The number of US service members injured in the war in Iran is climbing. A spokesperson for the US Central Command says approximately 200 injuries have occurred, but the vast majority of those have been minor. There have been 13 confirmed American fatalities since the start of Operation Epic Fury.

1:02Israel says Iran's top security chief was killed overnight. Israel's Defense Minister announced today that Ali Larajani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, had been eliminated. Raf Sanchez has the latest this morning from Beirut. Ali Larajani is the Secretary of the National Security Council, but that doesn't really capture his importance. He effectively has been Iran's wartime leader with the former Supreme Leader killed, the current Supreme Leader wounded, potentially out of the picture. It has been Larajani who seems to be running the country day by day. He was seen as a close ally to the late Ayatollah Ali Hameini, who was killed at the start of Operation Epic Fury. President Trump is calling out the UK for what he sees as its lack of support in the Iran war. Details from Mark Mayfield. Speaking from the White House, Trump included the UK in countries that he said are not helping to secure the strait of Hormuz against Iranian aggression.

2:02Trump said the US has helped the UK for decades in times of war and is our oldest ally. Trump spoke with the British Prime Minister over the weekend who said they are having ongoing discussions about the strait. Iran has attacked the tankers in the vital waterway where about one-fifth of the world's oil passes through, which has led to a surge of gas prices in the US. I'm Mark Mayfield. Severe weather could once again lead to travel disruptions as more than 90 million people are under some type of weather alert today across the eastern half of the country. In addition to the weather posing a problem, unpaid TSA agents have been manning increasingly slow security checkpoints as the partial government shutdown continues. I'm Michael Casner. There will be a new participant in New York City St. Patrick's Day parade, Mayor Zoran Mamdani, more from Andrew Whitman. There had been some question as to whether Mayor Mamdani would join the parade. The Catholic League said it wasn't sure after Mamdani skipped the installation of Archbishop Ronald Hicks. And during the campaign, Mamdani said he'd likely miss a lot of parades.

3:05Monday, Mamdani said not only that he'd be in the parade marching alongside police commissioner Jessica Tish, but that he's also hosting a St. Patrick's Day breakfast at Gracie Mansion. NBA's Board of Governors could vote next week on whether to consider expansion by two teams, more from Brad Ford. It's expected the teams could be Seattle and Las Vegas, but that vote wouldn't happen until later. 23 of 30 NBA owners would have to approve the vote for the process to move forward. The League would identify potential owners and then another vote would be held to determine whether expansion would actually happen. If it does, the teams would start in the 2028 season. The 200-year-old company behind the Miriam Webster dictionaries is suing open AI, more from Tammy Trehio. Encyclopedia Britannicus says the artificial intelligence firm is infringing on its copyrighted material using the dictionaries online articles to train its technology. Britannicus says this has cannibalized its web traffic and led to lost ad revenue. The New York Times has a similar ongoing lawsuit against open AI. I'm Tammy Trehio.
