Democrats are not holding back regarding president Trump after he posted that he was, quote, glad Robert Mueller is dead. The former special counsel in the investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election died on Friday at the age of 86. Following his death, Trump went to truth social, saying, good, I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people. Senator Mark Warner from Virginia. I'm just disappointed by the tone the president is taking. Or he basically celebrates his death.
Mueller served as FBI director from 2001 to 2013. Former president George W. Bush said Mueller led the agency effectively after the September 11 terrorist attacks. President Trump says he's ready to deploy immigration and customs enforcement agents to US airports. In a social media post today, the president said that ICE agents would help TSA and would direct them to arrest anyone suspected of immigrating illegally to the United States. Trump said I will move our ICE agents to the airports where they will do security. Dangerous flood conditions could get worse in the Hawaiian Islands where thousands have been ordered to evacuate. In a Wahoo, there are fears about a 120 year old dam collapsing or breaching, but it's held so far. The dam is solid right now. It's around 81.83 feet, 85 feet being the threshold of great concern, but we still evacuate to 5,500 people. Governor Josh Green says the islands haven't seen any
flood related deaths despite the life threatening conditions. There's been widespread flooding in the region due to a subtropical cyclone known as a Kona storm. Kevin Hart will take shots from his fellow comedians and celebrities later this spring. Netflix announced the roast of Kevin Hart will take place May 10th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The voluntary recall is due to the possible presence of a foreign substance. A notice from the Food and Drug Administration says taro pharmaceuticals receive complaints from customers who reported a gel-like mass and black particles in the drug products. The recall includes four ounce bottles of children's ibuprofen oral suppression with an expiration date of January 31st, 2027. The FDA said the children's medication were manufactured in India for taro pharmaceuticals USA. Elon Musk is offering to pay the salaries of TSA employees
as the partial government shutdown drags on, details from Lisa Carton. The billionaire Tesla CEO posted the offer on the social media platform X early Saturday saying he would cover the cost during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports across the country. A growing number of TSA officers are calling out sick or if quits since the shutdown began in mid-February. I'm Lisa Carton.
