you that you guys are welcome here and I really like what we're doing in terms of our format and our content and the way that we're focusing in on these areas until you get it. We're going to give each subject a week and so we started yesterday. I'm not quite sure when you're listening to this, but these are posted in order. So we go from Sunday to Saturday with our content and Sunday usually our large podcast and at list all of the who wins, where, why? So if you didn't get that go back and listen to that, you can listen to this today. But want to go back and listen to maybe a little bit more sense. It'll give you the entire breakdown what we're doing for that particular week. In this case yesterday we talked about 369. How popular it is. If you've been in this space for a while, you've heard this 369 technique you've done it. I've done it.
But we're taking a different twist and we're uncovering some things because we talked about that quote from Tesla's actually fake is not really contributed to the Tesla. Okay, that's number one. Number two, how can using a question as opposed to statement allow you to not argue with your mind? Because that's what happens when you state something is not true. Your brain, your mind is a goal oriented and goal seeking machine and it's going to quantify or logically determine if what you're saying is true or not. And so when you say my bank account is full of money or I'm healthy and you're not and you don't feel like you are, then your brain, your mind is going to say no, no, that's not really true. And I want you to go back to yesterday. Take a listen because we went into great detail about the subconscious. We went into great detail about the conscious and the power in both of those states.
All right, so thank you again for joining us if you are first timer. Want you to go ahead and hit subscribe button so that you don't forget who we are and where we are. And whether you're old time or first timer, I'm really focusing on building our membership and I really would encourage all of you who do continue to listen to the podcast on a regular basis, particularly you guys because you're the tribe. You're the guys who I want to be able to contact on a regular basis, but I don't know who many of you are. I know you're listening and I know you listen on a regular basis. I know you download and you follow some YouTube. I know you do all of that because I see the numbers, but I need you to engage. I want you to engage on the membership side so that I can get you things other than the content. I want to be able to get you free support, you know, workbooks and journals and things like that. And it all it takes is a $25 commitment. And if you're willing to do that, man, it's going to be really, it's going to really take our relationship to the next level because the way we built this out for our members, they're getting this content first.
They're getting all the peripheral information that goes first with it. That means our app that means our support journals, that means anything that you hear me talk about here that's being sold to anyone else. You guys are getting it for free. You're getting it for free. Okay, so take a look at the show notes. Please consider strongly consider being a member. We need your support. I'm asking you for your support. So please go ahead and sign up and become a member today. Again, it's only $25 bucks. It's only $25 for the month you get a boatload of stuff. And when you click the link in the bio, it will go into a different website to our website so you can show you what you're going to get. So let's get into it. So again, yesterday we rebuilt the goal in terms of specific empowering questions. Here's an example. Why do I have so much money in my savings account? Or your version of it, whatever you have said, today the full rebuild practice is going to be step by step.
And no ambiguity involved. We're going to really empower you and talk about why the question is more powerful than the statement. All right, a full work example from start to finish. Why do I have so much money in my savings account? Let's say this is your question. 730 in the morning with your coffee when you wake up to the right, the exact question three times. And I'm beginning to the 369 and we're using questions instead of statements. Again, we're getting into 369 technique. If you don't know what that is, you have to listen to the prior podcast. I don't want to get all sidetracked today. But it's very powerful repetitive affirmation technique that is attributed to Nicholas Tesla. And while repetition is very, very powerful in engaging your subconscious mind, but also in giving your conscious mind and your subconscious mind,
a visual tutorial of where you want to be and what you want to do and what you expect to happen. So you repeat and you repeat. But in this case, we're going to do questions or not statements. So you write that question. Whatever your question is, we're going to write this exact question three times in the morning. We're going to start at 730. Now you can start whenever you want, but you want to do this three times a day. All right, you say if you started at 7 o'clock, that's fine. In this case, I'm saying 730. Write the exact question three times. Word for word on paper. Don't do it on your phone. Don't do it on your tablet. Don't do it on your computer. Write it now. The written word to me has much more connectivity with your soul with who you are. It's a written contract. And you're writing this, but you're seeing it at the same time. It's writing is different in typing. Okay, just take my word for it. Write the question three times. Word for word on paper.
1230 at your lunch break. Same thing. Except this time, you're going to write it six times. Same question word for word. Nine o'clock that evening, going to do it again. Before you put the phone down, you know, I want you to go ahead and put the phone down right before you get ready to drift off into sleep. I want you to write this. This is the last thing you do in the evening before you get in that state that never called that state of Kansas. I want you to write it nine times. So in the morning, you wrote a three. Now, afternoon, you did six. And then not you're going to do it nine. That's the three six nine method. That's the repetitive piece. But your question is going to come from you. Why do I have so much money in the bag? Why do I feel so healthy? Why do I feel so successful? How is it that I made $50,000 this week? How is it? These are all empowering questions. And again, yesterday we talked about this. The power is as opposed to statement, it doesn't send your mind into an argument into a debate.
It sends your mind, your subconscious mind into trying to present to you the very scenario that you're questioning. It goes looking for it. It says to itself, I must present this to him. I must present this to her through life experience. How is it that I've made $50,000 this week? All right. You want to do all that. You're going to do the three six nine. And at the end of the night, the last thing you're going to do is do it at nine o'clock. You're going to write it nine times. So 18 times you've written a six. I'm sorry, 18 writings, six or seven minutes total spread across the day that you're already living. The word he never changes between writings that consistency is what makes the repetition means something instead of becoming 18 different types of statements or questions.
Okay. And make it as specific as you can. You're on the be vague. So now the addition, the one piece that almost none of the three six nine tutorials talk about our include right after tonight's ninth writing write one more line. Write one more line. A specific, doable action tomorrow. Requires of you related to that question. For the savings example that might be move $50, you know, into your savings before new. You know, you may you may move some money into the count just to say it's growing. Or cancel us a subscription. God knows we have so many of these streaming services is they cancel subscription that you haven't used in two months. Or ask about the raise that you've been putting off as you boss. Hey, what's going on with my race? I thought, you know, I thought it was going to be great.
Not vague, but specific specific enough that tomorrow, you will know without, you know, having to think about it. Exactly what to do. And whether you did it. So again, you're going to write seven, 30, you're going to write it three times. 12, you're going to write it six at your lunch break. And then nine, writing that state of kin to sleep. You're going to write it nine times your question. How is it that I've made so much money this week? And then the one last thing you're going to do before you go off to sleep is you're going to write down that one thing that. That is specific one doable action that tomorrow you can do that goes towards that goal. All right. So the real research behind what that one extra line carries in terms of weight is psychologist Peter Goldwood sir. GLL WIT Z are and Pascal Sharon SH E E R A N. They pulled together 94 separate studies 94.
Over 8,000 people total testing what researchers call implementation intentions. These are plans built in exactly this way plans built in exactly this if then shape. If this then that kind of like a math, you know, form their theory. If this didn't that. So if it's nine p.m. and I finished my ninth writing, then I will move $50 in the savings before noon tomorrow. Across all 94 studies, people who built these goals, these type of goals, there goes this way. They followed through substantially more often than people with the same goal and know if they plan. A medium to large effect in the terms researchers use and one of the more reliable findings in the whole behavioral change literature. Now the mechanism isn't willpower that's important to know it's automation. You decide once in advance.
So your brain isn't. Relitigating the decision at nine p.m. when you're tired and the cow cheese right there. In other words, it's on autopilot. Most of our lives are on autopilot, whether you realize it or not in this chemical base. That's a whole not a podcast, but when you want to program yourself, this is how you do it. All right, let's do one more example before we close out. This generalizes past money. So your. Why am I so confident when I'm speaking in meetings? How is it that I've built this confidence up when I'm speaking in my meetings? Same clock, same shape seven a.m. seven thirty a.m. You're going to do your three right at three times twelve thirty. You're going to do six times nine p.m. You're going to do it nine times and then one action line that final axiom. I mean for you just off sleep and it could be this tomorrow. I'll share one idea out loud in the 10 a.m. meeting, even if my voice shakes a little.
It's a different goal, but it's the identical structure. That's the whole point of this template doesn't care what you point to at all. It doesn't care. This works. I don't care where it's health, finance, career, relationship. Doesn't matter. You have the template. You've got the goal sheet now. So one thing to clarify though, because this may come up. The question doesn't need to feel true for you to work for to work. It doesn't need to feel true. That's the entire point of using a question instead of a statement because with the statement, it's very declarative and it's going to feel true or not. You're going to give yourself away. But the question doesn't it's a completely different science, completely different psychology. You're not required to believe it. For example, if you say I have so much money in a certain way, you have to force yourself to believe it as a flat claim. You just have to let your mind go looking for the answer.
Because just like in a declarative statement, your mind is going to go searching out and susciting out anyway. But when you ask the question, it's going to bypass the conscious mind and go straight into the subconscious mind. And then your subconscious mind is going to say, well, why do we have so much money in the bank or how did I become such a great speaker? So much smaller ask and it is something that actually works. I want you to try for at least the next 30 days. So what you do this full set, do your questions in 369 start at 730 12 and 9 730 AM 12 noon 9pm. And don't forget your one additional line after the nine. Okay, and night. That's your action for tomorrow. So what to do? What to do? The moment this starts to feel repetitive or the moment of day gets away from you tomorrow.
So hope you guys. Well, not I hope I know you've learned something today. This has been new to us. It's very important. We're going to come back again tomorrow. And tomorrow, we're going to talk about if your question still feels fake to you, you skipped a step. And I'm going to show you how to fix it. But that's tomorrow. It's for today. I want you to listen to the podcast again. Go back through. Take your notebook this time. Write your question down 730 noon and 9pm and then your extra step. And then I want you to come in the comments and let me know how this is working for you. Listen to it all over again. You're going to hear more the second time. Thanks again, guys.
