The Power of Voice and Public Speaking

Khalila Lister, founder of Power of Voice Academy, comes on today as a TedX speaker and homeschooling mom of 4. Today, she trains people to take the stage or just gain confidence in public speaking. In this time of trial for the ummah and particularly for the people of Gaza, we are seeing more people speaking up for liberation. They’re making their cases more freely than they’ve ever been able to do before. Thanks, social media!

If you’ve always shied away from the stage or the mic because “it’s not my place,” or WORSE, “I can’t” speak in front of audiences. This month’s series is Muslim Moms Kick Ass because they CAN do great things even with great odds. We ALL CAN do the same.
