1. Moonshot thinking starts with a real problem.
Deniz saw conflict over resources and asked: what if cells could make everything we need? That question built a company.

2. The best technology has the lowest cost AND highest quality.
When those two things align — adoption follows. Every time.

3. Assemble people smarter than you.
Deniz conceived the idea. Then got out of the way and hired scientists better than himself. That's leadership.

About Deniz Kent, PhD

• Co-Founder & CEO, Prolific Machines (Oct 2020–Present). Conceived the core technology, built the leadership team, and secured $90 M+ from top-tier investors including Breakthrough Energy Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Ki Tua Fund, Mayfield.

• GSK, Scientist (Sep 2014–Sep 2015). Developed in-vitro monocyte-derived dendritic cell models to investigate tolerogenic receptors.

• University of Bristol, Tumour Immunology Researcher (Sep 2014–Sep 2016). Investigated adenosinemediated suppression of CD8⁺ T cells.
