President Trump claims Israel attacked a major Iranian gas field with no help from the United States, more from Tammy Trahio. Iran claimed on Wednesday that Israel struck its gas fields near the Persian Gulf that it shares with Qatar, a close US ally. That sent oil prices sharply higher.

1:01Trump posted on Truth Social that the strike was carried out with no US or Qatar involvement. He also said that Israel would carry out no further attacks on the gas fields in southern Iran, unless Qatar was attacked, in which case the President warned the US would strike the fields, quote, with or without the help or consent of Israel. A former senior intelligence official is being investigated by the Trump administration for allegedly leaking classified information. NBC News is reporting Joe Ken to longtime Trump ally who resigned in protest over the war with Iran is now under FBI investigation. Ken denounced Tuesday that he was stepping down as director of the National Counterterrorism Center. FAA is tightening helicopter safety measures. According to FAA administrator Brian Bedford and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, the Trump administration is suspending the use of visual separation between airplanes and helicopters. Dolores Cuerta is accusing Caesar Chavez of sexually assaulting her and fathering two of her children, more from Lisa Carton. She released her statement at age 96 saying the encounters happened in the 1960s, and that she stayed quiet for decades to protect the farm worker movement she helped build. The claims surface the same day a New York Times investigation detailed multiple allegations against Chavez, including accounts from women who say they were abused as miners. Lawyers for a suspected health insurance CEO killer, Luigi Mangione, want to push back his federal trial to 2027, more from Andrew Whitman. That's because Mangione faces a June date in New York State Court for killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside of Midtown Hotel in December 2024 and a September court date

3:06in federal court. Mangione's lawyers told the federal court Wednesday they can't prepare for two trials at the same time. They also argue the schedule violates Mangione's rights. As taxpayers get ready for filing season, the IRS is reminding Americans that charitable donations can still lower your tax bill, but only if you follow the rules. CPA Lisa Green Lewis with TurboTax talks about the most important rule. If you can itemize your deductions, you can claim charitable contributions. If you donate non cash items over $250, then you should get an acknowledgement from the organization that you donate to. To claim a deduction, contributions must be made to a qualified charitable organization and you'll need to itemize your deductions on schedule A and don't forget the tax filing deadline is Wednesday, April 15th at midnight.
