Michael Flynn and the Justice Department have reached a settlement in his lawsuit alleging political targeting related to his 2017 criminal case. The party's informed a federal judge in Florida on Wednesday of the decision, although the settlement amount was not disclosed. Flynn had originally wanted $50 million after accusing the government of malicious prosecution and abuse of process. Even after a judge dismissed his lawsuit in 2024.

The CDC says more than 10,000 TB cases were reported in America last year, including 967 in New York. That's the most of any U.S. city and that reverses three decades of decline. The disease, also known as white plague, primarily affects the lungs and is the world's deadliest infectious disease. Health experts say cases are often missed because TB can be mistaken for flu or RSV, delays in treatment of led to a surge in antibiotic resistance to first-line tuberculosis drugs. A new document released by the Catholic Church finds no objection to using animals as a source of organs,

The Vatican says Xenotransplants could offer an unlimited supply of organs tissue and cells relieving the chronic shortage of human donors, while also noting they need to avoid any chance the recipients genome will be altered.
