Speaking from Memphis on Monday, Trump again said he's putting strikes against Iranian power plants on hold for the time being. You see, if a broader agreement can be reached, President said the success of Operation Epic Fury has brought Iran to the bargaining table and they want peace. Tax season is back, so is the child tax credit more from Jack Cromley. As families gear up for tax season, the child tax credit is once again front and center. CPA Lisa Green Lewis with Turbo Tax. That credit is a credit you get for each dependent under 17. For 2025 returns, the credit remains $2,200 per qualifying child under the age of 17. Up to 1700 refundable for many households. Green Lewis says there are some restrictions. It does have income thresholds, so if you're single

3:02and if you earn $200,000 and under, you would get the full credit. If you're married filing jointly, it's $400,000. The IRS is reminding parents that even those who don't normally file may still be eligible for a refund through the additional child tax credit. Your dependent child must have lived with you for more than half the year and don't forget. The tax filing deadline is Wednesday, April 15th at midnight. Your Tuesday could be a lot more fun.
