The United Farm Workers is speaking out of mid-allegations against immigration rights icon Cesar Chavez. The UFW released a statement Tuesday saying it had learned of allegations involving the abuse of young women or minors by Chavez. UFW officials say they don't have detailed knowledge of the allegations, but that they're troubling enough that the group wants to learn more and provide space for those who may have been victimized. Cesar Chavez Day is set to be marked on March 31, but cities around the country have been canceling Chavez Day events since the allegations came out. A former senior intelligence official is being investigated for allegedly leaking classified information. Multiple reports say that Joe Kent, a longtime Trump ally who resigned in protest over the war with Iran, is now under FBI investigation. Kent announced Tuesday he was stepping down as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. He served under Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and said Tuesday he opposed the decision to launch military action against Iran, arguing the regime did not present an imminent

2:06threat. The FBI has not commented. Actor Val Kilmer is being resurrected by AI to star in the film as deep as the grave. Kilmer was first cast in 2020 as father Fin Town, a Catholic priest and Native American spiritualist but was unable to make it to the set due to his battle with throat cancer, eventually passing away in 2025. The film's writer and director Kurt Voorhees used state-of-the-art generative AI with the cooperation of the late actress estate and family to bring Kilmer into the film. New research shows belly fat may be a stronger indicator of heart failure than body mass index. That story from Michael Casner. Researchers presented their findings at the American Heart Association EP Lifestyle Scientific Sessions. The study shows where fat is stored in the body may matter more than weight, and that inflammation is a key factor. In the study, inflammation accounted for roughly 1-quarter to 1-third of the link between measures of fat stored around the waist and heart failure
