About this episode
Vinnie Favale has had an interesting career. In fact, Vinnie has had MANY interesting careers, seemingly all happening at once. He's a writer, producer and director (of many disciplines) and was one of the folks to launch what is now known at Comedy Central. He has also worked for MTV, A&E, HBO and even produced and launched his own musical. He was also the executive liaison from CBS to The Late Show with David Letterman for the bulk of the show's run. Does that make him a pinhead? He and Mike discuss that very topic, and many, many more. Vinnie and Mike have an enthusiasm for Dave & Co that is eerily similar; this is a very high energy episode. Topics range from big moments on the show, like when Senator and Presidential Candidate John McCain had his monumental screw up involving Dave, CBS News, and 'suspension' of his campaign, to much smaller, nuanced details about the day to day workings of the show. Oh, and also Vinnie's connection to Howard Stern, which is just as fascinating as his connection to Dave & Co. Mike and Vinnie covered a lot of ground for his first appearance, and we are so excited for the future stories the two will explore.
