AP Sports on Mike Hempen Ben Shelton has ended Carlos Alcarazas title reign in the latest finishing match in US Open history. Shelton won a five set marathon that ended at 3.33 AM Wednesday. The Yankees have clinched their 34th consecutive winning season with a 5.3 win over the Rockies.
