1:00President Trump says the U.S. was not involved in Israel's reported strike on an Iranian gas field. Iran claims the attack targeted a field near the Persian Gulf shared with Qatar a key U.S. ally, more from Claudio Lavango. Israel has announced that it has carried out an attack on the Iranian side of the world's largest natural gas site called South Parse, which Iran shares with Qatar. Only hours later, Qatar reported extreme damage to another of its own natural gas sites after Israel threatened to retaliate. Trump says Israel acted alone and warned the U.S. could take action if Qatar is attacked signalling further escalation could impact global energy markets.
