This is your 24-7 News Update, the latest views this hour in just four minutes. The White House says the military operation against Iran has been a resounding success, more for Mark Mayfield. On Tuesday, press secretary Caroline Levitt, echoed President Trump, saying Operation Epic Fury is ahead of schedule in meeting its goals. The United States military is making tremendous strides towards achieving our military objectives for Operation Epic Fury. The goals include making sure Iran has no nukes and dismantling its ballistic missile capability. She repeated Trump's warning to Iran that it will be hit 20 times harder if it restricts the flow of oil through the state of Hormuz. Levitt said Trump is working to address
the temporary oil disruptions that have led to rising gas prices. I'm Mark Mayfield. The Pentagon says 140 U.S. service members have been wounded since the start of the conflict. In a statement, chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Harnel said the vast majority of the injuries have been minor and 108 service members have already returned to duty. He adds that eight service members remain listed as severely injured. Seven U.S. service members have now been killed since the start of Operation Epic Fury. The race to fill former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene seat is projected to advance to a runoff election. Democrat Sean Harris and Republican Clay Fuller have pulled ahead in a crowded field of 22 candidates. But with neither gaining a 50% majority, the winner of Georgia's 14th congressional district will be decided in a runoff set for April 7th. Greene resigned from Congress at the start of this year after a falling out with President Trump. Fuller was endorsed by Trump last month. Police in Toronto are investigating what they describe as a national security incident. After gunfire struck the U.S. Consulate early Tuesday morning, authorities say officers
found shell casings and evidence of gunfire. They're looking at a possible links to the ongoing U.S. military operation against Iran. No one was injured. The Ravens have backed out of their potential deal to acquire Max Crosby from the Raiders. Baltimore was set to send its 2026 and 27 first round draft picks in return for the five time pro-Bola. ESPN's Dan Graziano said the Ravens had medical concerns about Crosby. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Pope Leo is said to be following the conflict unfolding in the Middle East with concern. Michael Casner reports. A statement from the Vatican on Monday said the Pope was praying for the bloodshed to end. It said the pontiff expressed his sorrow for the many innocent people who have died, including children and those who care for them. Those caught up in the conflict so far include a Catholic priest killed in Lebanon on Monday as he rushed to aid parishioners after their home was struck by apparent Israeli tank fire. I'm Michael Casner. Open AI and Google Deep Mind executives are partnering with Anthropic in its legal battle with the Pentagon.
A legal brief in support of the AI startup has been signed by dozens who believe the Pentagon abused its power in labeling Anthropic a supply chain risk. Anthropic's complaint called the action unprecedented and unlawful and noted that the move is harming Anthropic irreparably. Defense vendors and contractors are now being required to certify they don't use Anthropic's models in their work with the Pentagon. Actor George Clooney is launching a non-alcoholic beer brand. Daniel Martindale has details. Clooney is teaming up with entrepreneur Randy Gerber and real estate developer Mike Meldman. On Monday, they announced Crazy Mountain, an on-alcoholic logger-style beer. Clooney says it will give people the taste of beer without the after effects. Crazy Mountain will debut and select US markets including Los Angeles later this month. Clooney previously co-founded the Casa Migos Tequila brand with Gerber.
