The Message She Didn’t Understand—Until Later | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

About this episode

On the anniversary of her mom’s passing, she had a vivid dream that didn’t feel like a normal dream.

In it, her mom spoke to her directly—asking her to pass along a message about a baby in the family, telling her everything would be okay.

She woke up and shared it, not thinking too much of it at the time. But later that day, the baby was rushed to the hospital with a high fever. Suddenly, the message didn’t feel random anymore.

Now she believes her mom is still around—checking in, sending reassurance, and making sure her family knows they’re not alone.

If we possibly the undead, this is real-go stories online. That indeed it is. And I got to say, my mom will be all about that shit when she dies someday. But it's going to be constantly going, did you feed the pets? How are the cats doing? Are they good? Have you let them out? But they're in that room all day and you should let them out. It'll be all that. It'll be nothing about how you do it. Here's a life lesson. It's going to be, you know, I cleaned the litter box in dreams. It's not going to be like, here's what you have to look forward to in the afterlife. What are you doing with your life?

No prophetic messages. And not even when I'm doing my life, it's like, what am I doing to affect the pets' lives? It's not even mine. It's just like, are they doing this? Yes, they live a fairly nice life here. I can assure you of that. But that little litter box really needs cleaning. Okay, thanks mom. I have to say that now that both my parents are gone, I think it happens more often. Yeah, certainly for my sisters than it does for me. But I think my sisters get a lot of messages for my parents and help with stuff along the way. I really do. Like good, like meaningful messages that mean something that yeah, I mean, I think that like right now we're going through some difficulties with my father's estate and closing all that out. And I, you know, and speaking with my sister who is very open to stuff like this, it seems like they're kind of stepping in and helping to find this pathway for us through all this bullshit red tape. Yeah. And it's kind of interesting, but I really think that's what's going on. That's cool because

there's so many things where you don't think of this half the time before you die of, or you think you do, you think you have everything in the order that it should be, but surprise. You know, it's like, well, the state or the federal government would like you to do this better or that we get a signature like they're dead. Where am I going to get that? I don't know. I can't, that's got to be a headache and a half. I do not envy you, but that's so neat that that they're able, that you're they're doing that that they're kind of helping guide through something because they're probably sitting there going, this is bullshit. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, that's that'd be for us dreading when you're dead, though, too, where it's like, can I dead? Like, what are we doing? Anyway, let's go to our first call. Hi, let's hear you ghost story. Hi, guys. My name is Carla, and I would love to share this experience with you. So my mom just passed away a year ago. And on her anniversary, day, I had a dream. Well, to give you a little bit of a background before my mom passed away,

we had just find out that my cousin was expecting twins. And so we were all excited, never had twins in the family. My mom was very, very excited because my siblings and I, we have no kids. So it's a hurry with it was something that the kind of like, you know, give her joy during her last days. So my dream begins with me taking my cousin baby to work. One of the twins, I took one of the twins to work. So I first of my cousin doesn't even leave in this country, but in my dream, I had took the baby from her, brought it to the US. And I didn't have nobody to babysit for me that day. So I decided to take the baby with me to work and put the baby in the cabinet thinking that the baby will be saved in the cabinet in the cafeteria at my job until it's time for me to take lunch and feed the baby,

change the diaper and then check on on the baby later on through the day. Well, when I went to the cafeteria, the room, my lunch break in my dream, baby was gone. I freaked out. I started crying, yelling, who took the baby. Oh my god, they are going to call dice is only, what am I going to tell my cousin? And I hear a voice telling me Carla, go home, the baby is fine, go home. And I realized that it was my mom's voice. So I drove home and yes, the baby was laying on my bed next to this shadow figure. And I asked that figure, mom, is that you? So she replied, yes. And I'm like, oh my god, can I touch you? And she's like, no, I need you to tell Sarah, which is Matias, which is Matias is the baby and Sarah is Matias mom. She tells me tell Sarah that Matias is

going to be fine. He's going to be okay. I'm always with him. And I want her to know that everything is going to be fine. So I tell her, okay, mom, I will tell her, but I'm taking this baby back to his mom because I can't watch the baby. And I'm freaking out right now. It's something happens to this baby I can get in so much trouble. I will get so mad at me. And I will just say the baby to his mom. So my mom tells me it's okay. And now I woke up from my dream and I call Sarah's mother to relate the message or tell the dream. And Sarah's mom wasn't home, which is my aunt. So I spoke to my cousin, which is Sarah's little sister. She's 20 years old. And I tell her to dream and tell her what my mom said. So she tells me, okay, I will tell my mom and I will tell Sarah later on when they come over. And we went about our days. The next day, she calls me and

she's like, hey, I need you to call me back immediately. So I said, fine, I call her back and I said, what happened? She told me right after we spoke on the phone, a few hours later, Sarah told me telling me that she's rushing with us to the hospital because he has high fever, high fever. And my mom is going to stay with her at the hospital because they are scared that something can happen to him. I told them about your dream and that kind of make them feel better. And they were saying that they know them at the US is going to be fine. If your mom said she's with him and she's watching over him. So we are happy to know that my aunt, well, my mom, as you told me, my aunt, it's still here watching over us and making sure we are all okay. So that's my experience. I guess my mom comes and tells me the things are going to be fine or

it sends me or tells me messages to her family or to people that were her friends. And I mean, yeah, at first it's a little weird, but I guess you learn to live with it. And I have many experience. I would love to share that with you guys later on. I love your show guys and I hope you guys put this in the show. Thank you. Well, and I'm thinking she also learned not to put the baby in the cabinet. Right. Yeah. That's a big no. You don't do that. That's not going to ever work out. Well, I'm glad she had the experience and the dream. And it wasn't like, oh, and then, you know, I did this in real life too. Like that right? Exactly. Not good. But yeah, mom sounds like she kind of came back and just you're good. You know, it is funny in dreams where we have moments of doing things or making choices that seem perfectly logical in the dream. And you wake up and you go,

why on earth did I think that that would be a good idea in that dream? But it's there's somehow like contexts are different and things are shifted and have changed or just not what they normally are. And then it, I don't know, I don't know how that all works where those sort of things and perspectives can be so different sometimes. And I wondered, some people will just look at it and go, well, that was a goofy dream. And then there's other people who will take a step back and like really analyze it. You know, well, this could mean that and this could be that. So my decision on this really meant my decision on that kind of stuff. And that gets really deep for me. And I can't necessarily dig in that far because I don't, you know, I just don't know. Typically, when I think about dreams and stuff like that, I just go, that was really messed up. And if I wake up in the middle of the night saying the Lord's Prayer and doing the sound of the Cross front of me, it was a bad dream. I just leave it at that. You're like, okay, I'm good. Yes, please, please, go away. Whatever that was. I don't know. The last time I had a dream that like scared me that was ghostly or anything. I do, I've enjoyed spooky dreams. I think in the last

good portion of my life, but I can't tell you the last time I ever woke up like scared. And like, let's turn the lights on scared. It was like two weeks ago. I had one on a Monday night. And it was about vampires, which happens occasionally. Yeah. That was really freaky. And then Tuesday night, I had one about something I've never dreamt about. And that was zombies. And that one freaked me out as well. So I had two nights back to back. And I blamed it on the pain medication. But I don't know. I don't know. Double feature you had there. Yeah. What did the zombies do? So I'm always interested in the zombies. I was trying to get away from them. Like I finally got to the point at the end. I was so tired of trying to run. I was like, well, what's the difference? They're going to get me in the long run anyway. So I give up now. I don't have to be this tired out. But this won't just be eating. Yeah. So where they like walking dead type zombies are like 28 days later type zombies. I think like walking dead. Okay. They had a little bit. They had a little bit more movement. It wasn't like they were walking at like a mile per hour or something like that. Okay. They were actually getting around

pretty good. Okay. Wow. So did they eat you in the end? That's when I woke up. So I'm not really sure. I'm guessing probably yes. Have you ever had it where you've died in your dreams? And you feel like the pain of whatever is happening to you? Only once while drowning. It was a drowning dream. Yeah. Which is my biggest fear. I don't ever want to die drowning. And so that was that was pretty rough. But that's a long time ago. I think I had one of those ones. I've been shot in dreams. And I I don't know what it's like to be shot, but it hurt. And I don't like I can feel physical things in dreams that the whole zombie eating your thing. That's what I would like to just wake up from right away. I don't think I'd like to see that or feel being torn apart or all that. Yeah. Yeah. Although I'd wake up and be like my arm is like being laid on by the dog or something. Yeah. And that's all it is. And I don't know. That would freak me out more than anything. If I feel like I'm being eaten and then I wake up and like there's like literally like kind of teeth there. And it's like, oh my god. It's just the dog. But you know, you never know.
