The US is ramping up air strikes on Iran. Secretary of War Pete Hegset said Tuesday was the most intense day of strikes. With the conflict now in its second week, Hegset said Iran stands alone and is losing badly. He added that the operations in Iran will not be endless. The International Energy Agency met in Paris to discuss the emergency release of oil stockpiles due to the supply disruption caused by the conflict.

1:07More than 30 countries, including the US, are members of the group, which collectively holds about 1.2 billion barrels of oil in reserve. Oil tanker traffic through the straight-of-armose is slowed to a trickle causing the biggest supply disruption in history. Some 20 percent of the world's petroleum supply normally passes through that key waterway. The White House is pushing for Congress to pass the Save America Act that primarily focuses on voter ID. More on that story from Mark Mayfield. On Tuesday, press secretary Caroline Levitt said that President Trump is calling on Congress to get the job done and send him a bill. The Save America Act is overwhelmingly popular with all Americans because each provision is rooted in common sense. Levitt push Macon mostly Democrat claims that the Act would prevent marrying women from voting due to their name change. Levitt said it's a simple matter of women updating their status when they registered a vote. Levitt called it insulting the claim women and minorities would be disenfranchised at the polls because of the Act. By Mark Mayfield. Open AI and Google deep-mind executives and engineers are partnering with Anthropic and its legal fight with Pentagon.

2:12A legal brief in support of the AI startup has been signed by dozens who believe the Pentagon abused its power in labeling and anthropic a supply chain risk. The extraordinary move has historically been reserved for foreign adversaries. Anthropics complaint called the action unprecedented and unlawful and noted the move is harming anthropic irreparably. Defense vendors and contractors are now being required to certify they don't use Anthropics models in their work with the Pentagon. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Home sales are picking up as mortgage rates decline Matt Manson reports. The National Association of Realtors says existing home sales increased by 1.7% in February. The group's chief economist cited improving affordability as the key factor month over month sales of previously owned homes rose in the Midwest, South and West, but fell in the Northeast. I'm at Matt and San. Travelers are experiencing long wait times at airport security checkpoints as the partial government shutdown continues. It's left most of the Department of Homeland Security without funding since mid-February.

3:13The lack of pay is led to a shortage of TSA workers at checkpoints and impossibly long lines in some airports. Having to deal with difficult people could make you age faster. Michael Casner has the details. That's according to a study published last month in proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Researchers found that people who have people in their lives that create problems and make life more difficult have a higher biological age compared to their actual age. On average, a person aged 1.5% faster for each difficult person. I'm Michael Casner. Elon Musk is still the richest person in the world. Forbes is out with this list of the wealthiest people in 2026. And once again, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO is on top of the list with an estimated fortune of $839 billion. The list makes an effort to list all of the world's billionaires. It grew by 400 to more than 3,400 this year. In the next two spots on the list are Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Metta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

4:18The American Music Awards is returning to Las Vegas. The AMA is held its first live ceremony since 2022 last year, airing from Los Angeles. This year it will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Nominations for the event will be announced on April 14th with the ceremonies airing on CBS on May 25th. I'm Tammy Trujillo.
