Respondent's position is that when Congress said arrives in the United States, it meant stopped outside the United States. That theory is wrong for the simple reason that it defies the statutory text. The policy was enacted during the Obama administration and was significantly broadened during the first Trump administration. It's no longer in place after being rescinded by President Biden in 2021. The Trump administration calls it a critical tool for addressing surges and immigrants at the border. And court observers say the justices appeared at least somewhat sympathetic to that argument. Now a congressman is doing his part to make sure the feds recognize the name change.

4:09Republican representative Brian Mass bill would direct the appropriate federal agencies to update all references to the new name upon enactment and instructs the FAA to coordinate with the International Air Transport Association to pursue adoption of the airport code DJT. That would replace the current code PBI. The FAA must still approve the name change. I'm Joel Malkin. The company behind Fortnite planning to lay off 1,000 employees at a game CEO Tim Sweeney said a downturn in Fortnite engagement that started last year means the company is spending significantly more than it's making. Sweeney went on to say the layoffs are part of a plan to cut $500 million in cost. Epic Games cut more than 800 jobs in 2023.
