The Letterman Podcast 035 Fred Graver

About this episode

Fred Graver has had an eclectic career to say the least. He worked for the National Lampoon, Norman Lear, Cheers, Twitter TV, has written two 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books, and he currently works for a Microsoft endeavor teaching AI entities to be better communicators. He also spent 6 years working for Late Night with David Letterman as a writer from 1984-1990. Fred and Mike have a fantastic talk about some of the memories and reflections of the show. Fred literally had a front seat watching David Letterman be able to go out and shoot remote comedy pieces without issue, to it evolving to him not being able to go anywhere without being recognized. There was a lot of great moments in that time and Fred fondly opens his memory vault to talk about them and more.
