In this episode, Cristina Gomez is joined by guest Co-Host, Fade to Black Radio Host Jimmy Church for a look at this mystery that dates back to October, 1943..!!
Allegedly, in the fall of 1943 a U.S. Navy destroyer was made invisible and teleported from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Norfolk, Virginia, in an incident known as the Philadelphia Experiment. Supposedly, the crew of the civilian merchant ship SS Andrew Furuseth observed the arrival via teleportation of the Eldridge into the Norfolk area.
The Philadelphia Experiment has also been called "Project Rainbow."
Crew members aboard the ship reported nausea, insanity, and burn marks. Others reported being entirely embedded within the metal structure of the ship, having fallen through floors, or walls during the time it was missing. Some claim to have re-materialized inside out, or not at all.
Several connections have been alleged between Project Invisibility, Project Rainbow, The Philadelphia Experiment, and the Montauk Project.
