Posting on social media Saturday the UK, China, France and other countries should send warships to the narrow straight near Iran to ensure that oil tankers can get free. It runs new leaders vowed to block the straight in response to the ongoing attacks by the U.S. and Israel.

1:05The Pentagon's identified the six Air Force members killed in a plane crash in Iraq. U.S. Central Command says the soldiers died Thursday when their military refueling tanker crashed in western Iraq. They're identified as Major John Clinton of Alabama. Captain Ariana Savino of Washington state. Tech Sergeant Ashley Pruitt of Kentucky. Captain Seth Koval of Indiana. Captain Curtis Angst and Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons both of Ohio. And as Lisa Taylor reports, the Pentagon's preparing to send thousands of more Marines and sailors to the Middle East. That's according to multiple reports citing U.S. officials. An amphibious ready group would also include 2,500 sailors. The deployment would provide assets for ground operations afforded. It comes as Iran continues to target ships in the strait of Hormuz. I'm Lisa Taylor. Republicans in the U.S. Senate are expected to bring their Save America Act to the floor for a vote this coming week. President Trump's been ramping up the heat on Senate Majority Leader John Thune who says there's not enough votes to beat the 60 vote threshold needed to pass the voter ID measure.

The agency says the products could be contaminated with Listeria, which can cause serious and fatal infections and those with weakened immune systems. A man who allegedly sold the gun used in the old Dominion shooting in Virginia is facing federal charges. Court documents say Kenya Chapman is accused of making false statements while purchasing a firearm and dealing firearms without a license. One person was killed two people injured in Thursday shooting on the campus, the gunman a former guardsman who had pled guilty to supporting ISIS. With the war in Iran cutting off oil supplies and driving up prices, President Trump's making moves to boost U.S. oil production.

3:12We get more from Jason Nathanson. President Trump wants the oil to start flowing again off of California's coast. He signed an executive order that would allow the company's table to start using a pipeline that ruptured in 2015 causing one of the worst oil spills in California history. Sable bought the pipeline complex in 2024 and says everything's been fixed, but California hasn't yet approved a restart. Governor Newsom vows to fight the move, saying in a statement that Trump is exploiting the Iran war and putting California's coastal economy at risk. I'm Jason Nathanson. A federal judge has blocked subpoenas that were served against federal reserve chair Jerome Powell by the Justice Department. More from Lisa Carton. Americans were related to a probe into the management of the Fed's renovation. Judge James Bozberg said a mountain of evidence suggests the government served these subpoenas on the board to pressure its chair into voting for lower interest rates or resigning. U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. Jeanine Piro slammed Bozberg's decision and said the DOJ plans to appeal. President Trump has called for Powell to lower rates and has went after the current Fed chair since the start of his second term.
