President Trump since Iran is absolutely negotiating to end the war with the U.S., but they're afraid to say it. Speaking to a crowd at a Republican fundraiser Wednesday night, Trump said that Tehran wants to make a deal, but they aren't admitting it because the people the U.S. is talking with are afraid they'll be killed by their own people.

1:00Trump said they're also afraid that they'd be killed by us. Iranian officials maintain that no negotiations are happening, although the country's foreign minister said the U.S. has sent messages through friendly countries. The White House is pointing the finger at the Democrats as the partial government shutdown drags on. Democrats rejected a Republican proposal to reopen the Department of Homeland Security with only partial funding for ICE and instead offered a counter-proposal. For the Democrats in Congress, the cruelty of this shutdown is the point. Nearly 500 TSA officers have quit since the Democrats shutdown began. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt says Republicans have already offered plenty of concessions with regards to ICE. This stalemate has led to extremely long lines at TSA checkpoints at airports across the U.S. The deputy administrator of the TSA is issuing a warning as the agency continues to face staffing problems. Hon. McNeil warns Congress that staffing shortage is tied to the partial government shutdown could force the agency to close small airports. McNeil says 460 TSA agents have quit since DHS ran out of funding last month.

2:04The TSA chief also caution that the issues could have dire consequences for the country's ability to prepare for the FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to have games across 11 different U.S. cities. I'm Jim Roop. And the U.S. military is killed four people in another strike on a boat in the Caribbean Sea. U.S. Southern Command claimed the Wednesday strike targeted a drug trafficking boat operated by a designated terrorist organization. Southcom shared a video of the strike on social media saying that no U.S. service members were hurt in the operation. Since September of last year, around 50 boats have been struck in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean. I'm Mark McNeil. A federal prosecutor says they don't have any evidence of crimes committed by federal reserve chairman Jerome Powell, related to the renovation of these central bank scard quarters. Michael Kastner reports. During a hearing on March 3 at Judge in Washington, D.C. asked the prosecutor if there was evidence of fraud to which they replied, we don't know at this time, but added there's plenty of reasons to look into it.

3:05The Justice Department launched a criminal investigation into Powell earlier this year. President Trump had called on Powell to lower interest rates saying he wasn't acting fast enough. The judge in the case is James Bosberg, who's gone back and forth with the White House since the start of Trump's second term. I'm Michael Kastner. The Department of Justice has settled a social media censorship lawsuit filed against the Biden administration. The suit launched the administration pressured social media companies to suppress conservative leaning speech, including related to COVID. As part of the settlement, the CDC, the Surgeon General's Office, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, are barred from engaging in that kind of pressure against social media companies for 10 years. For the first time in 1400 years, a woman is leading the Church of England. Here's Tammy Trujillo. Sarah Malali, formerly the Bishop of London, was installed Wednesday as New Archbishop of Canterbury, the 106th person in the office and the first woman ever to hold the title. I solemnly commit myself before you to the service of the Church of England, the Anglican Communion, and the whole Church of Christ throughout the world.
