The Laws of Sacrifice & Sponsoring Thought

This is a daily devotion ministry focused not only on uplifting scripture, but scripture that will grow your spiritual connection with Christ. Today's focus discussion will be on understanding the law of sacrifice and sponsoring thought.

1:03When we look at the law of sacrifice, we should also reflect back on the law of focus provided earlier in a previous devotion. The law of sacrifice is defined as that which we are to give up in order to receive what it is we desire. This principle is applicable to everything in this world, whether it be on a personal level or business, in order to get something we must give up something. To have food we must give up something to receive it. To be able to receive that big business contract, the business must give up something in order to get it. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are. In comparison with the law of focus, it is what we are willing not to do in order to focus on what it is we desire. The two laws have a different focal point, but come to the same conclusion. We have to give up something to get something. Abraham was willing to give up his only son in order to get what he wanted, which was God's favor. In doing so, Abraham not only was spared

2:03the life of his son, but gained more abundance than could he have ever imagined. The final law identified within this story is also reflected in Abraham when he spoke to his son about God to be sacrificed. Abraham could have told his son about God's requested sacrifice, and in doing so would have caused an outcome different than what God had requested. However, Abraham praised God in his answer to his son's question and did not alarm Isaac as well. Abraham in his speech gave God the ability to know that while he was going to go through with sacrificing Isaac, he believed God would provide his own sacrifice, and it was this belief that he did not tell Isaac of the plan sacrifice. By doing this, Abraham placed him in a position of being able to receive the blessing of God of providing his own sacrifice instead of Abraham's son, the law of giving and receiving, which was provided in an earlier devotion.

3:10At the root of all of life's journey is the understanding that everything begins with a single thought, and if your thinking is not producing what you need it to produce, then you need to change the way and method of your thinking. The law of sponsoring thought is the law that allows us to change our thoughts at will. In the ancient texts and through biblical translations, we are told of our belief systems. In fact, in Deuteronomy, beginning with chapter 6, Moses tells us the following. Hero Israel, the Lord of our God is one Lord, and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with our thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart, and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sitest in thine house. It began early to teach our children what to believe, but what we teach them to believe needs the laws of the universe as created by our

4:14universal source creator, not of translation or belief of the common man which the majority of our translations come from. It is these belief patterns that determine our reality, our sponsoring thoughts. The life you are living today is the result of your basic thoughts or opinions about this experience we call life. These basic thoughts or beliefs are your sponsoring thoughts, the thought patterns that define your relationship to everything that is happening in this experience we call life. We are not talking here about passing fancies, whims, or our changing ideas, and opinions about this and that. What is meant here is the basic view or understanding of life. These are the ideas that underlie everything we think, say and do, are basic ideas about the

5:14nature of reality. Each person, every individual human being, has his or her own unique spin or version of the nature of reality, which usually comes from our period of growth and education, beliefs from our parents, teachers, and other influential people. There are as many variations on life's reality as there are humans living on this planet earth. This is why everyone is also living in his or her own creative world. People have very different views of the nature of reality or of this experience we call life. And as a result, they have very different life experiences. But whatever their life experiences are, they are the outward manifestation of their sponsoring thoughts. This is the reason we must change our belief system to a knowing system that allows us to fully understand the basics of life. Our greatest teacher said when he walked this earth, according to your faith be it done unto you, as thou hast believed, so be it done unto the Matthew 813. When we understand that the world we are living in is a direct result of

6:20and reflection of our own creative thoughts, sponsoring or known about life or the nature of reality, we will have discovered another important key to improving our life, realizing our dreams, and bringing infinitely more good things into our life.
