This is your 24-7 News Update, the latest views this hour in just four minutes. Former special counsel Robert Mueller, who led the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, has died. Mueller died Friday at the age of 81. The family did not reveal how he died, but he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2021. Mueller served as FBI director from 2001 to 2013. The Justice Department appointed him special counsel in 2017 to oversee the investigation after President Trump fired FBI director James Callme. Trump responded to Mueller's death on truth, social saying, quote, good, I'm glad he's dead.

1:02He can no longer hurt innocent people. President Trump is not commenting on the possibility of American soldiers fighting on Iranian soil. While leaving the White House on Friday, Trump was asked about the possibility of the U.S. deploying ground troops in Iran. I may have a planner, I may not, but how would I ever say that to a reporter? By saying that to a reporter, Mark, it would say please sir. That's pretty wrong because the helicopter immediately. Trump also ruled out a ceasefire with Iran saying there's no need, quote, when you're obliterating the other side. Israel's Defense Minister says U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran will increase significantly this week. Defense Minister Israel Katz made the statement this morning and said the military campaign against Iran led by President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will continue. The president's comment followed reports that the Pentagon is sending thousands of additional Marines to the Middle East. Nearly 90,000 bottles of children's eye view profit are being recalled. Northern California could return to drought by early summer. Jim Forbes has more. Nearly 16% of the state is already abnormally dry. Even though rainfall was close to normal, a warm winter shrank the mountain snowpack to its lowest in more than 10 years. According to the California Department of Water Resources, the Northern Sierra Nevada has only 18% of its usual snowpack. California's reservoirs are near capacity, but mountain snow is melting quickly, which leaves little for continued runoff through the spring. And Arizona River Town has broken the record for the hottest day in March in US history.

3:04Martinez Lake is a town of about 800 that sits along the Colorado River north of Yuma. On Thursday, the National Weather Service says Martinez Lake hit 110 degrees the hottest day ever for the month of March. The previous record was 108 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Forecasters are expecting more heat records to be broken today. And thanks to historic warm temperatures and near record low snowpack, a popular Utah ski resort is calling it quits Sunday. Jason Toulin reports. Snowbase and announced it will be closing March 22nd, nearly a month earlier than it typically closes in mid-April. According to ski Utah, this will be the fourth Utah resort to close in March, as Cherry Peak and Eagle Point have already closed their slopes and Nordic Valley plans to conclude its season on March 21st. Since records, started being recorded in 1874, Salt Lake City has recorded its warmest winter ever. Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?
