So you can tweet me at Pat Boyle 44 Brad, let's dive into some conference to them and preview shall we because the man is already here It's already delivered with some conferences the NEC my old stomping grounds He used to call games up until this year for the last seven seasons for L.I.U Men's and women's basketball and so that's already delivered a couple of hearts stoppers and then tonight We get some of the You know top mid-major conferences kicking off here and that includes the West Coast conference the WCC Baby which has Gonzaga is a lot to make the tournament the big dance They're the number one seed again Mark Fuse squad a top 12 team in the country Number two is Saint Mary's who has split the season series with the Bulldog so far with Gonzaga and the three seed Santa Clara the four seed

2:18Oregon State that's right Because the beavers are in the WCC and we got a couple of first round matches tonight Portland verse peppered by loyal amendment versus San Diego and so Brad in terms of the odds to win this tournament Gonzaga a heavy favorite at minus 220 on that MGM Saint Mary's is second at plus 250 Santa Clara 3rd at plus 750 and What you know Gonzaga leaving for the renewed pack 12 after this year is this gonna be the final hurrah for Gonzaga versus Saint Mary's Or the first question do you think one of them falls early? Do we not get that final last big war between those two rivals? Well the way the structure of all the WCC conference tournament is it's like a reverse gator So it's like a giant Open mouth if you will again in reverse. So If you think about it that way St. Mary's Gonzaga They're automatically semi-finalists as a way that it's structured

3:21Santa Clara is going to be a quarter finalists So essentially the the Zags and the Gales have like a quadruple by if I'm remembering the layout correctly That's correct. So it's almost and yeah, so it's almost an evident ability there in San City That St. Mary's Gonzaga are going to meet again for the title which they have done. I think the last 13 years In a row and when they've gone toe-to-toe the Zags have won 11os 13 matchups With St. Mary's only getting the out of birth twice now that it's one the regular season on most recently I'll see Mary's won by 11 in Miraga Against the Zags the Zags team Not as strong as previous iterations look. I love Grammy K He's one of the best pivot men in all of college basketball the Garpley's been relatively suspect Brayden Huffley may or may not be back and he's a keycock for that Squapix and beachy inside and outside adds a lot of versatility overall

4:22And you look at the advanced analytics You know the Zags or or a top 80 defense overall court effective futile percentage data But defensively not as strong as we seem previously there are outside the top one 20 last month and effective fuel goal percentage defense I would lay a little action on St. Mary's at the significant plus odds because it seems again inevitable They're going to go toe-toe with again Zaga and in a neutral court environment. What are the Zags gonna be favor by three and a half Maybe as many as four and a half You're probably gonna get a better value on them greater than two-to-one odds to win this thing the betting on them individually Assuming they meet the Zags in the title game and I think the same here seem as damn good They're ultra efficient with the best offensive teams in the entire country They're top 15 and effective fuel goal percentage defense. They have size They have strong guard play They're fabulous on the glass and they are crushing it here relate from way downtown. They're shooting 42.9%

5:24Pat the last 30 days from three point land. So don't sleep on St. Mary's They could easily win the WCC automatic birth that will probably play some maybe as high as the six seed line They're going to be right there teeter on the six seven with some of the other teams and variables of play And then my win a game or two in the anti tournament with the right draw Santa Clara I think all the Broncos got to do seed Nash Uses got to win one game And that's got to solidify their stance for an at large bird. They got a high wow That's winds above bubble. That's all the rage and the metrics According to the selection committee right now a lot of the prakatoche committee is really embraced at Believe including yours truly. So one game for Santa Clara. They win it They're definitely in if they lose it They're going to be sweating out on selection Sunday and the Zags I think of the highest seed they could get if they won the automatic birth as they Three seed It's possible to they could slip to a five seed

6:26If they don't win a single game in this exercise. So yeah, you're right It's it's a three three team race, but a lot of stake for jockeying of seeding stance And whether or not St. Mary's can conquer some of the demons that you know Gonzaga's instilled in them and really owning their head ahead in the WCC tournament annually Yeah, and Santa Santa Clara, you know, based on highest seed they would likely in that quarter final game either play Number six Pacific or number seven Seattle and like you said if you think they win that game bread They would play St. Mary's in the semifinal and you think that they would get into the NCAA tournament no matter what happens No matter what is there any chance Santa Clara is there any chance Santa Clara can win this tournament You know again, I was reading up a lot about them here the fighting Steve Nash's the fighting Jalen Williams is You know, they're you know Bartorvich's number 25 team when you look at adjusted offensive efficiency here since the new year They run they go up tempo, you know, and a conference that is has a lot of teams that play in the half court that plays slow

7:28You know, and again, let's let's let's talk about the elephant in the room no braiding huff likely for Gonzaga before the start of the NCAA tournament Santa Clara would have to beat St. Mary's first given of course They do that. I don't see why like you know, again the value you're getting them pre tournament Plus 750 when we probably you and I probably think there's only three teams that can win this conference tournament What do you you think Santa Clara could maybe go all the way here It's a possibility. They're going to have to blitz and bombard the competition from distance Which they're capable of doing they're shooting 36.1% From way downtown their last-aid games and they're jacking and nearly 45% of their shots from along the arc They have a strong guard. They just don't have the size man. That's the issue with that team They get bludgeon on the glass You know all the times they're one and done ultra fish off at the team as you laid out They're even better since February 1st and what you laid out there on you know top 15 nationally And adjust it offensive efficiency. So again, if they catch fire

8:29If they you know, just start making it rain from outside which they're capable of doing They can beat any team in the WCC. I just don't see that happening Overstretch of three games for them compare the two games that we needed for St. Mary's and Gonzaga to earn the automatic birth Okay, let's pivot here to the summit the summit conference where St. Thomas they are the favorites At plus 130, but it's really a two team race here north Dakota state if I'm not mistaken plus one 40 So it's most likely going to be one of those two guys and then the outside dark horse would be Denver at plus 1100 So north Dakota state they have kind of own this conference here for the better part of the last Handful of seasons What do you think Brad is it coming down to St. Thomas in north Dakota state and then you know one of these teams I don't know what probably would be a 14 or a 15 seed maybe We're looking at a Cinderella glass slipper fitting here. What do you think for the summit conference? Yeah, how about the Tommy's uh, yeah, that's the nickname of St. Thomas

9:32Minnesota folks they're very interesting team one of the most efficient teams offensively in the nation how efficient Well actually the number one in the country and if effective fugal percentage offense over the last 30 days They're shooting 67.6 percent from two that's absurd and 40.2 percent from three And not to be really overlooked offensively their top four in effective fugal percentage defense over that team span Forward away. They're the best team on paper the immense data in this leak now They split when North Dakota state the regular season But they went toe-to-toe the the Tommy's dead with North Dakota state a the bison And they absolutely smoked them the last time they faced so I think up You know, there might be some revenge on the mind of North Dakota state Denver is interesting They're actually playing a little bit more efficient level And then North Dakota state here last 30 days with the Tommy's Far and away should be the front runner and a downright dangerous team if you draw them in the insane tournament because simply

10:38They don't miss from inside man. I again 67.6 percent pat or they play it on a little tight soup. That's crazy Now It definitely is all right. Let's squeeze one more in here and that is arch Man, that's the Missouri Valley tournament, which is always a good one I always post some of the top mid major teams in the country. This tournament's actually underway already But the top five odds going into Today's action and that is Belmont a team that is if they win the tournament likely going to be a 12-seed Very dangerous for any of those five seeds. They're plus one 45 to win the tournament Northern Iowa the team that we've seen pull off some upsets here in the last 15 years in the big dance They're plus 480 you got Bradley not the Bradley Evans At plus 500 and then and then Illinois state at plus 600 it feels like it's Belmont's tournament to lose But there's a lot of good teams in the Missouri Valley conference is there not Yeah, definitely. This is one of my favorites

11:40You know mid-major exercises every single year You know, they they play in Saint Louis I don't even what the building is calling more used to be sky trade I think it's still a sky trade, but I can be wrong on that and they pack it to the gills man The championship game is always on CBS It is always a thrill of minutes Ultra exciting great energy in the building. Let's a damn good basketball league Yeah, I live in you know and the neck of the woods of Illinois state I'm only about 35 minutes away from that campus In between champagne and blooming to normal So I you know, I know league pretty well. I've been to a couple of games And I could tell you this Belmont is by far the way in my estimation the best team especially all offensively I mean They're absolutely dynamite and putting both their basket whether from two whether shooting 63.4% their last eight games They're also netting 42.4% from distance over that stretch Defensively, uh, definitely lackluster nor the number 200 And effective fugal percentage D and also with just a defensive efficiency over the same span

12:44But the guard play and they have a more size and many main majors do They're going to be able to hang tough, but honestly part of the best value of the board is northern Iowa They're in action tonight against Evansville no relation to me And they're going to go out there and absolutely smoke them. Um, I mean nor an Iowa should win that sucker about like 20 plus They're actually the most efficient team in this conference over the last 30 days I look at barituric bell monster for 67 overall in the country during that span or than I was at number 50 So don't sleep too hard on the panthers Uh, that's a team at plus 480 we're a little sprinkle if there's anybody is really going to push bell mod and knock him off It is certainly northern Iowa What what money feels about the fight and court warners because they are from the Hawkeye state He should be rooting for Yeah, uh look by the way So we you have an Evansville And you have a Bradley Bradley in the and safely seek yeah, what if we get Bradley verse Evansville? Who do you Brad Evans Bradley Evansville? Who do you root for?

13:51Uh, that's a game I show up like sometimes parents uh, we'll show up and they got one kind of one team and other kid on the other team And they got like the split jersey that'll be me Yeah You just show up just yourself and you I don't know you paint the one schools colors on the one side of your body The other schools colors on the other side of your body. 15:52I don't know how the tie breakers work out, but I guess there is a possible scenario where both those teams win and Illinois loses They could end up losing out on that triple buy which you know, it would certainly affect your You're getting this on the ILL to win the big 10 tournament. Yes Yes, it would so just go on win baby.
