The Nashville Shooter Manifesto

About this episode

The Tennessee Star, an online news site, obtained documents that are part of the Nashville school shooting at The Covenant School in March of 2023, that resulted in the death of six victims, including three children. The shooter, Aiden Hale, a transgender man, formerly known as Audrey Hale, left behind hand written notes, commonly referred to as the Nashville Shooter Manifesto.
Although some documents have leaked out, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and other Law Enforcement agencies are refusing to release the Manifesto documents. The Tennessee Star is pushing for a full release of all documents related to the shooting and investigation. The FBI sent a letter to local authorities recommending that no Manifesto Documents be released, claiming they represent a "Legacy Token" that might inspire copycat events.
I will discuss what a "Legacy Token" is and weigh as to whether it is in the public’s interest the Manifesto be released or not.
I will also be joined by Cece Woods of The Current Report for an update on stories happening in Los Angeles.
