Iran's Fars News Agency reported no damage to the key oil terminal itself, but warned today of consequences if that happens. In a post on truth, a social president Trump said, U.S. forces had, quote, totally obliterated every military target on Kars Island, but had chosen not to wipe out the oil infrastructure on the island. Their navy has gone, their air force has gone. Most of them military has gone.

1:00Trump added he will immediately reconsider that decision if Iran or anyone else interferes with the safe passage of ships through the strait of Hormuz. The U.S. is preparing to send more Marines and warships to the Middle East. Multiple reports at Friday, a Marine Expeditionary Unit with 2,500 soldiers and three amphibious assault ships are being sent to the region. The amphibious group will also include 2,500 sailors as Iran continues to target ships in the strait of Hormuz, which is led to a surge of gas prices in the U.S. And with the war in Iran driving up prices and cutting off the supply of oil for many, President Trump is making moves to boost U.S. oil production, more from Jason Nathanson. President Trump wants the oil to start flowing again off of California's coast. He signed an executive order that would allow the company Sable to start using a pipeline that ruptured in 2015, causing one of the worst oil spills in California history. Sable bought the pipeline complex in 2024 and says everything's been fixed. But California hasn't yet approved a restart. Governor Newsom vows to fight the move,

2:01saying in a statement that Trump is exploiting the Iran war and putting California's coastal economy at risk. The Southwest is bracing for an extreme heat wave next week. The National Weather Service says the Los Angeles area will be hit with an extremely rare, long-duration heat wave starting Monday with temps up to 35 degrees above normal, lasting possible through Friday, setting all-time records for the month of March. I'm Lisa Carton. Some Excel energy customers in Colorado will likely have their power shut off today due to high winds and critical fire conditions. The outages will be in parts of Boulder and Jefferson counties. We're expecting it'll be about 18,000 customers roughly. We expect the wind event to begin is about two o'clock in the afternoon. The high wind conditions will persist at least through five or six. Excel Energy Colorado president Robert Kenny says that doesn't mean people's power will be back on by 6 p.m. Crews will be able to inspect the lines and begin then the restoration process. Charges are dropped for teens involved in a prank

3:04that led to the death of a Hall County schoolteacher in Georgia. Scott Kimbler reports. Jason Hughes was killed last Friday when teens toilet paper rolled trees in his yard. As the teens were driving away, Hughes slipped on wet asphalt. He was hit by a pickup driven by student, Jaden Wallace. Wallace was initially charged with vehicular homicide, but after meeting with family members and investigators, the A. Lee Dera as opted to drop charges. Hughes family was in supported dropping charges calling the incident an accidental tragedy. I'm Scott Kimbler. Formula one will reportedly cancel two races in the Middle East next month due to the war in Iran. Rob Martyr reports multiple reports say the announcement about the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia is expected to come this weekend. Both countries have been attacked by Iran following the US and Israel strikes on Iran. F1 is not expected to replace the dates, which would cut the season down to 22 races. That would mean the Miami Grand Prix in Maine would be the first following the race in Japan
