Israel's Defense Minister says US and Israeli Strikes on Iran will increase significantly this week. The Defense Minister, Israel Katz, made this statement this morning and said the military campaign against Iran led by US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will continue. Yesterday, Trump said he was considering winding down the three-week-old war, and that the US was very close to achieving all of its objectives. We have a lot of troops. We have unlimited ammunition. We have the greatest equipment in the world, and we are decimating Iran. It's about time. And frankly, it should have been done long before me. Last week, reports said a Marine Expeditionary Unit with 2,500 Marines and three amphibious assault ships were being sent to the region. Chuck Norris has died. Michael Kassner reports. 2:06in Hawaii. Norris suffered an undisclosed medical emergency on the Hawaiian island of Khoi and was hospitalized. His family said they'd like to keep the circumstances private, but one of his fans to know he was at peace. Norris was a martial arts expert and had his breakout role starring in the way of the dragon opposite Bruce Lee. He went on to star in lone wolf McQuade and invasion USA, but was perhaps best known as Cordell Walker on the TV show Walker Texas Ranger from 1993 to 2001. In Los Angeles, I'm Michael Kassner. 3:08on Texas. I'm Lisa Taylor. Airport security checkpoints are still seeing long lines as the partial government shutdown continues. Authorities have advised travelers to be prepared for worsening wait times today as transportation security administration workers continue to go without pay. Tom Costello reports on just how long the lines are. Two to three hour lines at both Houston airports, NBC's Priscilla Thompson. Here at Bush Intercontinental, the line's making it through the terminal downstairs almost to the parking garage. Name in New York and Miami, 35 days without a full paycheck, 5,000 of the 50,000 TSA officers are calling out often working second jobs, more than 30% calling out in Atlanta and Houston. According to the Department of Homeland Security, over 300 TSA workers have left their jobs amid the shutdown. Marty Supreme will hit HBO Max next month. Do you make money? An Anchorage, Alaska man, is facing charges after allegedly robbing a bank while armed only with the power and authority of Jesus Christ. Monica Nelson reports, An affidavit filed in Alaska District Court says 35-year-old Dishallon Jelkes walked into a credit union one late last month and handed the teller a note that read, "'I have a weapon, and that weapon I am armed with is the power and authority of Jesus Christ.'" Empty the drawer into an envelope, do not set off the alarm. The teller gave Jelkes the money in an envelope that included a tracker. Police located the suspect at a Costco across the street and arrested him. Cops say he then asked arresting officers if he'd be getting any of the stolen money back. I'm Lisa Taylor.
