The Path You Take

Did you choose to go to college? Did you prepare for retirement? Today we talk about different paths that people have chosen. Many people have started down a road even though they aren't sure if it will get them to where they want to go. They might do it for the "experience" of being on that road. However, many have also complained about the debt they accrued from taking a particular path. Others chose a direction that had less cost and actually got them to their destination.  

  We also talk about how parents can make a huge impact on their kids, not only in learning responsibility and self-sufficiency, but also in how they encourage their kids to learn. We all need to look at the big picture, so we can make decisions logically that will get us what we want out of life. That might mean taking a path less traveled. We need to look at the return on investment if we are going to go to college. We need to look at what we need for retirement. We need to plan ahead, so that we can have the life we want to live. As we wrote in our book, Family Success Triangle, you need to be the right person and do the right things. Then, you can have all the things you want in your life!
